I think you're missing a lot of nuances. Isn't it OK and cool and expected to support and hail rapists if they belong to certain countries and communities?? How else are we supposed to prove ourselves as secular and progressive and liberal ??

It is sad that after decades of struggle, these loud mouths have sold the movement of feminism for petrol dollars, more effect is seen in India as you see this industry has investments from gulf
Other industries - Telugu, Tamil, Kannada are plain misogynistic, never had any expectations from them anyways
