Guys I am doing to analyze the coming few episodes with this title only as Maya is placing the dice with perfect throws. And I will be analyzing each of these throws on how Maya's action gets the perfect reactions from everywhere. So welcome to the game of dice series of my posts. If you want I can make this an analysis thread itself. If you want an indexed analysis thread along with your comments please put like wise. If majority of my regular readers think I should go with a single thread for game of dice I will do it
Maya act 1: So what happened today. In part 1 of the game of dice we see a woman in front of the society tells about her dark past, then glorifies her father telling he has changed. She tells she was wrong about her father. She didnt understand he has changed. By keeping her mother away from her father she was actually denying her mother her love. She wanted to share with everyone the happiness of once again united with her family.
Reactions: Vandana and Saanjh perfectly flat. They believe the act. Saanjh says the girl who is willing to forgive her father who has done so much to her is perfect life partner for Arjun. Vandana also is genuinely happy, so is Arjun and Jhanvi. Ashwin understand the game of dice, but is powerless to defend it at that point.
Neutral: Ayan the only person in the crowd who looks at the whole funda as if something is not right.
Result : Maya creates the perfect image of a daughter in front of the society. You can say the stereotype daughter the society love to see
Maya act 2: The act 2 happens in private. When Arjun goes to Maya he sees the girl with fear. Today's fear of Maya is manipulated. She is not afraid of Ashwin today. But she plays the fear part perfectly asking him what she will do if he goes
Reaction: Arjun gives her a reaction she expected. He goes in front of the media announces their wedding and kneel down in front of everyone asking her permission.
Result : In front of the society she is a perfect lady who is genuinely surprised by the sudden proposal. She plays the emotions perfectly of a woman who is slightly embarassed, surprised when a man does public proposal. In front of the world Arjun proposed her, it is his decision to marry her in 7 days. Perfect role play as per the expectation of society
Maya act 3- Her hug for Saanjh. Then the private talk with Saanjh telling if she was in Saanjh's place she would have never tolerated another woman. Then a thinly veiled threat convo of how she will not come to dusky's place and she will expect dusky to remain in her place
Reaction: Saanjh just moves with Maya
Result: Maya shows everyone she is perfect for Arjun and she gives importance to his relations
Maya act 4: Arjun wants to kiss, Maya stops
Reaction: Arjun keeps his limits
Result : In front of her man she keeps the image of a woman who knows her limits, respects traditions and of course sanskaari. ( In real sense I dont think Maya had any problem with the kiss)

Script is all that matters to me and my analysis is based on the script and direction alone. Character bashing is not allowed in this thread. Two more things I want to put to those visiting this thread. I dont know black and white. I only know grey and I see everything in grey. Second I might draw parallels with Ramayan or MB now and then to analyze certain situations. If you are not comfortable discussing those aspects or reading those aspects this thread is not for you
