Totally agree with ur post...only ishita can make him powerless..he is in his own world that ishita is at fault n she shud come to him bt at the moment he accepts he ws at fault there will b no coming back of ishita...
He still doesnt want to accept his share of mistake...bt his guilt is started acc to me..
Today he ws totally broken wen ishita broke down completely he ws numb .
Now ishita is coming to him for ruhi n he will try hard to control his feelings bt will fail misrably bcs ishita will again break his resolve...

Another thought all the back massage etc is this Raman's way of lessening Ishita's burden that he is not so angry with her etc and trying to lighten her up without losing face and accepting his guilt openly to her..he will have the upper hand and she will be forever grateful to him. Surrogacy also I think was his way of balancing the scales in this relationship..because Ishita with all her deeds had the upper hand according to him. Going by your post, think Ishita knows this about him and is blaming herself for the whole fiasco so that he won't drown in guilt and emotionally she is stronger one. But he did destroy her using her weakness and amma's concern is right, what if history repeats itself.

Raman Kumar Bhalla strongly believed or refused to look at what happened that evening. He did the most easiest thing of hurting his most loved one. His wife, His JKR, His Madrasan, His Ishitha for the loss of his daughter Ruhi who brought the two of them together in to a bond which was unbreakable. Even after she returned he couldn't play his stronger self before her. He loves her the most in the world today but it was today he once again saw how much Ishitha loved Ruhi. It took his brother, Romi to show the mirror. How his harsh words forced his loved ones to stay away from him and act dead even though they were alive. The minute he heard those words he broke down silently. He sat down stunned and sobbed not knowing what to do. His family was no more and he was helpless.

Once again there was a little realization from Raman's side. He immediately did not say yes I am responsible. He realized his single mistake has separated him from his daughter and also a beautiful mother daughter bond also was broken. Then the line which says he is breaking was I am annoyed with Ishitha but can never see her die no matter what. A week back he did not hesitate a minute to insult his wife and her friend. But today the same raman broke to his friend. He will be breaking down very soon and if we cried 2X today that day when proper IshRa reunion happens its going to be 10X.

Powerless and souless .
Like you I m also biased for raman don't know why but yeah I love ishita as well and I can feel her pain also .I love Ishra .Cvs Never handle raman's character sensibly .The dialogues selection for him in this track is unappropriate.
why cvs can't give Pov of raman .He had lost his wife and daughter 7 years ago , he also suffered , he felt himself as a loser , he was in guilt so why we can't get his pov .
Anyways I just hope The way you wrote his inner feelings cvs also show that .

Zoya, believe me or not, just now I wrote in the daily discussion thread that if CV's think they can make audience to hate Raman by making him dumb day-by-day , then we have OLVs to the rescue. If OLVs don't get released , then we have people like you, Gan, Nidoo, Anku who would write a post in a neutral way and that would explain us what could have been Raman's POV.

I completely loved your take on Raman. Otherwise I was fuming with anger about CV's love to butcher Raman . 😡😡.

I have ranted enough in the daily discussion thread about how Raman has been showed as useless today.😔 I will leave it to other people who puts across points very clearly and beautifully rather than my useless rants.😊

While I agree with you completely about the fact that none can make RKB powerless except for Ishita, I atleast thought Ishita's complete break down would knock some senses in to him. But does not seem like it has.

I am glad that IshRa are together in the mission to rescue Ruhi, but I just did not want it to be just a guilt trip of Ishita alone and Raman is just helping her to get Ruhi back. I just want both of them to realize and accept that both of them have failed as parents and because of them Ruhi is in this state today, rectify things and win Ruhi's love and confidence in them back. Anyways, no use ranting about things which are never going to happen in YHM world.

Well, count me in the list of people who can never hate RKB, just because CV's want to portray him for "what he is not".
