It is not that Vandana does not know what Ashwin did to Maya in her childhood. Maya has told that in the press conference what Ashwin did to her. But she chose to go by Ashwin's words only to stop the wedding. If she has got any issues, she could have called Arjun & Maya to sort it out. As a good elder it is her duty to guide the children. It is not necessary to stop the wedding.

Vandana is getting more annoying & irritating. She herself was staying with Arjun's father after his mother passed away. when the society began to gossip about her, Arjun's dad married her. But the same lady is causing another woman to get disgraced by forcefully pulling the groom from the mandap. Arjun had no other choice when she said that he will see her dead if he does not come.

Maya's reaction was natural when Arjun got up from the mandap. Any bride would have reacted that way.

But Arjun has told Vandana off. He stood for his love saying that Maya's past can only bring him closer to her. He has nailed it today.

-Its funny how all this drama is going on at the wedding, imagine how clueless will the guest be... 😆

-I guess everyone was right in their own way... But i loved how Arjun stood my Maya... Even though he left her coz of no choice, he defended her... And yes he cares for her... This is not the first time, the hospital scene, Maya revealing her story bits, his care is def there for her...

-Vandana was not moved by Maya's tears. At times when you have already set perception or thinks that person is like that... its very difficult for them to accept vice versa or change it... Like someone said she had seen Maya's side and it makes her feel scared by connecting the dots... It will be interesting to see the duo after the marriage ...

-I think the murder blame will be on Maya ... Suspect will include Arjun, Jhanvi, etc... The bar thing & Jhanvi with the gun is def to make them stronger as a suspect later on... The real murderer could be someone new as well connected to Maya's past

-The White Car- I think it was Maya's work.. She send someone to divert vandana / kill her mayb 😆... Coz she seemed confident Vandana wont come for the wedding.. But her plan backfire ...

Vandana is d biggest disappointment...I thought she will be supporting link to ArYa but seems like she is here for saas-bahu drama...she is so insensitive to say d least...for GOD's sake Maya publicly announced that what Ashwin was as a father...still she had no sympathy for her...I think Saanjh will see it to that ArYa wedding hapens becoz she is convinced that Ashwin is a creep nd Maya is genuine...Its that she is still not completely out of her feelings for Arjun...or otherwise i am liking her character sketch...And Precap is thrilling.,I am in for all d thrill...

@ae I completely agree you believe what you see. Even court demands visual proof and not hearsay.

And if it was any other woman in Vandana's place yesterday, I might have supported her. But not Vandana. Because she is a woman who knows what you see is may not be the truth.

She has experienced that. Whole life she was trying to tell Arjun what is seen is not truth as far as hers and his dad's relation goes.

If you are a person who knows what is seen is not truth, you will analyze, you will show maturity if you had learned something from your experience.

That's why hypocrisy comes in. You expect other to understand you, but you cant understand another person. She was crying her sob story to Saanjh how Arjun doesnt understand, how Arjun was telling she trapped his father based on what society was telling. Today didnt she do the same. She listened to a man who kidnapped her, whom she pushed for self defense and stopped a marriage.

A person's true worth comes in during testing times. Where he or she stands. Whether with society and its rules or whether what is right. Here neither Vandana nor Arjun is completely right. Because Arjun also doesnt know Maya's past completely and he is taking a stand emotionally. I am not telling he should not support her, but then in such issues talk is needed.

My hope is in Saanjh and the seventh vow which she tells in the promo shows her maturity. Shows the decision she is able to take considering all parameters.

Do you guys think that there is still a fair chance that Arjun might turn grey in the future, in terms of changing/becoming materialistic because of wealth and the lavish lifestyle that being the MD and owner of Fashion and the City will bring?

Loved the episode and ur analysis is as usual beautiful..

Maya -

I really felt bad for Maya yday, apart from yesterday, I had felt for her like this when Arjun had called her to godown n she was crying like a baby before Jhanvi.

Reposing faith in Genesha n her luv for Arjun she decided to move on leaving behind her past(after Arjun told her dat he isn't interested to hear abt it) ... She was behaving normally n suddenly Vandana storms in breaks the marriage.. the beauty was that Vandana was disgusted with Maya's cries but Maya not even once blamed Vandana, (even after seeing her plotting with Saanjh abt breaking marriage) but thinks just abt Ashwin. And this girl is called "pagal" or "evil"

Maya goes to Ganesh n tells that wasn't her worship true enough? This tells us why she became that person from whom Vandana wants to save her son.. she tries her level best to improve but situations are as such that she takes up the knife. Loved that strong look of Maya to Ganesh idol , Jenny nailed it 👏

Arjun, Jhanvi-

I was actually hoping that he will remain in Maya's side n he didn't disappoint me.. I loved that he showed the mirror to Vandana n told her she believes in Ashwin n not Maya after knowing that he's an abusive hubby n dad.

And yes Arjun truly luvs Maya, he's a lil selfish but his luv for Maya is beyhadh...

Jhanvi 's decision was emotional one but still I liked her, atleast she's is being a mother.

I agree with aekiel on Vandana, she has seen the "evil" Maya and not the Maya in the tea stall or the one in terrace, the one who saved Arjun .

And Arjun hasn't cleared things before her.. whenever she talked abt kundali etc, he has given an "I don't care attitude"

But can we deny that she's selfish? She didn't even think twice abt a mentally ill Maya, how the broken marriage will effect her? Instead of listening to Ashwin, why didn't she hear the story from Maya's side too?

She's perfectly a sanctimonious character. And if Maya is grey, Saanjh is grey, Arjun is grey, even Vandana is grey.. Grey doesn't mean "evil" .. From her pov, she's right but we can't say that her pov is always right.

@aditi sometimes even if a person wants to improve or change society with its stereotype views dont allow it. As you are put in a brand. As far as a woman goes she has to be doormat. never matter she pretends to be a doormat and can be selfish in her actions.

A wife and mother can manipulate and get away with it. The way we see the MILs of many shows and also the vamps. If you wear a saree you become sanskaari doesnt matter your hobby is eavesdropping, planning and plotting 😆😆

You know post marriage I stopped wearing jeans and wear sarees for traditional occasion and salwar with duppatta only. Do you know why. That attire will ensure people hear me out 😆😆 and allow their daughters to study. After study and job the equation will be different. 😆😆.

I learned you can use illusion of stereotype to give wings to some girl's dream. When people know what has happened it will be far too late.

When these planning and plotting woman use sanskaari tag, why shouldnt we use it to do something better 😆😆

yes grey is not evil. I guess everyone needs to know that. It is not the action which is right or wrong, but the intend. And yesterday intend of Vandana was not completely selfless

@Drift Arjun can get lost in Maya of wealth and power for sometime.

This episode's surprise package was Arjun for sure.Because he was the one who spoke sensibly.He was the sole voice of reason.He doesn't care what Maya's past was and above all he understood why Maya did that act.He was sensible and sensitive as well.He understood what Maya had to suffer.That increased my respect for Arjun.The last scene in which Arjun gets furious while thinking about what Ashwin had done to Maya was powerful.He wasn't angry about anything else.But he was angry that the woman whom he loved had to undergo so much pain and suffering.

And for the first time I was really impressed by Kushal's acting.

Vandana,Vandana,Vandana!!! What can I say about this woman?? She disgusts me at this point.I understand that she wishes to protect her son.But from whom?? Is Maya a monster who will eat your son up?? If Arjun can be sensitive enough to understand Maya then why can't Vandana do the same?? She is completely blind in her blatant prejudice towards Maya.Her pre conceived notion that Maya is not good for Arjun is dominating her psyche.She even lacks the basic sympathy which any human being would have.For me Vandana represents the rigid society who are prejudiced towards people.The society is blind.They cannot see anything beyond themselves and their supposed standard.

Maya.My heart went out for her.I am firm to my stand.I refuse to believe that this girl is pagal or evil.All Maya ever wanted was love and acceptance.But she got shunned instead.What was her fault??Yes she is dominating,possesive and manipulative at times.But aren't all the human beings like that?Then why should Maya and people like her be treated in this manner.She has faith in her love and faith in God.How can such a person be evil?? I don't understand.Truly Jenny nailed that scene with her powerful acting.👏

Regarding Saanjh's sacrifice,first of all I don't think that it's a sacrifice.Because Arjun was not her love to sacrifice in the first place.For me this symbolises the fact that Saanjh is finally letting go of her attachment or moh towards Arjun.All the scriptures tell us that Moh is the cause of sorrow.By letting go of her attachment once and for all,Saanjh is freeing herself.This act of hers is not necessary for Arjun but it's important for Saanjh herself.She will become free from the bonds of attachment and that will help her move on and find happiness.And if she becomes instrumental in getting Arjun married to Maya then she will fulfill her duty as a true friend.

@Andromeda beautiful post I would say. You covered everything. What irritates more is that Vandana went against rigid society and now talking about sticking to it 😆😆. Height of hypocrisy. It is like parents who have had love marriage, expect their kids to have arranged marriage. In a flash of second their journey is forgotten. Also the problem is that because they did rebellion they cannot trust anyone😆😆 as who knows that person can also do the same thing you did right.

That's why it is said the best policeman will be the best robber. Only a policeman who has been a robber himself or herself knows what all robbers can do 😆😆. Vandana is like that. In Maya somewhere she sees her own reflection 😆😆

Coming to Saanjh sacrifice. Sacrifice wont give Saanjh peace. Because sacrifice is forced. What is she sacrificing. She has no option. Arjun chose Maya. After that what right she has on him 😆😆. She has to give Arjun truly from her heart. She has to eliminate Arjun from that position in her heart truly. And that will happen only when that place is forcefully taken by someone else 😆😆 or rather she has to sacrifice again to become a good wife 😆😆. Till then rona dhona chalenga😆😆
