I think part of her pravachan is because she's mixing up her own feelings here. Somehow she is hearing it as "pyaar karna galat hai" and she's projecting her own newfound feelings instead of only being focused on Charu Dev. Subconsciously she is defending pyaar but she's actually defending her own pyaar. She isnt fully objective. And she does not think Armaan is obligated to reciprocate but obviously shes hopeful. She wants him to love her back and as the person she loves she wants him to trust her and not be mad at her. So all that plays into her current messed up state of mind.

I think she will become rational again once she gets some time to introspect.

And she is very keen that Charu should get a chance to speak her mind before people ban her activities and thats definitely priority for her as an independent, opinionated woman. She will never stand for people locking her up. She is an adult who has made a conscious choice , after Dev informed her of his baggage. So while family and Armaan concerns are valid- its not ok to overwhelm Charu.

She can easily do self harm if she is pushed and things like zabardasti shaadi etc are brought up.

So lettting Charu talk it out with Dev and everyone mutually deciding what to do in a calm way is not unreasonable.

If she's held accountable for Charu she will feel obligated to "sort out" the matter instead of staying quiet entirely which may be best for her because thats her core personality. Its her flaw and strength. She is a meddler, she is a fixer especially when she's personally invested in all these poddars. She genuinely has grown to see them all as her family without even realizing it.
