During this entire marriage, both of them have acted like idiots showing unrealistic expectation, impulsive decisions and dumb actions. My complaint with Naina during the college phase was that she acted too mature for her age and now when she is getting married and is expected to act mature, she is acting like a child.

Same goes for Sameer - entire time he supports her relentlessly, even when she gets engaged to be married to someone else takes her back without questioning. But suddenly he acts up for such a trivial thing as hair. What is the use of realizing 20 year later that he made a mistake? When he should have supported, he let his anger take over his reasoning.

Shilpa we're likeminded fans. I'm not sure which fits us "Great minds think alike" 🤗or "Fools seldom differ" 😉, but yes we seem to echo each other often.
I agree completely there's no logic in making characters all good and then suddenly so out of character that they are all pathetic. Noone behaves like that in reality. Sameer's anger is his own worst enemy, josh mein hosh koh jahta. When he will manage to control his anger and how may be an interesting journey to watch.

@myprimechicago and rituriyaakhil

Hi

The funny thing is though mine is arranged marriage but even my In Laws were against it. Except my parents and Hubby some of my relatives even my neighbours were also against it. My parents also told me to reconsider my decision to marry him. Our alliance was actually on the verge of breaking because of these relatives that time my husband said something to me and I decided no it's worth it to marry him.

So for us it's somewhere the same situation like Samaina just it was a arranged marriage tag because we didn't know each other.

Love or arranged that doesn't matter it's the situation you are in and how you deal with it that matters the most.

It's not necessary that every time your In Laws or your husband will support you because sometimes the situation are completely different.

The Naina we know she is not like this that she requires anybody's support to defend her because she proved it during BKC time for standing up for Anand's and her self respect and as for Sameer for him his anger is everything see he is like me so may be I can relate to him. When anger takes over then all other things take back seat even love for me .

See I am from cops family so for me Truth, Law and Order matters the most.

If someone lies to me then I also get angry. This one thing I made clear to my husband also I don't care about anything but never lie to me because that one thing I can't tolerate.

Truth and Honesty are my life's principles and I am damn proud of it and those who know me they like this about me.

I will still stick to my POV that he was not angry because of her hair but because of her lie and he was too much hurt because he asked her one thing and that also got ruined because of beautician mistake and his dream got shattered. He knows that it's not Naina's fault but as usual his anger took over because of her lie and it got exposed in front of everyone including her family.

@ Ritu

See I agree with you that it's too early to fight but believe me sometimes silence is better than arguing or fighting.

You can't make everyone happy because no matter what you do these kind of relatives are always ready to put you down.

It's always better to show them by your actions what you can do and how much you are capable to do it.

As for Sameer's silence like I said before also she was already getting taunts if he would've said something then it would've made much more worse.

If we go by precap see he already trying to help her.

And one more thing I agree with you about support yes it does cripples you because unknowingly you start to depend on your partner for every thing which is not good.

Even I also want to see the other side of Naina who will become the strength of Sameer and they both will prove to all that they indeed perfect for each other despite their shortcomings.

Actually after marriage girls change a lot more in a charming way with all decked up looks and all , Sameer had imagined Naina like that..
So he is a bit upset about hair fiasco I guess,
He will come around pretty soon coz his love for Naina is not for her outer beauty.
Infact compared to Naina , Sameer is more handsome.. that's what CVs have made us believe with ashi's look in the show..

Looks does matter but not in a long way
Sameer wants his newly wedded wife to look beautiful..
Actually every men wants that I guess..

Ps : just for fun Uske naak PE pimple hogaya hain ab kya karega sameer/randeep 😆 looks khaaraab hoga face ka

Naina's natural looks don't matter to Sameer...but hiding the truth about the hideous hairdo from Sameer, which resulted in her becoming a joke in front of all, definitely matters...it would have mattered to Naina as well if the situation was vice versa...

Hi Deepa

Yes I did mention that she had the opportunity not so many times but when she was in their room. See just before that she did talk to Preeti and as such they were alone there no one to disturb she could've easily told him about the hair fiasco not show him but at least she would've given him a hint about it then he wouldn't have got so angry.

If he knew and then also he wouldn't have supported her then yes he definitely deserves a bashing.

See again I will stick to my POV it's not about a hairs but hiding about it.

May be you will not agree with me but for me Love is another thing and Truth is another thing which for me takes the top priority.

If you see Naina was also like that when whole paper stealing drama happened.

She chose truth over her love for Sameer but sadly when she got to know the truth she didn't do anything to clear his name anyways again I will start my rant about it.

I don't agree that just because you love a person then you have to support their mistakes also it's not fair. Not for you and even for them also in a long run. It can ruin everything because you start to expect those things from them and they can't fulfill it.

Don't you think she chose a wrong time to tell him about her hairs when house was full of people and they were disturbing them when they were talking?

For me when they were in room alone it was perfect opportunity to tell.

About Sameer saying yes he forgave her same I was like Dobo first listen to her and then open your mouth but I loved that at least he admitted that he is not like her to let go of things easily that's his character trait.

That's one more reason I love him because I am also not forgetting and forgiving type person.

As for me I think they both need to remember their promises to each other and try to work on it. As we know for both of them their love for each other matters the most than anything.

P.S. About your P.S. yes it was RD but it made me think wrong dialogues at wrong time😆

He himself hid the forehead mark from Naina right... infact he many times hide things from Naina... like he dint tell her how Vishakha feels for her and she got to face vishakha's hate directly when rishta talks started

To me somehow CVs have transformed Sameer's character big time for drama sake... such a sensible caring guy has become a stubborn child who was wrecking his own wedding by crying "jooda "jooda and now giving her angry looks when everyone was humiliating her

Naina is also made a 10 year old child to jump on bed in middle of night when she was not even allowed to stand there in first place...

NO POINT JUSTIFYING THE ACTS COZ ITS ALL LACED WITH SENSELESS DRAMA

@trupti I agree I hate people telling lies to me because I don't lie to anybody. We are on the same page there but here naina didn't tell him the hair fiasco and didn't hide it on purpose and also tried to tell him.

SHE NEVER LIED TO HIM.

Sameer always hides things from her as @myprimechicago mentioned about vishaka not liking her and didn't give wholehearted yes for the marriage.

He also hid when principal told him that he can't write the exam what about those two. He never wanted to tell her he did it on purpose

Both Naina and Sameer withhold important things from each other, which when it comes out creates unnecessary problems.

This is exactly what I think, although Sameer hides more things from Naina.

Why did Sameer lie to Naina about his mom not liking her or he leaving the exam for her and much more? It was his way of shielding her from getting hurt or harmed. Why did Naina withhold information from Sameer about hair - it was because she did not want Sameer to get mad at her and leave the wedding and then she kept on procrastinating until it got too late. Lot of us thought instead of jumping on the bed, she could have taken it as an opportunity to tell him about the hair blunder.

There was a post here which said "Are Sameer & Naina still friends"? My answer was not quite yet. All these thing they are doing is because they are in girlfriend/boyfriend mode and are consistently trying to please each other. But marriage is not about pleasing each, it is more about having realistic dreams where the couple learns to be comfortable with each other, respect each other's individualism and become each other's strength. To become all that you need to be transparent with each other with attention to the health of the relationship in long run, not just short term resolution of trying to please each other.

Since the question of this post is "so looks matter for Sameer?", I want to add that apparently he did lie about it not mattering. Somewhere deep inside he wanted his bride to look good for himself as well as for other. Whichever way we look at it, he did react badly to the look!
