A lot of what maya does is based on what happened in her past. her father has a history of mistresses therefore she wants the girl who loves her fiance, in front of eyes all the time. like I said, she is paranoid. as of now, she does not trust anyone but herself.

I love the way keeps quiet and never reveals her plans, her mind. This is why she is gaining upper hand with ashwin as well as saanjh today.
When saanjh in anger scolds her she keeps quiet. Not a word of arguement or defence. The way she is making saanjh react, soon Arjun will start doubting saanjh.
And now this janam patri thing.. Lets see how maya plays this situation in her favour..

Your Act 1 analysis is bang on. I didn't see it that way ..but you are right. Maya's silence meant she has already started calculating her move to cover up her weakness & the result is Maya has an upper hand as she has not yet revealed her plan.

Saanjh's selfless act is falling apart at times... cuz... subconsciously she still wants Arjun to be hers & always reacts when only she finds fault with Maya. Her bhari bharkam dialogues on moving on ... having a new life .. new beginning... new aims in life is total faltu as she still is the same Saanjh obsessed with Arjun . She understood Maya's intentions all right but her way of dealing with it is completely wrong . Also I feel like Maya she too doesn't consider Maya as her friend but is doing the mahan banne ka act like meri khushi tumhari khushi natak. 😆
Vandana has now become quiet cool .. & has accepted Arjun's choice. Both Vandana & Suman has now stopped calling Maya chudail 😆
In the pre cap I saw Saanjh eavesdropping on ArYa conversation meaning she's already started watching Maya & hence will believe Ashwin so easily.

The best thing about this show is cvs have kept options open for any character to turn black .. cuz there are grey shades in almost all of them . Not that I mean Saanjh will turn black .. but also not entirely omittable . Even Prem .. his silence sometimes makes me think . Except for his misery seeing his daughter .. you cannot read him much. The only characters who have no chance of being grey are Jhanvi suman & Vandana...

Maya's move reg exposing Ashwin to the media was good. She has ensured that he wouldn't try another bridge stunt.

Maya manipulating with reg to Saanjh's job was unfair to Saanjh. But Maya played a nice game by saying that it would be nice if Arjun and Saanjh are working together, etc. And Arjun seriously believes that Maya's decision was an unbiased, professional one... the same way he believed that his own promotion was. No wonder he is a duffer.

But offering saanjh a job is it a good thing, coz even though her motive to watch out saanjh and arjun but with saanjh around maya is giving chance for her to see her other side as well ... look at the precap I think this is the first time she seeing maya the business tycoon who usually composed panicking and being not stable with arjun ... from there saanjh will go and find out more ...

Is arjun that blind that he cant see whats going on ... from his promotion to saanjh getting job its abt want maya wants ...



In really looking forward to see maya in wedding attire/ traditional attire ... i think in the show she never wore saree etc ...

Jennifer and Rajesh ji play off eachother very well, they just do so well together and of course jen is fantastic. when Ashwin mentions his leg, you could almost see the wheels in maya's head turning- her expressions were spot on.

@Unique Saanjh is theory no action. If she has to play with Maya she has to accept the position given by Maya and move her cards observing Maya. Eavesdropping gives half info, not full info. If she goes with Ashwin with half info things are really go ugly. Prem is silent but I am sure he will do something finally to protect his daughter from Arjun mania. He will go extreme for that. Vandana has become typical mom who wants a grand wedding now. Suman has accepted the reality. But since Saanjh hasnt things are not going to be easy for them
