You have touched an angle that I never anticipated. I loved it and even I feel Raman would definitely mourn for Shagun at least for a brief moment.

First up thanks for PM.
Beautifully written...I suspected ishita..but did a double take when u mentioned has it been sixteen years...and you sayvthat ruhi is also sixteen years. So that was the biggest clue that it could could be shagun.
I agree with every point of yours...no matter how much the relationship went south u start one with good intentions.Raman might have shared good memories with shagun.and what he said to shagun was forgiving her on her final journey.
What ever it is I loved it and cried also ...written beautifully 👏 👏

This was some creativity Bhanu. Something so disturbing but written so well...simply brilliant. Been meaning to read it since morning but finally got down it now.
This was heart wrenching. But this is what makes the character of Raman Kumar Bhalla so endearing...a facet that Appa saw before others could even have a clue. Yes he hates Shagun and Ashok...normal for him to do so but what makes him stand apart is his ability to rise above that hatred and do something that is nothing but only humane. Your past defines you and makes you what you are today...your choice to rise above it or sink in it.

Brilliant my friend 👏

Bhanu like I already told you I am surprised by this OS and pleasantly so.

The title at first made me assume it revolves around the current insane track...then I read this and assumed you gave it a twist of your own and made him come back after ages and perhaps regret, realize and repent what he did, what he gave up on and then came the shocker!

That woman who died is Shagun!!!!

Brilliant manipulation there my friend hats off to you for this, I can actually imagine something like this frankly and its very realistic.

Even if they divorced, they were married at a point of time in their lives and have children together so even though the death of his ex-wife shouldnt make a dent on his life, the death of the woman who gave birth to his children would and could affect him.

I love how in the end he forgave her, I have always believed moving on isnt merely acceptance its forgiving and letting go too.

Aani 🤗

You already that this one was kind of inspired from one of your work ... so thank you for your works 😃

I do not remember where and with whom but I had a discussion about this piece with someone where I said that definitely when either of them passes away the other one will definitely shed a tear or two because both of them were together at one point of time.

Thank you for concurring to my POV.

Ur take on the OS was really very nice. Think, we have discussed this more. Not sure...but i differ in one place.

Raman will definitely be affected by Shagun's death but i am not sure if Shagun's memories will stay inside Raman. Betrayal is not something that can be easily forgiven. Had i been Raman, i wouldn't keep any of those memories inside me even when the same seems difficult. It is difficult because of their kids who connect these estranged parents. I might have them inside me because i'm unable to throw it out but not because i want it.

I discussed this with you ... thank you ... I vaguely remember discussing this POV with someone somewhere .. guess must the LU then ... Well I respect your POV, however disagree with those ... people whom we loved at one point and ended up hating due to circumstances .. we may say that we do not remember anything about them ... but in my view, our heart and brain has a strange memory .. it will bring back those memories to haunt us at strange times ... it does not change our future but sometimes forces us to ponder on what ifs ...

But then as I said, its my POV. Whatever happens in this case is strictly based on individual and whatever you said is possible also.

Thank you for reviewing 🤗
