This was seen in her crying during the saree tying fiasco and saying, "Sameer ab toh utt jao." as if he was going to help her to tie the saree. She could not even think of a solution, like asking Poonam or Vishakha or any other woman, on her own. Whether this will change any time soon will have to be seen.

Yes she will require Sameer's support particularly in public when she faces difficulties and he ought to have supported her even if it was just by remaining by her side during this hair revelation episode.

I do however understand, but not condone, his actions. He's angry that she has not fulfilled his dream. More than the hair thing, it is that he has been dreaming of her wearing beautiful sarees with her hair open and flowing whilst she serves him. This dream has been shattered. This is the reason for his anger. He has done many things to realise Naina's dreams and gone to some extreme lengths to make her happy. He is however expecting to be rewarded for this either through the kiss or the fulfilment of his dreams. Now the curls have shattered this. This is the cause of his anger and we know that Sameer's greatest enemy is his anger. At least the older Sameer realised that he was wrong as his voice over says that he should have supported her.

Sameena, I don't know how sometimes I end up thinking the same way you do - I was thinking exactly the same thing when Naina was saying, "Sameer ab toh utt jao" - how was Sameer going to help with her the sari? Eventually it was Vishakha who helped her anyways.

During this entire marriage, both of them have acted like idiots showing unrealistic expectation, impulsive decisions and dumb actions. My complaint with Naina during the college phase was that she acted too mature for her age and now when she is getting married and is expected to act mature, she is acting like a child.

Same goes for Sameer - entire time he supports her relentlessly, even when she gets engaged to be married to someone else takes her back without questioning. But suddenly he acts up for such a trivial thing as hair. What is the use of realizing 20 year later that he made a mistake? When he should have supported, he let his anger take over his reasoning.

When Naina said "Sameer ab toh uth jao please she did not expect nor would he be able to help her out with the sari.

Since she is only comfortable with sameer she would call him to go bring his Mom or Bhabhi.

This because Naina is already too scared and she blurted out to Vishakha that she knows how to tie a sari, so she is scared to approach her. He would be able to speak and bring his Mom to help.

Thats what it meant...
Its my personal experience...
Initial couple of days of marriage I used to ask my hubby for help in any problem and he reached out to his mom/sister accordingly...
Its very difficult for new dulhan to directly approach the inlaws for help went all relatives are surrounded and they are examining the girl constantly...

I do agree to what you are saying - in real life something like that does happened.

I don't understand what is happening really in this show. If Sameer was smart he would have opted for a smaller wedding where only few immediate relatives would be invited. I have never understood the significance him fulfilling Naina's dream of having a big wedding, when circumstances were working against them. It almost felt like wedding was deliberately thrown in so that these nonsensical drama could be shown. Lots of 90s couple eloped or had court marriages with only friends present. Given the circumstances, low profile marriage could have more meaningful and true to the era.

According to my view i think the CVs are trying to show the immaturity on both nainas n sameers part...both of them getting angry at trival things and then making up...though we can agrue the need for marriage at such an early age...but the circumstances became such that they had to marry...
Though I did not like sameer getting angry at naina and not defending her but they are trying to show his immaturity n with time he will realise his mistake...

Similarly for naina...she experimented with her hair n it went horribly wrong...

Though I did not like cvs approach by showing non sense things like kabbadi, their fighting on stage , Naina failing in all rasams , hair fiasco but maybe it is to show how immature they are...they will realise n rrectify later but will react stupidily initialy..

In fact it was the most anticipated track and cvs ruined it.. but this is the only explanation which comes to my mind after seeing this crap. ..

The only thing is we are so much in love with the show that we watch anything which is dished out and keep on waiting for something nice to come up...

Hoping the CVs come back on track n we get our old YUDKBH back😊

Sameer is not bothered about naina's looks. He is angry that she hid it from him and sameer had always being impulsive. His voice-over made it clear how guilty he feels now for what happened years back. The next episode itself he is adding sugar to her halwa so that his wife does not fail in front of anyone though he is spoiling her dish unknowingly still. Sameer's anger for naina will not last for long. There are many times in life that you regret the things which you do now out of anger, same is the case with sameer

Even people who have small wedding have such great memories to cherish. The way this wedding panned out, it almost looked like the hero & heroine no fun memories to take back. I don't like VO justifying everything - it is an easier way to fix crap that CVs are giving us.

Like Pooja1973 said in the post above, it might be the way of saying leads were immature when they married. I hope whatever CVs will show now will be the continuation of their immaturity and how they learn from it. I don't like this flip-flop of character with Naina being converted from most sensible to naive & immature and Sameer as most caring boyfriend to unreasonably mad husband. If CVs will immediately show Naina as most sensible girl again after this marriage track, I will again disagree a lot.

I think the focus is only on twists and drama... to put drama in Place they are making actors act against their core character and they are not realizing it

10th grade Samaina were more mature and sensible than married Samaina

I feel Sameer is angry because of the style. He dreamt of her long hair and remembered that too. And when he asked Naina to leave her hair open during th me wedding he did say it will match my hair.
So he wanted the silky, lehrate hue baal for Naina.

If he was angry about her hiding the fiasco part then his reaction to MunDit tips would be different. He would have stated that it's not about the style, it's the fact that she hid it from me.
