Yeah and I think Akshara and Abhinav are really not going to drag Birlas through the mud .. but that is also because they are good human beings basically .. and Goenkas definitely need a better lawyer .. the Birla one was at least behaving like a lawyer and was indeed savage .. I really don’t know why they needed to be a charity case .. bade papa had said he will pay .. and while she might have not had luxuries, the child did have a good life .. he was getting good education and his basic needs were taken care of .. right now they are not doing great .. but that is where they have the option of using ancestral inheritance and I don’t think Akshara should consider any self respect etc when push comes to shove in claiming her inheritance to show her financial status .. whether she uses it or not is different ..

while I agree it is not a crime abd aabhimanyu is not on trial .. same way as proving a woman characterless is considered as a way to prevent the mother getting custody , I do think the points about Abhimanyu proposing Akshara while being engaged to her sister can be a way to raise questions about his morals and his reliability as a person and while he won’t be put in jail for it, I do think it will not make him look like a respectable man who can be trusted to give the right upbringing to a child .. u think these can be valid arguments to show Abhimanyu can be irrational , unpredictable, unreliable and has questionable morals ..

1) Talking about the law, there's nothing wrong with someone proposing to someone, it is a question and the decision was left to Akshara, if Abhimanyu had shown any kind of problematic behaviour like harassing her, stalking her, chasing her, manipulating her to be with him then it could be used against him in the court

2) He proposed to Akshara, who is Abhir's mother and the custody case is for Abhir, if anything it will be seen as an attempt to get back together with his wife and son not an unethical or immoral thing done by a roadside Romeo

3) This is my personal view, When people say that proposing to married women is wrong, they are implying that they are commodities of their husbands, Abhimanyu should think about her husband and not propose to her, how about let her decide?

And Akshara took a decision to stay back, did Abhimanyu show any kind of resistance against her decision in last few weeks?

Not bad or wrong as a stand alone thing .. but normally it is considered not right if he has committed to marry someone else .. and he was proposing another person without breaking off the original commitment .. most people in regular society still think that way ..

Until recently IPC had a provision to arrest a man who engaged in an affair with a married woman. Not so "ethical" after all.

Lol what? Get back together with his wife and child when he wasn't even aware that he was indeed his biological child? I don't think so. It goes on to prove that he was willing to break up Abhir's happy home and family without giving so much as a thought about it. It proves that he is a person of loose character and attempted at wrecking their home.

If a man had sexual intercourse with a married woman and her husband files a complaint against him then he'll be tried with Section 497

But as you know it was abolished by the Supreme Court

Married men can sleep with whoever they want to, none stops them from doing anything but where a woman is concerned it becomes a social issue where husband has been cuckolded and deserves justice

I don't support these draconian laws and same goes for the apex court. A woman is not her husband's property and her consent is the only thing important in a sexual relationship.

That'what i don't understand insisting on not taking help from goenkas... she's a daughter of that house...also they're offering nav a job not free ke paise ...nd AK can take up some job ....nav can start at a slightly lower most nd not be a director directly....it would still be better than cab driving in terms of income stability ....too much pride or misplaced self respect can be there downfall

This is not an issue about the gender bias. Even if a woman propositions a married man, she would be be considered a person of low morals too.

It wasn't.

But your justification of this cheap behaviour as some sort of women empowerment move is just not it.
