Sara Khan marries Krish Pathak in ceremony blending 'Saat Phere' and 'Nikaah' traditions

Television actress Sara Khan, widely known for shows like Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai, Preet Se Bandhi Ye Dori Ram Milaayi Jodi, and Sasural Simar Ka, has married Krish Pathak, son of Sunil Lahri, in a celebration that embraced both Hindu and Islamic traditions. Their union included Saat Phere as well as Nikaah, reflecting their interfaith marriage.

Sara shared glimpses of the wedding on Instagram, posting pictures with the caption, "QUBOOL HAI se SAAT PHERE tak… Our love wrote its own script, and both our worlds said yes KriSa." The actress also posted Instagram Stories showing her bridal look, a red lehenga with gold zari work, paired with traditional gold jewellery, while Krish wore a matching red sherwani.

The couple’s wedding festivities saw the presence of several TV personalities, including Mrinal Navell, Deepshikha Nagpal, Tanaaz, and Sheen Savita Dass. Earlier ceremonies, such as the haldi, had already drawn attention on social media. Videos from the pre-wedding events showed the couple dancing with friends, with Sara dressed in a bright yellow lehenga and floral accessories.

Sara and Krish’s relationship began after meeting on a dating app about a year ago. They had their court marriage on October 6 before the larger ceremonial celebrations. Sharing images from the court ceremony, Sara wrote, "Sealed Together. Two faiths. One Script. Infinite Love… The signatures are sealed. ‘Qubool Hai’ Se ‘Saat Phere’ tak, the vows await this DECEMBER - Two hearts, Two cultures, One Forever." Following the court wedding, Sara addressed social media negativity regarding their interfaith union.

Krish Pathak is the son of Sunil Lahri, famous for playing Lakshman in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan. This marks Sara Khan’s second marriage; she was previously married to actor Ali Merchant in a televised Islamic wedding on Bigg Boss 4 in 2010. The couple parted ways a year later, in 2011.
