DM sat alone in his room glaring up at the portrait that he had got made for Santu.. He remembered the day, he had gifted it to her well. He laughed weakily as he thought of how he had mocked her about her bedding, asking her where she would sleep...
He remember holding her delicate hands under the duvets and talking to her till she had fallen asleep on his chest..
His weak eyes became moist and he felt tears fall upon his fragile skin. He had aged and was old..
He stared at the portrait and began to sing
DM: Humhe tumse pyar kitna, yeh hum nahin janate, magar jee nahin sakte tumhare bina😭😭
He coughed bitterly and felt pain in his chest but the pain was nothing compared to that of which he was going through without Santu..
DM: Why did you break my heart? Why couldn't you tell me? Did you think I would let you down? Did you not trust me?
His tears stung his eyes and made them itch..
DM: We went through some hardships together, we could have got through this.. you smiled even when your heart was crying.. So why did you leave me when I needed you the most?
I know that you could never harm Arjan, let alone kill him!! But you killed me when you walked away..Why did you punish me so severly?
I never told you but I want to tell you today.. I love you Santu.. I love you very very much.. Each day has been hell for mee because I cant see your beautiful face every morning, i cant hear your melodious voice..
I don't know what sins I committed that I was punished so badly but I do know that I did some great deeds because of which you came into my life...
I don't care what everyone else says or thinks, I love you beyond all limits and thats all that matters.
I don't know if we will meet again in this life but for every lifetime I return on earth I pray to God Almighty that you and only you be my wife...
