If Abir wanted to..he could've given an ultimatum that Mishti must choose between adjusting with Kuhu or leave the RV house/family to live separately. But he doesn't do that, because he knows he cannot make Mishti choose like that...he knows neither of them can choose between family and love.

That's why he was insisting to at least solve the sister's issue properly by getting to bottom, getting to the roots. That is the only way the will be able to survive living in RV house; both Mishti and kuhu need to come to a compromise. Once again, I repeat, it is not Abir's responsibility to make Kuhu understand where she went wrong and how to fix it, he doesn't not have that haq or authority - he knows where to draw a line with his sister-in-law. That's why he turns to Mishti, he knows he has that liberty and haq to speak to Mishti openly about where she went wrong, and try to explain how to fix it - he trusts her and believes in their love that Mishti will understand.

Abir probably didn't use the best of words to explain all these (in-between the lines) properly to Mishti, because he thought automatically assumed that his best-friend-wala Mishti bina kuch kahe understood his intentions. Unfortunately both of them were too emotional to understand each other. That's ok. I'm sure given some time (2-3 more episodes) they would definitely explained their pov clearly and understood each other properly. Alas, the writers screwed it up by rushing to this kuhu accident...🤔

@Bold: you know at first, I also didn't understand why would they be make such a big drama on just a magazine cover page. But then I realised that...it wouldn't make sense if Kuhu blamed mishti with logic. Kuhu will take any small petty thing (with minimal logic) and blame it on Mishti. And so that's exactly what happened. And this time Mishti didn't take it lightly, she was fed up. Fair enough, I totally agree with that.

hehe wasn't aiming for such a long post...but oh well. 😆😆 It's a way of getting out these emotions

Yeah I know he admires his mother inspite of considering her a tough adversary. Meenu’s strength is admirable, she held her family and business together with an iron fist for decades even after her heartbreak and vile deception by her husband. But I can’t and I’m sure Abir can’t forget or condone all her nefarious plots to harm Mishti and many others.

Worst was when she saw her son hurting like crazy and turned a blind eye and still forced him to acquiesce to her will. Probably she thought he’s weak and wanted to make him tough. But as a mother I cannot understand how she could be so cruel to her son!

Hence Abir comparing Mishti to his mom or thinking Mish could deceive him and lie about an emergency (like Meenu’s temple drama which even fooled Abir) is really shocking! Mishti wouldn’t lie to him about an emergency and he must know that! He seems to have lost his instincts regarding Mishti. His poor judgment will cost both of them dearly now.

Sorry I didn't quite understand what you wanted Abir to ask Kuhu. From what I understood; when Meenu clearly re-iterated that Abir is also on the front cover, Kuhu just brushes it off and focuses on Mishti's presence. So it's clear she has no issue/no jealousy with Abir, it's Mishti that she has a problem with. So what does Abir have to call her out for? I personally think given how Abir hasn't bothered to talk to kuhu, clearly shows that he doesn't consider Kuhu as his bro, he's stopped giving her that importance and not taking her words seriously, as he said clearly; he is not siding with Kuhu but rather trying get to the bottom of the sister's problem i.e childhood issues.

I too don't understand why the writers need to purposely insert those dialogues of 'bro this' bro that' whenever they are superficially being nice. It just doesn't gell well. I agree with you on that.

I don't think mishti will refuse if abir wants to leave d house. She will definitely ask questions to abir but she will do it for him . Tbh mishti doesn't have any say in dis relationship. She always does thing what abir wants. May be little late but she always does it.

I huv said dis earlier also she is too dependent on him. Whatever he says she does. She loves him like hell. She can go to any extend for him.

Leave apologizing to kuhu , she did dat before also apologizing to bigben for abir in dat party . She tolerated kunal's taunt just because he is abir's brother. She has always been like dat

Basically all of them, the Mahs, RJVs and sadly even Abir today showed Mishti what her aukaat is, what her position is in both the families. She should be just tied to a post everyday as Kuhu’s whipping boy or punching bag so Junior Queen Kuhu can hit her on a daily basis for fun and entertainment! I hope they are happy with killing the angry chorni’s spirit.

Strangely enough it was only Mami who pointed out that Mishti is the elder bahu so Kuhu should not insult her like that. None of the others said that to Kuhu. In a cultured family those older in age and status are treated with more respect, not abused and cursed.

Mishti is no longer Angry Chorni

Mishti and Abir are no longer MishBir

Bade Papa and Abir are no longer Mishti's dhals.

And if you recall, Mishti has become exactly the kind of wife Kunal 1.0 wanted when Mish put forth the courtship/job conditions-that argument MishNal had in RJV sadan after Abir hides her potrait. She also broke off the GD saying they're not compatible. Aaj ka din dekha hota toh Kunal hi behtar choice lagta.

Mishti was right when her Badi Maa first told her the story of prince charming. Wrong when she thought prince charmings exist in real life (in the temple post confession). Abir broke his promises when he asked for her hand from Bade Papa and the vows he took before the pheras and everything else he made Mishti believe in between.
