Turn Around!
Part-17:
I was still waving my hand toward the empty gates even after Arjun had reached his imaginary destination for the meeting long before.
Once I came to know that Wargade was not standing behind me and was pale as a real devil, I lowered my hand and moved toward the garden to let Wargade to reason with the event.
When I went inside, he was sitting on the sofa and was seeing the T.V, but was seeing it without switched it on, for a change.
I let out a relieved sigh and crossed the hall to visit Chottu.
Once Sakshi got into the car, Arjun spat the words, "What's it?", as he saw that Wargade and me were witnessing the scene.
She said quickly as she hid herself partially behind the front seat, "Move the thing, he is seeing you,"
'The hell he is!' he swore under his breath before started the car and waved me a final good bye and moved the car.
Once it came out of the house, Sakshi moved to the centre to sit comfortably.
Arjun stopped the car at the next block and turned towards her for an explanation.
She tucked her hair behind her ear and showed him her ear.
"What's it?"
He asked again, sternly.
"My studs!"
Then he saw that there was no stud in her right ear.
"I've to buy another, "she said sadly.
"I think the girl said she had only one piece in that model."
"I think if Wargade noted it you've to be the one to answer him," she threatened him simply.
He started the car quietly.
"That's what I said to let me select! Who heard my words..." she was talking to herself loudly.
She took the briefcase from the passenger seat.
"It's mine!"
He could not take it anymore.
But to his surprise, she opened the number lock in a second and took out the chocolate.
"It's mine!"
After some time, he saw her through the rear view mirror and caught her enjoying the chocolate.
"I thought so!"
He murmured.
"Mm... What did you?"
She asked between bites.
"The reason for your silence!"
"No problem, what do you want? I can still talk."
"I know that!"
"And I know the reason for your tension!"
"You what?"
She laughed and as an answer she waved the half mustache.
He smiled at last.
She pasted the half mustache under her nose and raised an eyebrow at him through the mirror.
"It suits you well!"
He commented and smiled at her.
"Ah, That's it! This is not fair, Arjun!"
"Which one?"
He asked confusingly.
"If I said a shirt suits you well, everybody turns against me and grilling me with questions. Now you are saying so, none is going to raise a finger against you," she returned well.
One moment he was silent then said, "And you didn't ask, how this thing got like this!"
He changed the subject and she smiled at that.
"Very well, Arjun, I ll let it go with pleasure! And I won't tell a soul about your comment, right! Now tell me what happened!"
She had said everything briefly (?!)
He smiled at her and started telling that morning's another event.
