Kamal Haasan begins filming for Indian 2; Shares BTS pictures

The lengthy wait is now over. From today, September 22, Kamal Haasan will be working on the sets of his much anticipated action drama Indian 2. He posted some images from the shoot along with the news on social media.

In the pictures he can be seen candidly chatting with the director.

Kamal Haasan shared the post and wrote, “Indian 2 from today”. He also shared a reel having a conversation with the director while discussing their scenes.

As per the earlier reports, Siddharth, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Rakul Preet Singh's scenes were to be shot until September 5th, after which point Kamal Haasan would be joining the shooting. Kajal Aggarwal, previously stated that she will begin shooting around the middle of September. 

Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, and Priya Bhavani Shankar are also featured in "Indian 2." Aishwarya Rajesh has a significant role in the movie, which also stars veteran actor Delhi Ganesh. Although Sathyaraj and Karthik are speculated to be the newest cast members, the movie's producers have yet to confirm their involvement. The soundtrack for the movie, which is being produced by Lyca Productions, will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

The Tamil-language movie is the follow-up to the 1996 vigilante action thriller "Indian", starring Kamal Haasan.

Shankar, who also directed the first part announced the commencement of the filming update on Twitter as he shared the film's new posters starring Haasan.

"Good morning Indians, we are glad to announce that the remaining shoot for Indian 2 is commencing today! Need all of your support and wishes," the acclaimed filmmaker wrote.

Fans are awaiting the film and now that the great Kamal Haasan is on sets, it would be exciting to witness this project unfold.
