Is Sumitra thinking and behaviour towards Ganga is right?

Hello friends, 😃 There are so many discussions are going about Sumitra's rude behaviour towards Ganga. Just want to know what you think Sumitra is right or wrong...I voted for "she is wrong" pls vote what you think ..thanku 😊

SUmitra is not a bad person. she is very good. Just weak but she can stand up when necessary.

So eventually she will cave in.

That was rather a ridiculous explanation from Jagya and his intelligent father... 🤪

What they were trying to say is if "something" had really happened, then it was worth throwing ganga out of the house. Since "nothing happened", she and dadisa should have licked her feet and asked her to stay.

The fact is that Sumi's fears were true. She knew it was coming their way..but no one paid attention to her. Just because 'nothing happened' does not mean Sumi was wrong and others were right...

They all took advantage of sumi's submissive nature.

though v have seen sumi supported for right until now but this time her rude behaviour with ganga is uncessary that why she is totally wrong behaving rudely with ganga .hence voted for option two .her asking more security in house is justifed but in name of getting security behaving rudely with ganga is not justified because it is not right sumi is blaming that person who is already torture by ratan

In my opinion her fears are right, but the way she is blindly listening to sanchi and cursing ganga for everything is not correct. She was once a character who I thought would never change. Very sad to see sumi turning like this 😲

Suchi my question is..is her behaviour and thinking towards Ganga is ryt according to you ? M not asking that she is good person or not...

Sumitra as a mother is right and even as a intelligent person...but the problem she realized it very late and even Singhs got too emotional in handling Ganga's case...Singhs have now got attached to Ganga and so has Ganga and so Sumitra's way to help Ganga was right but at wrong time...had they just maintained a relation of saviour-victim then they could have easily shifted her to shelter but since now she has become a family member it's obviously difficult...same can be said for Shekhars...Ira and Saanchi (even though for selfish purpose) idea about shelter is right but since they have no emotional attachement with Ganga it's easy for them to say and difficult for Singhs to do

i agree with @Surabhi...Sumitra trying for other ways to handle Ganga is right but her rudeness was wrong and letting her letting go off Ganga with child in middle of night is also wrong...they should have made sure she has shelter to live...basically i feel if Singhs would have in start only thought about shelter than it would ave been a smart decision but they brought her home and made her a family by heart so naturally now even letting her go off completely is also wrong like Jagya said

There is nothing right about letting a poor young girl with a child out of your house at night. Seriously, sumi could have just told her to stay untill she can figure out place to stay. I am sure they know she has noone, so they let her wonder outside at night with no where to go.

Sumitra is wrong! She has been a hands off parent to Sugna and Jagya. Not once she intervened to discipline them or even on their behalf. Suddenly, she is mother of the year because of mainly her silence and steadfast support of Anandi. Yes I agree, she is commendable. She did good by Anandi. Fantastic! But did anyone ever think, that if she did a better job with Jagya, Anandi wouldn't have suffered so much in the first place.

Now suddenly her mamta has awakened for Jagya. When he was lying in hospital the first time he came back to Jaitser, where was her mamta? She went from a hands off mother to a smothering mother like a sheep only when he was accepted by the rest of the family. Why didn't she fight for his acceptance too then?

Why isn't Dadisa behaving so irrationally for the safety of her Laadesar or the rest of her pariwar? Jagya has been more Dadisa's laadla than Sumitra's but she is not blaming Ganga for whatever happened to her Laadesar. Sumitra's sudden overflowing mamta and protectiveness just doesn't gel with her past characterisation.

Sumitra has become so selfish and cowardly. What a downfall! She hates Ganga so much that the mere mention of Ganga's name in conjunction with Anandi and Sugna makes her lose all sense of decorum that she started shouting in front of DS, Basant and Bhairon. That's how deep her hatred for Ganga is. She lost her years of composure in a split second.
