Bigg Boss Day 56: We'll miss Ragini

Ragini really wanted to leave the Bigg Boss house. It was quite evident from the last few days. While talking to Arshad, she said that she didn't want to kill her soul and stay back in the house and god seemed to have listened to her prayers. As soon as Arshad declared her name, Ragini threw up her hands in the air. She hugged Amit, and then Ravi. One by one, everyone came to say goodbye to Ragini. She walked away with her red bag, and threw a flying kiss towards the housemates as she reached the door. After eviction, as soon as she reached the stage, Ragini was welcomed by her anxious parents. Arshad asked her, how she got a chance to be in this show. Ragini told him that she was new to Mumbai and was looking for a job, when this incredible opportunity came up. She enjoyed herself in the house but had her share of ups and downs. About Aryan, she said she trusted him a lot but was let down. She also said that Amit was the most passionate person and that his passion reflected in his work as well. When Arshad asked her who had the best chance of winning, Ragini pointed towards Carol, who, she said, is not just a level headed person but a sensible woman as well. Amit wanted to celebrate the New Year night with Neeru : But his dreams dashed to the ground when Ragini's name was declared. There were five nominees this week. It included Roopali, Amit, Carol, Rakhi and Ragini. When the time had come for eviction, all the contestants were sitting on the couch, looking tense. Arshad asked Amit how it felt to be nominated for the first time. Amit said that he actually played games to get nominated because he missed Neeru a lot. He wanted to spend the New Year night with Neeru. Rakhi said she wanted to stay back in the house and give a tough fight to others. Roopali desperately wanted to leave because she is fed of being nominated each and every week. Arshad sent five envelopes to the nominees and asked each one of them to open it. Since it was Carol's birthday, he asked her to open the envelope first. The letter said that Carol is safe. We could see the smile of relief on her face. Next was Rakhi who was also safe. At last Roopali, Amit and Ragini were left. Building up the tension, Arshad insisted that Roopali and Amit get their bags from the room. Ragini wondered what was going on! As they came back with their bags, Arshad asked Roopali to open her envelope. It said she was safe. Roopali started crying when she heard that. Amit was eager to leave, but it seemed Ragini was the chosen one of the audience this time.

Ravi's new hair colour: Arshad didn't fail to notice Ravi's haphazardly-coloured hair. Ravi told him that everybody (Carol and Rakhi) has been using him as a tester. Firstly Rakhi coloured his hair in a lighter shade. When they realised it was not looking good enough, Carol joined in and used a brown shade to change the lighter shade. In the end, the poor guy's head was like a canvas, with strokes of different colours shining from every corner. Everybody teased Ravi, including Arshad.

Bigg Boss Day 55: Rakhi's seductive dance shocked Baba

Baba Sehgal is slowly but steadily getting into the circle of politics. His progress was quite visible today. We heard him telilng Amit that he was quite shocked the way Rakhi performed the seductive number with him yesterday. She got too close for comfort and was performing all cheap latkas and jhatkas. But he couldn't react, as it was a telly soap. He said that she is doing it all for publicity and nothing else. Bhai Baba, its time aap bhi kuch seekh le Rakhi se? Amit admits that he wanted to get nominated: Amit admitted to Carol and Roopali that he was desperate to get nominated this time. Exactly why he befriended Ragini and listened to her when Deepak left the house last week. A lot of people were irritated by his over concern about Ragini. That was quite shrewd Amit! Even Carol admitted that even she wanted to get nominated and was playing games to irritate others, so that they nominate her. Kya baat hain! On one hand there is Roopali who is nominated every week and doesn't want to leave, and on the other there is Amit who never got a single nomination, and is eager for one. But in the end Amit admitted that 'Ragini is a very nice girl.' Oh... really Amit? We even noticed a great chemistry inbetween them in the telly soap yesterday! What's going on? Roopali is too possesive about Carol: Is this a love triangle? When Bigg Boss asked the housemates to clean the garden and kitchen area today - Roopali, Carol and Rakhi looked quite enthusiatic. Roopali and Carol were cleaning the kitchen, when Rakhi also tried to help them and handed over the bucket to Carol. But hey kya? Roopali kyon rooth gayi? Roopali got upset as she felt Rakhi is trying to come in between her and Carol. And maybe create a rift inbetween them. She walked off and went back to her room. Rakhi could understand something is wrong but kept quiet. (She is getting wiser day by day it seems!). When Carol asked Roopali, she admitted that she is feeling irritated by Rakhi who is trying to poke her nose inbetween all the time. She said: 'I am possessive about you.' Bhai abhi yeh haal hain, to boyfriend ke saath kya karogi Roopali? Usko cupboard mein bandh rakhogi kya? Carol weds Rahul: Is that shocking? Not really. Because it is exactly what happened in the third and final part of the tele soap Hamara Sansaar, scripted and enacted by the housemates. As the story continued from yesterday's steamy seductive song sequences, and this time all the three wives confronted their husbands. They had found a pistol in Carol's cabinet and Roopali is suspicious that Ravi (her husband in the play) and Carol is planning to kill her. When the wives questioned their husbands about it, Ravi told them that they're doing a big mistake and that Carol thinks Roopali is a devi (baap re!). Then Ravi told them that Carol likes Bade Bhaiya' (Rahul Roy) who is thankfully and curiously unmarried. The girls looked quite happy and relieved. Meanwhile, Carol was packing her clothes and getting ready to leave. The girls ran to Carol and pleaded her not to go. Next, they dress her up as a dulhan. Rahul proposed Carol and she said yes in a typical 'bhartiya nari' style. It was a happy ending. Rahul got married to Carol and the family lived happily ever after. Cool! That was a superb completion of the saptahik karya. A melodious jawabi antakshari: It was nearly 12:15 am when Rahul was called in the confession room. Itni raat ko? Well it seems Bigg Boss is upset that the housemates are not waking up early in the morning. So, is this a kind of punishment? Possibly yes.

The task was fun although everybody looked quite tired and irritated. It is called 'Hum, tum aur jawabi.' The gang was broken into two teams - one girls and the other guys. They had to sing filmi songs as jawabs to the other team's songs. The guys start off with Ae meri zohrajabi, tumko maalum naheen. The girls responded with Main kya Karoon Raam Mujhe Buddha Mil Gaya. The nok jhok continued till the girls got struck with one song and Bigg Boss announced the end of the task. Everybody went to sleep after that.

Bigg Boss Day 54: Rakhi fails in her secret mission

Why is Rakhi sitting on the sofa with a gloomy face? Well, let's flashback and find out. This morning, Bigg Boss called her in the confession room and assigned her with a secret mission. According to the mission, she has to make each and every housemate laugh. The challenge is that it has to be a hearty laugh and she is not allowed to touch them. And also, she has to keep the task a secret. Quite tough, isn't it? The brave girl embarked on the mission. She called everybody on the living room and asked each one of them to sing a song. She said she would dance to the songs. Ravi started off with Kabhi Kabhi Mere Dil Mein. Rakhi and Ravi started enacting the song sequence. Arrey, yeh kya? Nobody is laughing. Only Rupali seems to have found it funny and gave a hearty laugh. Arre, Rakhi to nirash ho gai! Well, in her last attempt Rakhi started to play merry-go-round with Carol and Rahul. She made both of them laugh aloud. But there's a mistake dear, you are not allowed to touch anybody. The poor girl was called in the confession room told that she had failed in her mission. Kya Rakhi, we didn't expect this from you! Carol likes Rakhi now Today, we heard Carol singing a different tune in the confession room. She told Bigg Boss that she has started liking Rakhi now. She pointed towards the incident when Rakhi apologised to Amit about the Greetings Card she gave to him as Neeru's gift. Amit forgave her and admitted that she only tried to calm him down. Carol said : 'I respect her now.' Will Rahul's intuition prove to be true? Rahul Roy is known in the house for his 'Babaism.' He claims that by Tuesday, his intuition tells him who will be evicted this week. Bigg Boss called Rahul in the confession room and asked him who he thinks will be evicted this week. Rahul said it would be a girl -- either Rupali or Rakhi. Well, let's see if Rahul is right. If he is then we'll definitely start calling him the 'real baba', and possibly set up an ashram in the Bigg Boss house. It will be fun, nah? Girls seduce guys in the house It was time for the telly soap again. The housemates discussed the storyline and rehearsed the sequences the entire day. By afternoon, they were practicing the sequences. According to the script, the girls would seduce their husbands to win them back from the beautiful actress, played by a slender Carol. Next, Rakhi walked up to Baba (playing her husband) and asked him to spend some time with her. Baba refused. At this, Rakhi promptly started putting off her sari. Thankfully, she was wearing a jeans and a sexy top inside. She started a seductive song 'Na jao saiyan, chudake baiyan, kasam tumhari main ro padungi.' Baba looks quite impressed, kyon Rakhi? Amit and Ragini looked quite cute as a couple. Is Neeru listening? The scene began with Ragini trying to seduce Amit with her sweet dialogues while Amit looked more interested in watching TV. Ragini crooned: 'You love me, na?' A hassled Amit responded, 'Tumhari jo aankhein hain na, man karta hain....man karta hain unhe nooch daalu!' The sweet nok-jhook had us in splits. Next, it was the turn of Rupali and Ravi. Rupali tried to seduce him and broke into the popular song 'Kaante nahin kat te yeh din, yeh raat'. Ravi asked her to shut up and tried to leave. She continued with another seductive number: 'Husn ke, lankhon rang, kaun sa rang dekhoge.' Rahul, who is playing the serious elder brother, is confused and upset. What is going on in this house, he shouted. In the end, Carol spoke to Rahul and told him that she had decided to leave as she didn't want to be the cause of trouble in the house.

Aao mooh meetha karein Ab yeh kaun sa naya game hain? Nearly at 10:15 p.m. at night Bigg Boss called Amit in the confession room and gave him the task called Mooh Meetha Karo. Two teams were made. One person from each team would have to be the target of a sponge full of chocolate sauce and whipped cream. Rahul was the first target who was smeared with cream by Carol, Ravi and Rupali. Amit was the second and the luckier one, as Ragini, Rakhi and Rahul proved to be poor in their aim. Ravi's team won this silly but funny game!

Bigg Boss Day 53: Another masaledar saas-bahu serial

Day 53 in the Bigg Boss house began with another interesting saptahik karya. This time Bigg Boss instructed the housemates to script and enact three episodes of a saas-bahu serial. Roopali, Ravi and Rahul started preparing the storyline in the blue room. Rakhi also wanted to give her inputs, but the others sidelined her. She threw a tantrum saying she wanted to play the kaamwali bai. Everybody ignored her and the poor girl had to walk out of the room. Is Ragini the new crybaby?: Her face was streaked with tears as she told Bigg Boss in the confession room that she wanted to leave the house. Her tears just wouldn't stop. She said that all the genuine people had been thrown out of the house. Those who acted all the time have stayed back. That includes you, doesn't it Ragini? One by one Carol, Amit and Rakhi visited the confession room with their sob stories. Carol told Bigg Boss that she was ready to leave now. Amit said that everybody was out with their swords because the fight for survival was fierce. Even Rakhi complained that everybody was playing hardcore games now. Lover boy Amit finally receives gifts: We're aware of Amit's obsession with his girl friend Neeru. We've seen him dancing with her photograph. We've seen him waiting for her letters. We've seen him cry for her. Amit was very nervous last week when Neeru didn't send any message for him. Finally, he received a box full of gifts from Neeru. Amit took the box into his room and opened it. There were chocolates, a scrapbook filled with notes, photographs and pages from her diary. Amit became very emotional as he took out the things one by one. He started crying and took the box outside the house. He wanted to be alone while reading the notes. Hamara Sansar, the Bigg Boss TV soap: The first episode of the saas-bahu serial was about to begin. At 9 p.m. the housemates discovered three blackboards lying in the storeroom. They had the name of the serial, Hamara Sansar, but what was the story? The story was about a joint family with three brothers. Rahul, Ravi and Amit played the three brothers. Rahul was the eldest one and Amit the youngest one. Roopali, Ragini and Rakhi played the roles of their wives. Roopali was Ravi's wife, Rakhi was Rahul's wife and Ragini was Amit's wife.

Carol played an actress who visits their house to learn about Indian culture. The brothers were quite excited for obvious reasons. But the bahus were very angry. The first episode began with the bahus cribbing about the new guest in the house. Then the story moved on to strained family relationships. Elder brother Ravi slaps Amit because he misbehaved with him. Ragini, Amit's wife, tries to console him but he shouts at her. Ragini ran into the bedroom crying and Amit followed her to try and calm her down. The couple looked quite cute together.

Bigg Boss Days 51 & 52: Bigg Boss ke ghar mein shaadi

Who is getting married in the house? Is Carol marrying Ravi? Nah, it was the wedding of Rakhi's teddy bear (Gudda) and Ragini's bunny (Guddi). The two dolls seem to have fallen in love and the housemates decided to get them married. It was a funny wedding with Rakhi, the ladke ki amma dressed up for the occasion in a maroon sari, loosely tied around her waist in village belle style. Everybody was dressed up in traditional attire. The girls looked very enthusiastic about the wedding. But who will be the priest? Arre ghar mein Baba hain na? Baba Sehgal was playing the lalchi priest who kept asking the ladke ki ma for dakshina. He chanted the holy mantra "Lakdi ki kaathi, kaathi pe ghoda, ghode ki dum pe jo mara hathoda." The housemates were in splits as Baba kept chanting the funny mantra. The wedding ceremony ended with ladke ki ma beating up the priest for being too lalchi for money. The dreadful day is back: It was nomination day again. It was 8 a.m. and the wake-up song was played: Chura liya hain tumne jo dil ko. But why was Bigg Boss playing a romantic number? That was because Amit's girlfriend had requested the song to be played for Amit. Amit looked shy and extremely happy. What a song to begin the day with! But little did Amit know that a few moments later he had to face the wrath of the housemates. Ravi nominates Carol as revenge: It was time for nominations. Baba was the first candidate to be called inside the confession room. He nominated Ragini, although he said he was very fond of her. But she was very sentimental, rude and broke down often. His second choice was Rakhi who he said was irritating and camera conscious. She acted before the camera. Carol chose Rakhi and Baba Sehgal. Rakhi was not nice to her and she did not know much about Baba Sehgal. Roopali, of course, chose Ragini and Rahul. The reason she said was that Ragini was the cause of trouble between Ravi and all the housemates and Rahul was always aloof from the rest of the gang. Amit nominated Ragini and Rakhi. He chose Ragini because it was getting tough for her to stay in the house. He seemed to be extremely angry with Rakhi and her lies. Ragini nominated Roopali because she was fake and Carol because she always took Roopali's side. Ravi nominated Carol this week. This proved how hurt he was when Carol nominated his name last week after a fight over a trivial issue. He openly told Bigg Boss that last week she had nominated him and it was unfair on her part, the reason why he was nominating her. He picked Amit next and said he was extremely rude and badtameez. Rakhi chose Carol because she bothered her a lot and her second choice was Roopali. Roopali had been very mean and a real chugalkhor. Rahul nominated Roopali because she created tension in the house and Amit, who had been aloof from the rest for the last two days. Amit nominated for the first time: The final nominations came as a shock for everyone. The first nominee was Ragini, who smiled at the camera as soon as Bigg Boss announced her name. Next was Carol. The third nominee was (yawn) Roopali. He fourth was Rakhi, who was very upset and tried to hide behind a sofa out of anger. And the fifth was—guess who? It was the angry young man of the house, Amit. Amit was nominated for the first time. He looked quite happy with the nominations as if he was waiting for it. Kyon Amit, is baar beghar hona hain kya? Snowfall and the Christmas party: On the 52nd day at 1:30 p.m., Bigg Boss called Rahul into the confession room and gave him another task. According to the new task all the housemates would have to decorate the garden area for the Christmas party. How exciting! Everybody went into the store to collect the colourful decorations. Carol was the most enthusiastic. They decorated the Christmas tree and the entire area with coloured paper. At 3:30 p.m., Carol was called into the confession room. Bigg Boss gave her a huge box filled with gifts from her family and asked her to open it in the garden area in front of everyone. The box was filled with chocolate boxes, showpieces and books in Hindi.

It was Christmas eve. All the housemates were dressed up for the midnight party. Carol looked elegant in a white satin evening gown. Amit was the most handsome with gelled hair. The garden area looked very enchanting with artificial snow falling all over the place. Christmas carols were played in the backdrop. Everybody danced to the songs and looked extremely pleased with the preparations. Although Carol looked a little lost… as if her heart were somewhere else. The poor girl must be missing her family.

A week full of naach-gaana

Day 46: Carol ran to the dance floor when her song More piya gaye Rangoon started to play. The poor girl, who has never danced in her life, was caught trying hard to match her steps with Ravi. They created quite a scene for the audiences to savour. Day 47: Baba Sehgal, the new wild card entry into the house, is keeping everybody entertained with his rap songs. All the housemates sat with him, clapping and swinging to his songs like Jugni mast kalandar. It seemed Ravi enjoyed the sessions the most. Day 48: The task 'Nachte Raho' was a lot of fun because we caught the celebrities in many awkward situations. This time the victim was Rakhi who was in her towel when her song started to play. She ran with her bathrobe in hand when Rahul joined her on the dance floor. Day 50—Who will be evicted?: The day began with the song Kul ka abhiman hain song from the serial Kulvadhu. It was time for yet another eviction. Ravi made tea for everybody as Deepak sat beside him waiting for his cup. Who will be evicted today, chai pilane wala ya chai peene wala? All the three nominees began packing their clothes. Roopali seemed quite sure it was her turn. Ragini breaks into tears: Deepak was evicted. He hugged everybody, consoled Ragini and walked out with his bag. Ragini came back to her room, went inside the dressing area and cried aloud. Everybody in the house was worried about her. The poor girl looked quite scared and confused about how to deal with her detractors now. Carol and Roopali decided to behave nicely to her so that she did not feel lonely. Next, Ragini went to Amit and spoke to him about her fears. She told him that if, next time, Ravi went out of the house then Roopali would eat her up alive! Wow, is Roopali capable of doing that? She also said that she was scared of this stupid game now. Amit promised her that he would guard her like a sister from now onwards. How sweet Amit, this must be the reason why he has never nominated till date! Ragini can't stand the sight of Roopali: Ragini has found a friend in Amit. She sat with him on his bed and bitched about Roopali. She said that Roopali was trying to be nice to her now and it was irritating her. What was she trying to prove? That Ragini is the khadus woman and she is the nice one?

Is it Carol inside the bag?: Roopali was unpacking her bag yet again. She seemed to be getting used to it now. But yeh kya? What was Carol up to? As Roopali emptied her bag, Carol sat inside it. She fit perfectly inside it and Roopali locked her in. Whew! That was quite a scene. Everybody came into the pink room to take a look at the bag with Carol inside it. Roopali said that next time she would carry Carol along with her.

A military takeover of Bigg Boss house?
What are these soldiers doing in the Bigg Boss house? Don't get shocked, this is just the new task assigned to the housemates, who have been ordered to live like soldiers in the house. Baba Sehgal is leading the team as General Baba and Roopali as Colonel Roopali.
During the day, we also caught Carol pouring her heart out to Rahul. A brand new jodi? Nah, actually Carol has been nominated once again this week and was looking for a shoulder to cry on. An emotional Carol told Rahul that her parents don't like her profession (modelling), but they have sent her in the Bigg Boss house, so that she becomes a stronger person. That surely sounds nice, Carol!
As for the India's latest Colonel, Roopali, she seems to have found a new 'Gossip partner' in Amit. According to Roopali, Rakhi is here on a revenge mission and Ravi is madly in love with Carol

Boss, give me a chance

Even though the wild card entries have happened, Avinash Wadhwan (remember him?) is expecting some sort of a miracle to take him on the show.

The actor is a huge fan of the reality show and wants to take part in it to spend time with his friends. "I have worked with Rahul before, and know Rupali quite well. Ravi, too, has worked with me in a Bhojpuri film. I want to join the show and spend time with them." The actor calls it a sort of therapy to detach himself from the world and become a participant.

"I would love to experience the feeling of living without any connection from anyone for some time." Detach therapy or did you mean I-too-want some-limelight therapy, Avinash?

Is Anuraag Pandey the Bigg Boss?

Item girl Rakhi Sawant fell in love the very first day when she heard this voice of Bigg Boss at the Bigg Boss home. Her guess was that it is RJ Anurag Pandey's voice. Since then every time Bigg Boss orders the participants or scolds them, everybody following the show believe that the faceless voice of Bigg Boss is that of Anurag Pandey.

Now, who is Anuraag Pandey?
Anuraag Pandey is an RJ with RED FM. Here are some of his well known lines. "Anuraag ke raag, Anuraag Pande ke sath". Pandey has a huge female fan following. When Indya.com quizzed him on Bigg Boss, this is what he had to say.

"I am not supposed to comment on this--if it is my voice or not-- but I am glad to hear this guessing every where I go these days. It seems I also have a fan following".

Anuraag is a big Rakhee Sawant fan. "I love to see her dancing on an item number. She is a good dancer."

Anurag 32, is a Science graduated from D.A.V. college Indore, an NCC cadet with a certificate from CHM Rank. He is also brown Belt Tai-Kwando.

Talking about his initial days in radio, Anurag says, "I had to do a lot of struggle. As I am from Indore, I really had a bad Hindi accent. I had to work hard to make it proper.

"To be a good RJ I have had to read all types of subjects for last 6 years. I had read whatever I got. Because you never knew just who you to interview all of a sudden. RJ has to have 1000 per cent extra I.Q than normal persons. From CEO to Auto rickshaw driver we speak to every one. We should be able to relate to every person.

"I got chance in RED. FM to bajao everyone. Two years back the punch line was made into bajate raho. It matched my attitude. Fom then I am busy bajate rahoing.

"Rakhi has come to my show once and we know each other since then. I am glad she felt that it is my
voice but I can't conform as I am not suppose to do She is a very good performer even I am her fan."

"I have a film to release in future where I am playing an RJ'S roll with Rajpal Yadav. If anyone is interested in pulling my leg he is always welcome--it's a part of life."

Sony TV refuses to reveal the man with the voice over. So the suspense still continues. Just who is Bigg Boss?

'I still don't know whether Rupali is smart or dumb'

Ragini Shetty aka Abhijatha Umesh says Rupali Ganguly is the most cunning person in Big Boss' house

Ragini Shetty aka Abhijatha Umesh was voted out of Sony's Bigg Boss this week, however, she sounds more relieved than disappointed. Ragini started out as an impostor, when she took up a fictitious name and identity to gain win over the contestants. But her identity was revealed in the show later. "Many of the contestants had seen the original show and knew that there is a likelihood of an impostor. What made it difficult was that I was nothing like the other actors. While most of the girls craved for attention, my body language was absolutely different. That's why some people on the show suspected me," she laughs. Speaking about the contestants in the house she says, "Of all the people there Kashmera Shah was the only who was honest. That's why people didn't like her. She spoke the truth while everyone else is pretending to be someone they are not," she says. Ragini says that of all the people in the house she was friendly only with Kashmera and Deepak Tijori.
And the only person who Ragini has not been able to understand is Rupali Ganguly. "She is a very good actor," laughs Ragini adding, "I still don't know whether she is dumb or smart."
