Maya's fear towards Ashwin is 100% genuine... she is fighting her fear. After she announced about Ashwin and accepting him, she thought of outcomes like having to face Ashwin everyday in her life is what made her a bit weak and scared her.

With Arjun, Maya gets the strenght to face Ashwin. Remember in the initial episodes how Maya used to get Scarred of Ashwin just by his footsteps? But then after Arjun had entered her life and had saved her once from Ashwin, she gained strength to face Ashwin in the mall just by seeing Arjun from a distance... but then even after that incident there did come few other scenes of Maya again becoming weak and feared Ashwin.

The thing is Ashwin is the guy who had tortured her in her childhood so its very difficult to forget all that and face that abusive person. Its like an on and off thing... sometimes you can bravely face that person, sometimes you feel scared and vulnerable when the brain thinks and remembers negative stuff.

Regarding Arjun announcing marriage, it was not Maya's plan. How sure was Maya that Arjun will do exactly what she wanted? And that too marriage announcement within 7 days? How much ever one manipulates the thing is one can never penetrate in someone's mind and make them do things exactly the same way as the manipulator wants.

This marriage is a sudden decision taken by Arjun, it was never in Maya's mind.

And yes that scene and dialogues of Maya to Saanjh was not that bad. I felt Saanjh deserved that. Lol pls don't misunderstand me but off lately Saanjh has been going on about how she is giving her khushiyaan and kismet to Maya. Even in today's episode she said to Maya infront of all "tumhe Meri Saari Khushiyaan miljaye" lol what does Saanjh mean Seriously? Arjun is her best friend so she owns him and has him in her kismet? This kind of thought is not a right one and its like she is self pitying herself with a fake sense of fake sacrifice. Its good Maya gave her a dose of her own medicine. Because no normal girl in Maya's place would tolerate this kind of shit aur yeh to phir bhi Maya hai. LOL

Haven't watched the episode yet. I loved reading about how Maya is manipulating everyone into making them do what exactly she wants. I am really curious to see what she is up to next and when will all the manipulations start back firing. This is an interesting story indeed.

@pom Maya is not a vamp, I dont want her to be. If she becomes one then the beauty of the story is gone. It is not the story I signed up for anyways. Yes Maya need not have done this. But then as you rightly said she doesnt know any other way as this is the way that has yielded results. And yes I too want Maya to lose before it is late

Maya is afraid of ashwin if arjun is not there, he is her shield and that is what her look says-"you cannot scare me now." otherwise, she is still very much afraid of him, she won't fake that. her words to saanjh were fine in my opinion, she subtly told her stay within her limits- which I thought was good because lines need to be drawn if the girl who loves my fiance is in our lives. I guess maya realized janvi is a lost cause, she will not let go ashwin so better to let ashwin in their lives so she can keep an eye on them. otherwise ashwin will play janvi like a flute, which is not good for her or her mother. but in order to do that, she needs arjun in her life as well so she played such a big game to secure both herself and her mother. was it wrong? yes but not entirely terrible and no saanjh and vandana was not the target, they fell into it but the real target was ashwin so he stays within limits, and janvi stays with her. well played, I must say. the show becomes much more interesting when maya takes center stage.

Yes pom Jhanvi is a lost cause, instead of caging her it is better to live her with Ashwin and move on. I dont think she targetted Vandana or Saanjh. Saanjh yes I had no objections to the way she talked with Saanjh. Because any girl would need that assurance. Also Maya has a history of her father roaming with mistress.

And I am sure beyond the literal meaning Maya is going to understand what that line means. Yes Maya befriends Saanjh and Saanjh accepts it. That means they will remain friends and a friend cannot break another friend's home. I also agree that if Arjun had loved Saanjh then Maya is wrong as she snatches Arjun from her, but here Arjun doesnt have that feeling for Saanjh she cleared that aspect and she has the right to pursue her feeling with a single man. It might not be the perfect way, but it is not wrong also. It is somewhere in between. She was just being human there.

Yes aditi, but I feel not only Maya all the characters will emerge more mature after the tough journey.

that is how i would like the story to progress- for maya to lose then win so she can become a better person. that is the only way, explaining or rationalizing won't work.
