Then his stand is justified over there. As he did not let her die rather he left it for goenkas to handle.
Not really, I mean, he knew how the Goenkas treated Ak before, also. And she is his wife, his responsibility, he can't just abandon her like that. Besides, the Gorillas were all hanging out together. He never wondered what happened to Ak, where is she, why isn't she with the Goenkas, and what is going on? I know he was busy with KM and stuff, but still. He should have gone to look for Ak with BP, he should have picked up her calls, and he should have listened to her. That is basic humanity yaar, even if she was with a friend, or whatever, he is still the most important person in her life. She is going to call him first if she needs help or anything. What is the point of not listening? He made a horrible mistake those seven months, and even after that, even if she is married, why didn't he go to meet her? Did all his love for her evaporate on the white day?
The thing is, the writers didn't think this through, they want us to only focus on two calls, but in this day and age, there is a lot they both could have done. There are a lot of plotholes with the whole leap. For example, BP thought she is staying with her friend, didn't her friend call and tell BP she is not staying with her anymore? BP never offered money or anything? Ak lived with Nav, who is a complete stranger, which is the stupidest thing again in this day and age. Like for example, that whole going to a hostel was so weird. With one phone call BP could have booked a hotel room for her. And Ak didn't even have a credit/debit card? She was married to a Birla and she herself is a Goenka, she should have had her own bank account and stuff. Even if she forgot her bags, she still had her phone, everything can be done with a phone these days. I can honestly point out a thousand plot holes, but they only want us to focus on two phones, and if that is what we are looking at, then yes, Abhi is wrong.
