I totally agree 👏👏 Cudnt have put it in a better way that this. People rave about SRK's acting but he looked more constipated than someone having Asperger 😕 (and yus, we have people whose cousin or someone they know have that syndrome. It's not like that we dont know either) But there's a difference between acting and over doing it.Originally posted by: PhoeniXof_Hades
[Opinion] Acting was horrendous, especially Kajol's. If these kinds of acting were allowed in Hollywood, they would have all bagged the Razzie awards by now [/sarcasm]. Had the acting been a little better maybe I would have liked the movie, as I give too much importance to acting than anything else. Too pretentious, too melodramatic, and absolutely hollow and lacking any depth whatsoever. It seemed as though they were all trying to give their best, but falling short of it at every step. A good concept doesn't make a good movie. A movie has to be executed well enough, too, to be considered a great work of art. And it is in this department where MNIK falls short. What an idiotic, illogical, absolutely hilarious plot. 9/11 is a sensitive issue, and so is terrorism and Asperger syndrome. And what did KJo do? Make a mockery of them, just as he made mockery of love, friendship, family, humanity, religion, homosexuality, etc etc in his earlier works. His early works were at least good in the sense that they did not at least delve into such serious and controversial issues. Ugh.
Don't know how KJO gets away with all these emotional torture--- Chalo let's write a character with some incurable/ dreadful disease, Indian audiences are bound to show their pity-- what a shame!!!
