colors screen awards...zee cine awards...

all were talking abt yash chopra only...lifetime achievement award and tributes only for him...

y the film fraternity forgot the other stars who passed away last year...

y no tribute to them...no remembrance...

bollywood's first super star - Rajesh khanna...

and bollywood's first action hero dhara singh...

I guess maybe Yash Chopra was pretty active unti his death.

With Dara Singh, as much adulation the film fraternity showed for him, i think they still see him as a regional small-time star. Not worthy of their appreciation perhaps?

did he...then good...

i saw only zee and colors...in that no one mentioned about these people...

colors they showed 2012 moments...in that also yash ji's death mentioned but not rajesh khanna or dara singh...

rajesh khanna was also active...popular...superstar...MP...and his family members are very much active in the film industry..still y they dint mention...

and abt dhara sing..what u said may be right...

Rajesh khanna was not at all as active as yash chopra was, yash chopra died while making a movie!

Cause it's Lifetime Achievement Award, not some posthumous award. Yash Chopra is dead but his last work released in 2012.

But non-active have got the award in the past. Hema Malini, Rekha etc are few of them. But yes, this year Yash ji deserved it more as he was more active. A tribute to Rajesh Khanna is more fitting.
