The worst part today was that Abir didn’t believe Mishti in an emergency situation.

Abir didn’t trust Mishti, he didn’t hear the real panic in her voice on the phone, he didn’t have the ESP to feel that she’s in trouble like he used to before! Where is that soul connection they had before? I didn’t see that today when she was in such dire need, yet he didn’t heed her pleas for help. As a result she worsened her internal injuries with all the heavy lifting and pushing Kuhu on that cart.

Does Abir think Mishti is an expert at drama and deception like his mother? Is that how he sees her? Is that why he didn’t believe her cries for help, he didn’t rush to help her? So strange that this is the 2nd time he equated Mishti with his mother after their resort fight.

Well, you know what they say. Sons inadvertently look for their mother in their wives. And Abir, inspite of all his frustrations with Meenu, admires his mom and loves her (even after all her scheming) for all she put up with and overcame all her life. Meenu is a fiercely strong and independent woman. Very true and loyal to her family. I'm not condoning her acts but only complimenting her essence. But ya, looks like Abir was drawing parallels with the wrong attributes of Meenu when he was insinuating that his wife was behaving like his mom.

As for Abir not rushing to help Mishti, it's all the script's fault to give the track a shoddy ending. But like I 5% don't blame him for thinking that Mishti cried wolf. Still, he should know better than to repeat this in the future. Mishti would never do this to him.

This is my take on the episode today (which I had posted elsewhere as well):

I can't remember Mishti's exact dialogues to Kuhu from that MishNish wedding track before Kuhu reveals to Abir about Kunal spiking Naanchaak's drink. But it's something along the lines of-Ab mujhe kisi bhi cheez se koi matlab nahi...

Mishti's dialogues is my reaction to the episode, the track and the neck track.

Just like everyone ignored Kuhu's rants/curses that day, everyone is conveniently ignoring the fact that she didn't say sorry at all. Kunal was so hopeful while asking, bechara. And this accident could have happened like much before because clearly if it hadn't happened, all those dolts (Mahs and AbhiNal) wouldn't have seen what they wanted to see. Seriously, when they brought the doll house it wasn't a patch up but this one is? And this is the ending to the track? Can't decide if Varun track's end was more disappointing or this one's.

And Kuhu's excuse to not trying to sort out the matter first is that her highness and her Kuhuness are better at handling fashion and stuff? And ofcourse Mishti has to always rescue people on an abandoned, overturned cart.

Abir got one thing wrong. BigBen's interference is needed like he said as a joke the other day to keep Meenu-Kunal at home. Kuhu turned up only because she is scared of her dragon saas. If Meenu hadn't daraaoed dhamkaaoed these two and BP, Kuhu wouldn't have grown a brain.

At the end of the day, it's #MishtiKeVajahSe and #MishtiMahaan. Abir, who once admired Mishti's angry chorniness and who also promised to protect her self respect pre wedding is making her bend time and again. And so is Bade Papa. Two most important men in her life. Her pillars and her support system.

Great! Fantastic! Everything is awesome!

he always compares mishti with his mom. He does it in the most hurtful way. I dont see how she is like his mom. He will leave her the moment she doesnt behave like he expects her

All I can say is mishti loves abir more than he loves her. For her he comes first but for abir she comes after kunal, kuhu

But it's kuhu's fan wanting abir to handle her 🤷‍♀ dey even wanted abir to handle her insecurity, handle d coffee issues. I said it before also kuhu can nly be handle by kunal none other dem him. But in dis situation I wanted meenu to scold kuhu Dan n der when she was badmouthing mishti. Not a single elder in d house will tolerate d bullshit which she spoke dat day instead every one was requesting mishti to call d publisher even when abir gave d idea to kunal to demand an apology from d editor of d magazine but he refused

Remember going to Bangalore was on the basis of 'medical treatment'; he did not say it is to live away from the family. He was trying to make up a way to keep mishti away from Ketu's wedding. Mishti only agreed because she believed in Abir's intention.

Right now, I don't think Mishti will be that easy to budge, since she isn't that mentally weak or vulnerable as during the PTSD track. She will definitely question Abir left right and centre as to why? what's the reason? what's the need? We can be happy altogether, I can't live without family etc.

I totally agree with your 2nd paragraph about Kuhu not being put in place, or scolded. It's about time someone (preferably an elder like you said Meenu or even Varsha or BP) takes the responsibility to teach Kuhu some lessons. I'm proud of Meenu for giving her punishments straight on, she is not willing to except bullsh*t from the sisters. I completely agree with you, when Mishti isn't at fault then she doesn't need to call the publisher - it has to be Kunal or even Meenu (but there is still a possibility that BB is behind the photo cover swap).

Kuhu actually dint care that even Abir too was on the cover pic, her so called bro with whom she was feeling jealous of. What stopped Abir from asking her this question, kuhu would have realised she was wrong there. Its not that Abir would have overstepped boundaries if he asked kuhu that. And if he has so much boundaries with respect to kuhu then keep her in that boundary. If they call each other bro n Abir cant even make her understand things and have that much haq then why keep calling each other bro. keep the relationship as sister in law - brother in law. call her kuhu n treat her as ur brothers wife not like ur own sibling.

Also Abir needs to start snubbing kuhu whenever she does unnecessary drama. the issue here is no one is making kuhu realize that she needs to keep peace, peace cannot be attained by mishti alone. And Abir is no kid not to realize that

Yes dear, I agree; Abir is somewhere missing that point that Kuhu too needs to be putting equal efforts, which he can see she isn't. But I guess it's just that he for a fact knows he cannot expect anything better from her anyways - so that's why he was trying his luck at explaining to Mishti.

I'm not saying Abir is completely right in his approach, but he is not totally wrong either, bas Meenu ke ultimatum and the pressure on Mishti from that - he is underestimating.

Sorry I didn't quite understand what you wanted Abir to ask Kuhu. From what I understood; when Meenu clearly re-iterated that Abir is also on the front cover, Kuhu just brushes it off and focuses on Mishti's presence. So it's clear she has no issue/no jealousy with Abir, it's Mishti that she has a problem with. So what does Abir have to call her out for? I personally think given how Abir hasn't bothered to talk to kuhu, clearly shows that he doesn't consider Kuhu as his bro, he's stopped giving her that importance and not taking her words seriously, as he said clearly; he is not siding with Kuhu but rather trying get to the bottom of the sister's problem i.e childhood issues.

I too don't understand why the writers need to purposely insert those dialogues of 'bro this' bro that' whenever they are superficially being nice. It just doesn't gell well. I agree with you on that.

if the problem was going to be solved by- editor ko hi call karna .why Abir cant do it why mishti has to.

The way I see it:

If Abir tries to talk sense into Kuhu, she will automatically assume that he is taking Mishti's side, because he is her husband. So she won't bother listening to him - or she'll just accuse Mishti of manipulating Abir to pick her side "mere 'bro' mujhse cheen li" type drama again. That's why it's better for someone else like an elder that Kuhu will actually listen to - Meenu.

Similarly If Abir calls the editor solve the issue - Kuhu can easily just say; Mishti is being stubborn and selfish again for making Abir call the editor, rather than herself because she wants be in the centre blah blah. If anyone was to call the editor - it had to be Kunal, Meenu or Kuhu herself.
