And Also glad you love the quotes... personally I enjoy books where a chapter or a volume begin with a epigraph - they give away the gist of the piece and yet reveal nothing... so I start thinking too

Now on to the piece:

When I started reading, I thought you were describing Ishu's turmoil, but as it progressed, I was wondering why are you showing Ishu in this light?

That was the idea when I began... to throw my readers a zinger and from the comments I have read so far... I would say mission successful 😛😎

Anyways, this made me thought of something. Whatever Shagun is - a manipulative and conniving witch - she is a woman. And that's the reason why I thought you were talking about Ishita. And you know, women's pains, when described, always stemmed from the same source - a broken heart. Shagun is also suffering a heartbreak in your story. Just that we refuse to look at it as a heartbreak because of her nasty nature.

hmmm interesting take Vanny, true she is a woman at the end of the day, a horrible one but a woman no less. And its true for even men isnt it? the source of all happiness and discontent is heart after all - the way you feel makes you behave the way you do and here Shagun tasted her own bitter medicine so she is of course not happy

Anyways, before actions, one must be ready to accept the consequences. So after the initial sympathy and Ashok's arrival, I realized why we hate her. She has been the source of many heartbreaks that her own seems so negligible. As sad as it may seem, she herself doesn't even know that her heart is broken. She is too proud to understand such a simple emotion. And this has led to all her wrongdoings. Sighs. Such a disgrace to the womenfolk eh?

you know Vanny I read or heard this somewhere... every person believes they are the hero or heroine of their own story - it stands true for villains too... the only reason they are villains though is because they dont have morals and ethics and if they can achieve something by cutting down the others or it causes someone else damage they have no guilt regarding that. Shagun is the same, she believes she was entitled to have this unchallenged faith and support by everyone - Raman because of their children and Ashok because he is the man she has been with for six long years... so she expected things of them, only in her mind she never thought, they might want things off her too... since as per her she has given them everything they could want and ask - Raman has his kids,Ashok got her... thats her logic

Crap I just understood Shagun better 😳

Anyways, this was such an amazing story dear! I'm in awe at the light you've shed on this shady character.

thanks Vanny I somehow got inspired by this whole track that is all dunno if this will happen ever again at all..😳

P.S. - I don't blame Ashok! And I hope he does this to her in the show as well! 😛

Oh one day Ashok will call her out on her shit all right and that day Ms Shagun would truly have paid for her sins 😉

Okay, so as i started reading, i HONESTLY seriously thought it was Ishita... and Ashok was talking to Ishita :P bht bht der mein suspense khola aapne and when it was revealed its Shagun instead, i was genuinely SHOCKED! 🤣 you said married him instead of something like once got married to... or once married and all so i really thought it was Ishita... i had my doubts, but still! :P LOL

😆 that was the intention to mislead all of you till a point 😎 see I enjoy mysteries a lot so thought why not try to write one and boy is it thrilling 😛 and had I wrote the words once married it would have given my game away 😉

but this was SOO SOO AMAZING!

Fabulous, fabulous, Aani!! I said this in your previous OS and will say it again, you have a very strong command over descriptive language and imagery that allows your reader to imagine the scene play out before their eyes. Your writing is beautiful! I'm rooting for Ashok on the show to make Shagun pay, and how you have it here would be a sight to behold if it actually happens! No matter, we have your OS to hold us over in any case. 😉
