Deepika Padukone says Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar is ‘worth every minute,’ and we’re listening

Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh sparked social media chatter on Friday after Deepika shared her review of Ranveer’s latest release, Dhurandhar. According to Sacnilk, the film collected ?17.44 crore net in India by 6 pm, improving its chances of surpassing ?20 crore by the end of the day. Trade analysts had initially estimated a Day 1 collection of ?15–18 crore, but the late-day surge exceeded expectations.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar features a strong ensemble cast led by Ranveer Singh. Akshaye Khanna delivers a compelling performance as the calculating Rehman, balancing restraint with menace. The film also includes veteran actors Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and R Madhavan, contributing to its layered storytelling and strong performances.
