Is there an other sad BG because as far as I remember this one has always been the sad one 😕

It's funny that you mentioned Raman reacting mildly on the Shagun thing coz while I would not call him an henpecked husband, some forum waasis have felt that Raman has been more of a bystander since param's entry 😆

I myself wasn't satisfied on the why he let param enter and then even asked Ishita to tie rakhi (it isn't any protection!). I felt back then that he was easily convinced. Ishita only said she thought it the sole/best solution (again that self righteousness😡) for showing Simmi the truth. I was like chalo, let's wait and watch, at least he was shown displeased with the situation and maybe the brother in him wanted to take that leap of faith that it could actually work and decided to trust his wife on the matter

So in this context this night didn't really appear any different IMO. I was glad that he did voice his hurt and his incredulity over what she has done.

If we take it technically he didn't have much of a choice. 😆His wife didn't want to hear reason and Shagun already entered and was semi unconscious on his bed. What was he to do? Biwi was not budging and already decided for them. All was already done, why create a ruckus? Biwi was being thick headed. Plus he isn't inhuman either to throw Shagun on streets in such vulnerable state...

Ruby do you mean to say that he had an ulterior motive? That to use this "opportunity" to get it into thick headed biwi that he has moved on, he truly doesn't feel anything anymore for his ex (that Ishita already don't get that is incomprehensible to me) and then "push" her into claiming her place as his wife, claiming him in the process? 😕

There is a male version of the BG score .. it plays when there is DEEP HURT & SADNESS .. ( the one they played when she is asked to leave the house & she looks back at him .. in deep hurt & sadness ... prima facie wud've thot thats exactly the situation now ... & should've played out ... the BG score & the time spent on it really caught me )

Its interesting .. i have given a creative version of this scene on Leo's post .. will paste it here after this post ... but when u look at the scene .. .Ishita is in the room ... if u note her face is not clearly shown .. as it is very DIM lighting in the room ...
Where as Raman's face is quite clear in the balcony ...
The creative rendition was very interesting to me ..

Interestingly when u focus on his dialogs ... THEY ARE QUESTIONS ... they are not statements ... if he was ONLY angry .. he would pass angry statements .. here he is angry .. ..but his anger is ridden with questions ... he fires questions on her ... where as TOSHI clearly passed statements ...

Also his final statement to her is ... GO AWAY BEFORE I SPEAK BADLY OF U TO U ... basically don't provoke me to speak out ... this struck me ... it could be a simple dialog of an angry man go away .. but Raman loves shouting on her & releasing his anger ... but connect it to the scene just before ... he is WORRIED FOR HER .. she is late & not picking up her phone .. then he patiently listens to marriage advice from his father ... he apologises to her as soon as he opens the door ... a lot of this is a NEW IMPROVED VERSION of RAMAN BHAlLA ... 😉

The central meaning to both Toshi & Raman's statements & questions was one thing only ... CONCERN FOR ISHITA ...

Its a very interesting look at that image .. but i looked at this with another lens .. the lens of the distance that still needs to be covered between the leads .. for that ultimate I LOVE U ...

Personally i don't believe in symobolisms .. coz the writer who decides what happens in the serial never does visit the set .. this is a creative interpretation of the director ..
But having said that .. lets look at this shot ..

Ishita is sitting on a stool .. while there is a image of Shagun in the mirror ..

Ishita on a stool .. thats the camera focus ... Shagun's image is there ... but the most important thing is .. THERE IS NO RAMAN IN THIS SHOT >> NOT IN THE ROOM NOT IN THE PICTURE AT ALL ...
Ishita is moved slightly away from the mirror .. not facing the mirror directly where there is an image of Shagun's ... right ??

My interpretation of this shot ...

Shagun is the image ... she is the PAST ... but since Ishita is facing slightly away from the mirror she is still not able to completely come to TERMS WITH THE PAST .. which has SHAGUN ... hence her belief that raman loves Shagun still ...

Raman not being in this frame ... Raman has DEALT with his past .. aka his dialog .. its taken me 6 years to get this woman out of my house & heart ... BUT SINCE ISHITA never pays attention to what Raman is saying .. she is facing away from the mirror .. the day she focusses on Raman's words .. she would be facing the mirror .. & there she would be able to see that SHAGUN is an image .." a parchhai ".. .a PAST ... where she needs to firmly stay ...

This is as i have said time & again .. the Romance track .. or the title track of YEH HAI MOHABBATEIN ... for these 2 to travel the distance they need to cover the spectre of the past ... a past which is a shadow .. a past which is a blurred image on the mirror .. but that can be obliterated only when one faces the past ... & when they actually talk to each other ...

DHANASHREE .. this ones for u ... 😳

Hey everyone just went over the thread and am sorry cant make replies to everyone personally but to those who agree with me thank you - Ruby,Autumn, Bhanu, mysha & banana.ishra - glad I could find some acceptance for something which I thought would be discarded completely.
Coming to those who disagree - Zene, Vyas and Aeryn - no issues about that. We all have opinions which we are free to express and agree or disagree about.

I am not saying Ishita did the right thing all I am saying is things are a catch 22 situation here and therein lies the interpretation of it and how wrong or right is someone. And I never said Ishita did the right thing - all I am laying out is where she stands. Like Autumn wrote on page 7 -Ishita still has no right to sleep on their bed so it really wasn't her focal point to consider. It makes sense now from Ishita's pov. And this Raman understood hence his restlessness.

Now I am not certain if Raman has indeed understood this or not but one thing is sure this is about addressing the elephant in the room - opening a can of worms.

Bhanu is a married woman here from those I know on the thread, I am unaware about others so cant comment on that - but her disgust - I see that and agree with... it is the repulsion of the thought even that something like this could happen - coming from a wife - a woman with a normal, loving marriage.

In this case the marriage has yet to sink in, in the way it ought to be . Recently Ishita had a scene where she develops goosebumps and flushes when she realizes she has started to think of Raman as her pati... something which she never did before - she has been Mrs. Bhalla for months now - but only in the namesake, she has a nameplate outside her home and one on her table in the clinic too... but BUT in her mind she is still not Mrs. Bhalla.

The scene I mentioned above - she says she finds it weird to think of him as her hubby.

We all are aghast at her move to take Shagun to her bedroom and put her to sleep on her bed - but only one thing could have stopped Ishita from doing that even if she had helped Shagun - and I am not talking about the consummation bit here - no I am speaking of awareness, of the realization that this room, this bed isn't just hers - its theirs - hers and Raman's - as a couple.

A normal woman would cringe at the mere thought of her bed having her husband' ex - wife or gf- but a normal woman would do that only when she has feelings for the said man which are romantic in nature, when she would envision the man as ONLY her own and the bed as theirs - their marital bed.

Now two things need to happen for this - 1) Ishita has to realize she isn't a sole entity and she is in a relationship - a marriage at that, which would need processing and the man she shares the room with isn't a roommate but her HUSBAND and she cannot share him or what is theirs... but for this to happen even the second thing is necessary and I suppose equally if not more important which is the man has to lay his cards out in the open - let her know where he stands regarding them, their relationship and that too openly.

Yes Ishita has begun understanding Raman BUT she still doesn't know all of him like Ruby said - they have come to know each other but they aren't in sync here. Even if Ishita realizes her feelings for Raman, for this marriage she still cannot work it all alone here - he is needed - he would have to play his part - express what he feels for her, wants from her and them in this. You cannot bank on someone understanding you without being vocal about things always and in certain cases NOT at all.

When during the case thing Shagun accused Ishita of stealing evidence and they had that scene in their bedroom he asked her about the same gently - showing his mistrust, misunderstanding of her and she showed hers by accusing him of still being in love with Raman. She cleared his doubts by first speaking up and later handing him the photo but he NEVER did. To this date that convo has been left incomplete which he did only now when she put Shagun in the room when he said - it took him 6 years to remove the woman from his life and heart. And by then the act had happened.

Now while Ishita has learned one important thing in this scene - that Raman no longer loves Shagun she is yet to learn something even MORE important - what he feels for her.

Not loving Shagun doesn't automatically make him fall in love with Ishita after all - he has hated her for years now but he hasnt even known Ishita for a year... so while Raman completed that convo which was long overdue... they have another one in the making now where he has to speak up about what he feels for Ishita.

Rem it cannot become a marital bed by merely Ishita accepting her feelings - cos in a one way thing she wont and cant force herself on him nor can merely sleeping on that bed make it theirs... it can become theirs when Raman makes her join in - when he WANTS her there.

And once that happens Ishita would cringe at the thought of a fact she already was well aware of even when their marriage was fixed - that he has shared a bed with another woman before her, he has been married - Ruhi didn't come out of thin air... but for that too happen - Ishita has to become Mrs. Raman Bhalla not just on a nameplate or for namesakes - she has to feel that she is.

I would give a simple answer why Raman did not throw Shagun out himself

He simply did not want to touch her in any way haha

I agree wid u about what u said about Mirror n past. But does Ishita takes her relationship seriously? People said that the bed symbolism shud not b taken seriously coz they dont share that kind f relationship? Ishita is currently in a completely platonic relationship with her husband again as people r putting it up here n she thinks as people have posted here that Raman is in love with his past so y wud she look or think about her n Raman having a future. She is confused about mixed signals from Raman 😕 even she tried to confront him kahi aapko mujhse pyar nahi hua hai ? He said No. ? N then fake confession so y think about something that u think is not plausible in the first place.
Y shud she think about a happy future with Raman just because she is married to him n she has to live with it n she has no other option?

I agree there was concern for Ishita.

I've said it in Leo's post that Toshi wasn't really scolding but more of a warning for Ishita to be cautious, it was for her benefit. That isn't surprising though. Toshi has always been the one to encourage Ishita to claim her place as Ruhi's mother (outside of courtroom in Ruhi custody track) and as Raman's wife (during accident when a picnic with Shagun and kids was decided). Toshi has always been the one warning Ishita against Shagun. Unfortunately Ishita has brushed it aside. She didn't really pay heed to it.

Ishra now have a changed equation. Raman cares for her that's a given. Perso I am just glad that the concern doesn't erase the hurt and anger.

I like your interpretation of mirror scene even though Ruby to be honest I have an hard time believing Ishita to be so thick headed to not already realize that he is truly over Shagun after all he has done and said... Wasn't that reaffirmed to her at the end of accident track anyway? Oh well...*sigh*

I was never worried for Ishra. It's a given that they will come closer. Here just hoping that the journey will be more enjoyable and convincing than it is at present. Let's wait and watch
