That was brilliant B - I thought it was Ishita's funeral and I was so sad, thinking he had letting for Singapore and had never seen her again, that he had missed his whole life, just as she had said.

But it was Shagun. Relief.

I agree with you that Raman will always have a remnant of his old love for Shagun in his heart - he stopped loving her a long time ago, but memories have an odd habit of making us forget the bad times, and only keeping in us the essence of the good times. And besides Raman and Shagun have two children, and as Raman said of Ishita " apni beti ke bahane tum se juda rahoonga" so it is with Shagun.

Brilliant, disturbing OS.

Bhanu di!!!!!!

By the time i reached the end and figured out it was Shagun, i had a 100 questions in my head!!!!

Phew!!!!

So well written...👏

You tho rock hamesha hi, but i like this slightly different touch.. I also liked ur explanations/assumptions that u added...

And i completely agree with you... Relationships may turn sour, but memories dont... Im sure a part of Raman wil always cherish the happy moments he had with Shagun.. After all, Adi and Ruhi are evidence of those moments.. So its only fair he said those words to her atleast on her death bed..

Awesome bhanu di!! 😳😳 And good u didnt bring in ishita.. I guess it can be left our interpretation to know whether she was there or not.. And same with siblings... Time is the biggest heaer.. If Shagun had indeed married Ashok, that means shegot what she wanted too.. and that means Adi's main grouse - that his mother is alone has been dealt with.. And so its natural that the siblings came around burying the hatchet and behaving like brother and sister..

👏👏👏 You are so good with these scenes leaving some food for thought..

Yaayy to u bhanu diii.. I love you 🤗

Thank you so much for the PM, first off.👍🏼

Next- what a beautiful, poignant piece of work this is.

I really love it- it is well written, sympathetic and most of all realistic. I completely agree with you- they had some happy times and he will mourn her loss and the loss of that woman in such a situation. Because that's what we all do, when a loss like this happens we mourn them for the best we saw in them and try to make less of the worst.

I completely understand why Ishu had to be missing here and I appreciate you for writing as positively as possible about Raman Shagun .

Great job!👏

Awww B...it was so poignant and brilliantly written!
I actually assumed it to be Ishita at the beginning because of the situations, u see but then somewhere as I read, i felt it was Shagun. and I am happy that it was her and not Ishita because parting away from Ishita and then her remarrying was someone else isnt something I would be able to connect at this moment but then yeah EK show and mega serial concepts might work out such illogical things as well

Adi-Ruhi bond was simple and very much real. true that blood is thicker than water and we turn to our dear ones when at grief. this sort of scares me for the show as well. I just hope Ruhi doesnt turn against her Ishima. I wouldnt be able to accept it at all.

Anyways, this was superbly written! kudos for the 40 minute feat...👏

Beautifully written B ... loved the subtle emotions and Raman's feelings you have written about. For a second there, it seemed as if its Ishita but later I wondered. And loved Raman's POV about remembering the good and what was beautiful at one point of time.

Sorry for the late comment yaara ...but you know am off forum nowadays. Finally got to read this 😃

Bhanu 🤗 Sorry for this delay.. You know I've been busy na.

Ok wow, this One shot was intense, so deep and thoughtful. Raman and Shagun's relation has been shown in one light so far, it's been the deceit from Shagun's end and Raman's bitterness towards it. But there definitely was a time when they had happy memories, when they were in love and built memories. The relation soured, there was a separation. But every relation that exists has memories attached to it and this One shot signified that. It was a beautiful ending to whatever it was that existed between the two and although it was a sad end, it left back a feeling of completion.

Wonderful writing Bhanu. You're so amazing with words and thoughts, you should write more oftenly 😃

This was something very different and heart touching.
when ppl seperate from each other there always stays one string which attached them. Hatred is one kind of feeling,a strong one.
The relation went pale at one time but it still gave memories that they would cherish lifetime. Here the relation was of Hubby-wifey plus of parents.
I loved the last line.Read it thrice already.
For it is in Giving and forgiving. I came across a quote which i love the most. "Life becomes easier when to learn to aceept an apology you never got" Raman did that.
Great writing. Would love to read more of your work!

Beautifully written ! They have been divorced for 16 years already still there was something left between them apart from their kids are those memories. Be it love or hate they keep moving along with you. The portion where he spoke in her ears that he frees her of all the hatred. Really emotional. Great one 👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you for the Pm 😳
