Firstly .. thank u all for contributing ur thots .. its made the discussion lively .. & whats more so many different POV's have come forth ...
Any creative work put forth has many different interpretations ... what connects with one may not connect with the other ... in this discussion .. we could fairly say 50% of the people identify with Ishita & 50% of the people don't .. in such a case where there is an audience the writer will try to cater ...But just to continue the spirit of discussion ... heres another food for thot ... yes we have all blamed Ishita for putting Shagun on her marital bed ... now let me open another can of worms ..WHAT STOPPED RAMAN FROM MOVING SHAGUN OUT OF THE SAID BED ???? he could've put his foot down .. he has never hesitated in being MEAN to ISHITA (even after an ILOVEU moment) he could've gone to RUHI's room carried her in their room & asked Ishita to shift Shagun to Ruhi's room ... yes one understands that Shagun was drunk out of her wits .. & to make her sleep in the living room where she would be exposed to all who would walk into the bhalla household in the morning was not acceptable .. but there were alternatives which RAMAN could've come up with ... WHY DID HE NOT .. WHY DID HE CHOOSE TO SHUT UP ???Would love if u guys could throw this open for discussion ... i found this aspect much much more interesting ...On a personal level i abhor the fact that Ishita the woman put her husbands ex wife on her own bed ... but from an analysis POV i want to wait & watch the Ashok scene before i would like to comment on it creatively .. simply .. coz .. Param's call to Ashok highlighted only one thing .> SHAGUN IS IN RAMAN's BED ... that was an interesting dialog .. & would like to see if the writer finally gives us their reason for this bed sharing thru the follow thru scene ..

bhanu is also right., he will not do that being ex-wife but i think of another reason was more prominent that his focus was not shagun. his focus was it s Ishita who din care about his feelings and his wounds. he realized it s his wife s decision to hurt him knowingly or unknowingly what ever .
For him, last night she was not different from shagun or ashok who intentionally enjoyed his pain and never had guilt for it. it s not like ishu does not know who is shagun . still she goes and rubs her on his face. this is why he was hurt. while doing samaj seva she forgot her priority is her family and her husband and it s forbidden when it comes to woman who is reason of your spoiled life.
raman never tried to scratch her wounds infact when ever she uttered about her inability of conceiving, he always diverted topic, and by mistake when he blurted out he immediately realized and diverted it to lack of their physical relations, she can not be preggy. and never asked about even subbu. when he asked he was hesitate not because of only jealousy, he din t want to make her recall all that pain.
and rest is ashok-raman confrontation, you remember mumbai trip, adi was ill and raman stayed in shagun s room ashok got to know he accused raman, so same thing will happen here. so am not interested in that but i want to know this time what exactly words are instigating raman to get violent
Zeno ... like Ruby said ... it is indeed a can of worms .. so I beg to disagree with you in this case ... He will be angry from Ishita ... super angry but I do not think that in his sane mind he can ever compare her with Ashok or Shagun .. they are evil people ... Ishita is a gem .. and she has committed a mistake ... not a crime ... All I wanted to say is she has committed a grave mistake, one which is not at all acceptable ... lekin kintu parantu .. I cannot agree to your logic that she is trying to scratch his wounds .. she did a sensible thing in bringing Shagun a safe place ..
The major problem in the entire scene for me is miscommunication ... however, after reading Aani's post in this thread ... I somehow agree that it may well be the catalyst to a much needed confrontation between them where they finally talk without barriers ..
I guess Ruby also pointed in the same direction from her post but my cells refused to get up on a lazy Sunday ... and did not get the hint .. It took a late night post from Aani ...
So, Zeno, Aani, Ruby ... the eternal fairy tale romantic in me finally saw a ray of hope and I really really wish that CV's feel the same too ...
Yet at the end ... as a woman first and a wife later .. bringing husband's ex into the bedroom is still a hard pill to digest for me ...
Gosh ... wanna forget this fact and move on to the confrontation and something clche like Ham Aapke Hain Kaun ...
