Tonight's Anupamaa episode opens with Rajini checking on Varun, asking whether he is injured. Varun, still annoyed, questions why she slapped him with such force. He reminds her that the situation was manageable until she intervened. Rajini explains that she stepped in only to gain Anupama's confidence. Varun is surprised to see Anupama's importance in her plans, but Rajini makes it clear that she supports opportunities that bring money, not people. She informs him about the chawl redevelopment deal and says that in politics, nothing is permanent, so securing funds is necessary. According to her, Varun entering politics would be an advantage, but even if he doesn't, she will earn enough for him to live comfortably.

Anupama Notices Bharti’s Reaction as Preet Teases Her

Meanwhile, Anupama speaks fondly about Rajini's compassionate nature. Preet teasingly takes Varun's name to irritate Bharti, and Anupama notices Bharti turning red with embarrassment. On the other hand, Rajini outlines her strategy to Varun, winning over Anupama is crucial because, in the future, she may need Anupama to take a stand against the chawl residents. She instructs Varun to apologise to both Anupama and Prem.

Varun Rejects the Idea of Marrying a Chawl Girl

Rajini also brings up his marriage, but Varun refuses to wed any girl from the chawl. Rajini dismisses his concerns, saying marriage is about formality, not love, and he can live freely afterwards. When Varun asks who the girl will be, Rajini says he must marry someone close to Anupama so that she can be controlled later.

Elsewhere, Parag angrily confronts Prem for working as a freelance chef. He accuses Rahi of stopping Prem from revealing the truth to them. Vasundhara criticises Prem, saying that despite being an adult, Parag is still the one running the house. Prem clarifies that he had already discussed the freelancing opportunity with Parag.

Vasundhara continues taunting him, saying he always does as he pleases and even married Rahi against their wishes. She claims Prem listens only to Anupama. Prem then reveals that Rahi had no idea about their Mumbai plans and defends her when Mahi blames her. Taking everyone by surprise, Prem finally discloses that Rajini's son Varun was the real culprit behind the accident and even attempted to frame him.

Varun then apologises to Anupama as instructed. Rajini gestures for him to seek her blessings by touching her feet. Anupama firmly refuses to forgive him, but after Rajini's repeated requests, she offers them tea instead. Once alone, Rajini scolds Varun for failing to show genuine remorse and warns him that without sincerity, he can never succeed in politics.

Rahi Breaks Down Over Vasundhara’s Continued Disapproval

Rahi expresses her sadness to Prem, saying that even after a year of marriage, Vasundhara still hasn't accepted her. Prem tries to ease her worries. Meanwhile, Anupama questions the sudden visit from Rajini and Varun. Rajini claims she wants Anupama to discipline Varun and asks her to keep him under her guidance. When Anupama wonders whether Varun can adjust to the chawl lifestyle, Rajini confidently agrees. Varun and Rajini exchange a secretive smile, hinting at their hidden motives.
