Gold post! Succintly answered what I was getting at.

The Jagya-anandi friendship and shiv being okay with it is very different from the Ganga-Jagya friendship.
Shiv knew clearly that anandi had no feelings left for Jagya.
He also knew that whatever overtures Jagya was making towards anandi were not because of any great love that Jagya had for anandi, ... but it was just that Jagya's ego was pricked and he was doing it out of 'badmaashi'/mischief to create misunderstandings between anandi and shiv. So he is fine with their friendship now and then too. He knows there is no love between the two.
Saanchi does not clearly know that Jagya has no feelings for ganga. The relationship is going strong from both sides. so naturally saanchi will have more agitation than shiv did.

This is really amusing. How shiv clearly knows?
Shiv knows because anandi clearly told him. He asked her point blank whether she would like to go back to Jagya and she said no. He told her that if she had second thoughts, he would support her in going back to J. She said "I only want to go forward with you" That is how shiv clearly knows. It was a scene outside the temple.

With all due respect, Jagya is not emotionally involved with anandi's causes or spending all his personal free time with her.
With ganga, he is committed to ganga's causes and spending all his free time with her.

Wont sanchi's mind turn to anandi too once ganga is no more in the picture? If Jagya compares everything with reference to anandi. If Jagya talks highly of anandi.

That means he is taking her word. She said and thats final. If life is as simple as you make it out to be!😆

In the absence of any measuring stick that shiv can dip into anandi's heart and know her true feelings, I think all he (or any of us) can do is to take a person at their word/face value. They were both adults, he asked her clearly, she answered equally clearly.
We also know anandi's sincerity, because when dadisa asked her to dump shiv and come back to Jagya, anandi refused and said that she would not do anything to disrespect the commitment she made to collector saab. If she genuinely had feelings for Jagya, she would have jumped at dadisa's offer to become Jagya's beendhni again.

At that time she went too far to look back.

How too far? She was not formally engaged to shiv nor was she married to him. He asked her to clarify her stand BEFORE the formal engagement.
It was the same situation saanchi was in -- just rishta had been formalized verbally.

You are just trying to simplify things which are too complex.
I will write a detailed separate blog on my thoughts about this aspect.

Look forward to reading it. 👍🏼
But I am going with the flow of balika vadhu which also distills complex issues into just half an episode
😆😆.
