But Raman has felt her concern, her love in her actions thus has been shown as wanting to live the relationship in all sense...solely based on what is felt between the both of them

Reverse however is not true and that is frustrating. What Ishita wants from marriage is not shown.
She doesn't work on it, she is just content being bahu, maa, sis in law etc
It has been shown she is in love with him. Wouldn't she then instinctively show signs of wanting more from the relation? She is really passive about it all...

BANG ON BANG ON ...

I have written pages & pages of post on this ...
We all know they secretly love each other ...but the relation is stagnant ...
we all know they trust each other ... but they don't speak frankly to each other they hide behind lies
we all know there is genuine sexual tension between these 2 ... but they hesitate with every intimacy even of a slight touch ...

These 2 have to TRUST THEMSELVES FIRST ... i have written this in the past .. to understand ISHITA's state of mind .. it is a must to see her scene with her mother during the accident track ... SHE TRULY BELIEVES TRUE LOVE IS NOT FOR HER ... & its all linked to the fact that she can't concieve .. she in her mind is HALF A WOMAN ... hence she over compensates with EXTRA CARE to people .

Raman had lost everything in love .. for him love is all encompassing ... so even though he trusts Ishita .. he says the words & back tracks on them ... till he can't trust himself on his ability to NOT LOOSE HIMSELF IN LOVE ..he will not be able to take this relation further as well ..

Finally dunno shud i take it as a red herring or not. But twice Toshiji has told Ishu that she will suffer for her goodness towards Shagun. 😆

Wud that mean cvs want to give a message that humanity n goodness will end in suffering for urself.
😛 weird.

she walks in dumps Shagun on the sofa ... what does Raman do .. he walks out ... whom should she ask permission from ... Only when Shagun starts to make NOISE .. & disturbs everyone around ..only when no one is forthcoming with any solution does she take Shagun into her room ...

what happened there .. Toshi ... Simmi .. raman .. started firing her ...did anyone ask at any point why have u brought her here ... let Ishita explain in entirety what transpired .. ...they left her to deal with the situation ... she dealt with it .. albeit VERY VERY BADLY ...

Ruby she described all that shagun had fight with ashok or suraj and she was drunken on road . before raman could say anything, bhalla s came out and hangama, shagun s voice was irking raman so he rushed out and when he was back, he saw his past on his bed brought by his friend who he wants to start with now knowing her all dedication to his daughter and his family and he felt attraction towards her as a woman .

Well Ruby this is incredibly off putting then

Fact still remains that when you live in close quarters, respecting others is a must. If Ishita has thought along that line then she is incredibly egoistic, unsensitive...
Asking permission in this situation would have not made her a submissive gopi bahu but just someone who respects feelings of other...she shares that room, she doesn't own it

... let me add once more ... I hated this move of bringing the ex wife in ur marital bed .. its unpalatable to me to ...i have given a couple of solutions myself on what could've been shown ... but its not something i can't ignore ... to let the writer take the story forward

Ruby

Well yes she has badly badly badly badly handled it 😆

Her dialogue "why are you angry" to Raman and her very arrogant attitude of my way or the highway throughout the epi killed it for me ...I could not digest it at all hence am unable to brush the whole incident aside

The girl just doesn't get it and until she realizes what huge blunder she made I won't be Ok

I don't mind her making mistakes as long as there is introspection and sincere apologize for being so callous

Well have to go. Was nice discussing with everyone. Controversy does make the forum more lively 😆
Bye all 🤗

@bold - exactly Ruby she believes love is not for her and what makes her unlovable - the fact she cannot procreate - which is the repercussion of the words a man said to her when he chose to dump her - love fades within a few years from a marriage and that is when kids become the reason two people stay together ... in her mind that has left an everlasting impression... when the man who loved her could say this in a moment - it made an impact on her mind.

Something which I am sure she heard in her head so many times she began believing it as the truth.

No one can love her because she cannot bind someone with herself forever since she cannot provide that one thing which is her inability - a child.

@red - Raman doesn't do anything by half a measure and hence he is scared if he goes in... he would submerge and that has him scared - what if she rejects him... recently he was pissed when she talked about Subu and when she mentioned moving on she talked how her family helped, how Ruhi became her savior.

He wasn't even mentioned. It bothered him.

To him - she doesn't consider him a partner, someone important enough for her ... someone who matters to her even if only as a friend... while she didn't and couldn't name him because she doesn't know if he even thinks of her as more than the woman raising his daughter... and she is scared to get her hopes high here because he not only dismisses her time and again as a woman but he says the words sacred to her I Love you time and again and takes them back making them a mockery, a joke.

The only time she has hugged him - she made it clear whats on her mind and how it made her feel to hear those words from him like that when she said - I DON'T love you.

This is the classic case of immovable object meets unstoppable force - the only thing is... they both are in their own ways immovable and unstoppable - so their collision is bound to have some interesting effects as their roles are not fixed nor permanent - in fact this role reversal time and again is what makes their conundrum even more delicious.

I am guessing all are argued out On "sauten aayi ghar kaand "
So lets open another can of worms ...

Yes we all know Ishita has not CONSULTED Raman on bringing Shagun to the Bhalla home ... but at least on asking she was willing to give her side of the story ...

But But But ... Raman has KEPT A VERY BIG SECRET hidden from Ishita as well ... That of their SOON to BE INTERCONNECTED PAST ... in the name of SHAGUN ...

whats more if Ishita was arrogant ... Raman was downright rude when Ishita questioned him ... In fact she has point blank asked him ...but has NOT GOT ANY REPLY BACK ...

Would love ur views on this ... is this a case for whats sauce for the goose & all .. or is it simply ... MILES TO GO BEFORE I LEAP ...

If I have to explain my mindset at the moment regarding my stance on this scene ... I will say ... I am CONFUSED.

So, the wife in me would have taken the following alternative routes.

1. First and foremost, called Raman and explained. No time for surprises. I would called him even before taking her to Ashok's place. And then called him again to explain the scenario at the gate of Khanna house.
BTW, a huge blooper ... Khanna house is not a mansion .. they always show a big apartment complex. Unless, Khanna mansion has been inspired from the Ambanis, how the heck the guard stopped her at the gate. I mean, they informed the entire society by doing something like this 😲 ...

2. I will call Ashok. Yup. He did not know a single thing. I will call him and if he acts smart, give him a piece of my mind and give an always ready lecture to him.
I will call Bala jiju and ask him to put her in their house.
3. Damn Amma ki beemari and sleeping. I will wake Appa up and explain and they will manage. This is something sensitive considering it will bring havoc in their daughter's home.

However, as Aani and Ruby have been trying to explain, I do see another angle to it. The woman in me cannot digest it because am a happily married woman with the soul owner of my husband's life. So, my bedroom is off limits for anyone else or the thought itself it repulsive for me.

However, for Ishita and Raman ... it is not their bedroom as in not in the perfect sense ... more than the consummation, it is not their bedroom because of the absence of acknowledgement of any kind ..
the fact that they need to say .. yes, this is what a husband does, or this is what only beewi can do ... there are unsaid silent rules to a relationship ... and they are equally important as the physically aspect.
So, at the moment, their relationship is somewhat platonic ... I will not say truly platonic because both of them have directly or indirectly started moving towards the awareness track.
Yet, when you are not so sure about the status of your relationship, it may not even occur to you that something like this may be a blunder. If today as a woman, I do not feel that I have complete and the soul rights on the life of my husband then will it bother me that much that.

For Ishita, it may be the same thing. She did what a normal good human being would have done given the situation. I am ready to give her the benefit of doubt that may be ... just may be ... the human being has not realized that she is also a wife ... and on top of it a woman who carries a baggage of constant rejection ... even from her husband ... so mixing all these things may actually lead her to behave this way ...

Just my thoughts

SO SO SO TRUE Aani ...

i love this love story purely because of the dichotomy & irony involved ... in any love story theres just one OBSTACLE .. here there are 2 obstacles ... THE MIND & THE HEART .. of both these 2 people ...

Its the irony of their tale that makes me palate the unpalatable ... They have such deep understanding & care for the other ... but in the MOST IMPORTANT OF ISSUES .. they both are CLUELESS ABOUT THE OTHER ...
