"A father has to be a provider, a teacher, a role model, but most importantly, a distant authority figure who can never be pleased. Otherwise, how will children ever understand the concept of God?"
Stephen Colbert,

The greatest mark of a father is how he treats his children when no one is looking."
- Dan Pearce

Loved that edited pic of raman & Adi
Beautifully weaved thought written...
It just im unable to see through & give detail thought over entire scene what cv's want to show...due to so much extra drama they add in the show..it becoming more looking like im watching a tv show which day by day churning episode & there is no pt to go in details...so it making me watch what i like & leave what i dont...i cant enjoy wholesome...
im not getting to see what i want to enjoy in the show...
but i do get what they want us to see...
It just that im unable to relate or now i dont have much of detailed thought over due to OTT drama in some parts of the show to extent i ignored Shagun now she annoys me so much that it even unbearable to hear also i simply change channel ...also to some extent Ishita's lectures r too much long in dialogues that one know what she will say...

the Only pt i state is Poor Adi as child he has to feel such feelings it ws sad state...
when he cries out loud that Im so stupid Im so stupid...its sad when he realize..what his mother does with him...the person with who he thought loves the most for her he even kept his father at bay...

well it does happen children being isolated when parents r more busy with there own life's own arguments...
its hard hitting fact of today's life so its nothing wrong in showing this...
i can only hope what cv's want to make audience see through they can deliver that rather going way on ott path to make it messy...
as than i feel there is no-one of going into details of such things which they cant handle it...

another point for people who cant see Raman's dilemma...As father is very complicated situation of him...a father who Loves both his children...at moment he saw one child on verge of taking path of suicide...he will try to solve his problem...
as audience problem is since start people were attach to Ruhi-ishu-Raman bonding...so it feels less attached to Adi also due to his past deeds..Raman as father had to see both children..Raman is in situation where he cant be good to both children tht he even accept this...Raman taking some decision for Adi...so it becomes not right he took for Ruhi...does it mean leaving Adi in lurch...If Later Adi becomes rebell again..one cant really blame Shagun for that...
but u know in ur post how we love to see adi changing for better...here a children to rebellious bigda bacha to the child who wants love...
i cant really blame Raman Bas
as per spoilers even Ishu also understood the situation when raman tells her & so is precap indicating...

#need bigtime break from Shagun...
#need break from Ishita's lecture's

Reserve. Have a LOT to say today myself.

Edited.

I am just so moved by the episode today. Just with the mere thought put into it and seeing the predicament of a child whose had to suffer so much without no fault of his.
Him learning his mother only uses him as a pawn and how he's never meant anything more then that to him was devastating. He sees the love Ruhi gets from the family. Just how much Ishita can fight for her and he too wants the same. He wants his mother to fight for him. Or anyone for that matter to want him so desperately. But all he's getting is abandonment. He doesn't want that for Ruhi. He saw what she had to go through and the family had to go through. And its nothing less than a mirror to what he's undergone. He did fight for her today and not for himself like his mother has taught him to.

I am going to be all brutal and state this. A lot of people on the forum say Raman differs between his kids, and they say its because Adi is a boy. I believe he's not the one who feels any difference. It's us who differentiate. It's how we see it and now how it exactly is.

Had it been Ruhi in place of Adi, had she been taken away by Shagun when she divorced him. Raman would have been in the same state and in the fix he is today. He is a father to both. Both these kids mean the world to him. How can he possibly want to choose one over the other. Rather I feel sorry that he's always had to choose one or the other. He could never have both under the same roof. He has never been able to have both by his side. If he's ever wanted to be with one, the other is taken away from him.

For Raman its choosing between hell or high water. Here ANY decision he makes its his loss. He isn't going to feel any less guiltier than he is at this moment.

We as viewers have always been attached to Ishita Raman and Ruhi as family. They're on the banner, they are the soul and base of the show's story and they are whose journey's we've seen all along. But Adi is as much a part of this family. He is Raman's son. How can Raman leave him to feel the way he is. At the brink of wanting to end his life?

Then again Ruhi's pain and her insecurities are just as sensitive as Adi's.
She's had severe abandonment issues too. Always pining for her fathers love, not knowing where her mother really is. When Ishita walked in her life, she changed everything for her. She made Ruhi's world complete. And now after being secure again, being hopeful again.. all that's snatched away from her in a second. And all that she's hanging onto is, her faith on her Ishima and her parents. So yes the break of that trust will hurt her like nothing else. And that cannot be ignored.

I cannot possibly gauge anyone's pain and turmoil at this moment. Raman's confusion, the pressure on him to help both his kids rise from the mess he unintentionally pushed them into. Ishita's pain on staying away from Ruhi. If Ruhi got everything when Ishita came into her life, same goes for Ishita. All she has today is because of Ruhi too. And of course I've said all I could about the kids.

It's tricky and sensitive. But like you said it doesn't look murky or horrendous. I am sure that the spoilers aren't going to be as we perceive them. Have to see how it plays out.

Have to give it to the writers for touching on such sensitive issues. Just hope over and over for them not to make these issues too dramatic for their own interests.

For the v first time u are positive about such a disappointing track. The story is clearly moving towards wat the spoilers are stating Which is quite disappointing.

This is an extremely uncalled for track. They have targetted the very soul of yhm - ishima n ruhi.

It seems as if ruhi will never be back to ishita.

As a father of Adi, he might be right. One thing is true. Raman always chooses adi over Ruhi. There are so many proofs from the beginning of Yhm to till now. She is a girl child with 7years old. She must have the good family atmosphere. Simmi's words to her father is totally true. Ek Adi keliye...Its total crap... I am searching for main leads . Is it now ADI is the mail sole lead of YHM.

as you know me, my posts are always about 100% reflection of that day's episode...and this was just that...I try not to react to OLVs because they dont give a complete picture of what's going to happen...So I'm holding my guns about them till they air.

I loved today's episode..it's brutal but made complete sense, hence my positive reaction to it.

Raman needed to know how badly his and Shagun's decisions are tearing apart their children...Shagun doesn't care but Raman does...and he's not going to just sit around and do nothing about it. hence my positivity.

I'll have to disagree with you...this has nothing to do with girl child vs boy child or Adi vs ruhi...and as much as we love Ruhi, we cant ignore the fact that Adi is Raman's son too...
