yup...she went to the us for rehab!!

She got busy in IPL and those business courses at Harvard. She was going right when she did films like Heaven on Earth. She should have continued doing mature roles instead of doing item numbers or same pretty girl roles.

These actresses who get stuck in bubbly image always have it very hard for them later.

Rani was a better performer than Preity and started maintaining more mature image. But Preity still has the bubbly persona even offscreen.

Like her she had a nice career! But she attached herself to much with the Chopra's and Johars kinda movies with her image. They ditched her. Got buzy with ILP!

Three main things went wrong:

1. She was born a woman. 2. She was born with genes that kept her alive past the age society is programmed to see value in women (unless it's as a long suffering, self-sacrificing cook). 3. We all sit still for it.
