Amazing writing..I don't know why but after reading your note maybe rushed through it,I thought or rather assumed that Raman went through his divorce with ishita and that this was ishita's funeral and then I read it through to the end and realized that it was Shagun.

And I went through the story again and all fell into place and very beautifully at that...
Parents will always share a bond and Raman also had totally committedly ( I'm pretty sure that isn't actually a word) lived his relation with her before it went south...you conveyed this very well.

And what amazes me is that the story that I was thinking that I was reading until I got to the end and the actual story both felt totally right to me...

Thank you Mandu 😊. Glad to know you liked it and could connect the story both ways. I always imagined the Shagun Raman scene though ... just tweaked it a bit to mingle it with the divorce track.

any way nice OS..
I LIKED IT
...

Like I told Kri, in my view, our mind has the ability to keep strange details .. sometimes when we hate people, we do tend to believe that we do not remember anything about them anymore, but memories have a strange way of coming back right at the weirdest of times. So, I could see him recalling all the good times he spent with her... though this does not change anything in his present .. it is just the strange desire in that moment to think about What if ... to keep the cake and have it too ...

But then, I respect your POV and definitely it is possible that Raman does not remember a thing and just mourns her death without them.

Thank you for reviewing 😊

At first I thought it was Ishida, post the divorce that is in the story now, and the husband was Mani. Even when i reread it, it could fit this scenario as well. In fact, till i read Shagun's name, i was even thinking of Shagun. But I do agree with you, I think its totally normal for Raman to grieve for Shagun, given that she was a major part of his lives for 6 years, and that if nothing, she is the mother if his children. Great writing!!

Thank you Nargis 😊. I actually experimented with this idea where I tried to merge the Shagun Raman scene into the present divorce track and see the outcome. This is the result of my jumbled thoughts in 40 minutes. So am glad to know that it was liked when it was penned down in so less time.

That was brilliant B - I thought it was Ishita's funeral and I was so sad, thinking he had letting for Singapore and had never seen her again, that he had missed his whole life, just as she had said.

But it was Shagun. Relief.

I agree with you that Raman will always have a remnant of his old love for Shagun in his heart - he stopped loving her a long time ago, but memories have an odd habit of making us forget the bad times, and only keeping in us the essence of the good times. And besides Raman and Shagun have two children, and as Raman said of Ishita " apni beti ke bahane tum se juda rahoonga" so it is with Shagun.

Brilliant, disturbing OS.

👏 👏

Hahaha .. I know you told me about it ... glad to know you liked it though ... so it was Shagun .. relief ... i actually visualized your expressions on it LOL ... 😃

Very rightly said, Shagun was his everything for a considerable amount of time so him recalling his good times with her when she is about to make her final journey is but natural as per me.

By the time i reached the end and figured out it was Shagun, i had a 100 questions in my head!!!!

Phew!!!!

So well written...👏

You tho rock hamesha hi, but i like this slightly different touch.. I also liked ur explanations/assumptions that u added...

And i completely agree with you... Relationships may turn sour, but memories dont... Im sure a part of Raman wil always cherish the happy moments he had with Shagun.. After all, Adi and Ruhi are evidence of those moments.. So its only fair he said those words to her atleast on her death bed..

Awesome bhanu di!! 😳😳 And good u didnt bring in ishita.. I guess it can be left our interpretation to know whether she was there or not.. And same with siblings... Time is the biggest heaer.. If Shagun had indeed married Ashok, that means shegot what she wanted too.. and that means Adi's main grouse - that his mother is alone has been dealt with.. And so its natural that the siblings came around burying the hatchet and behaving like brother and sister..

👏👏👏 You are so good with these scenes leaving some food for thought..

Yaayy to u bhanu diii.. I love you 🤗

Bhu 🤗

Your comment made me blush ☺️

I did try something different and that is why I did the shameless advertising as well 😛.

Never knew that I will willingly write something on Shagun and Raman 😲
But alas ... I had a discussion about this with someone (damn my memory for not recalling where and when it was with) that they will indeed recall each other when saying goodbyes a final time.

And yes, if Shagun and Ashok got together, the kid will sort out most of his grudges, as such with the episodes, my heart goes out for the expressionless bacha.
Love you back BhuDevi 😆🤗
