***EDITED
Your Author's note DESERVES a comment from me :)
😆 I didnt think anything could shake you! YOu are right, Raman needs rattling. I understand what he is doing, and even agree with a lot of it. BUt like I said in some posts, I absolutely dont understand why he is keeping all this from the woman he started sharing so much with!!!
P.S Comparatively I am still cool. It could be because I am busy in my holidays. If I was back home, maybe I would have had time to be more irritated than I am. Holidays end tomorrow, so I know what I have to look forward to... so for my sanity, CVs, please end this track soon!!!
Now, coming to the OS:
- The Quote... made so much sense to me once I completed the story. It was perfect
- I LOVE LOVE this Ishita of yours. Strong, smart and ready to beat Shagun at her own game! If emotional blackmail trapped Raman, then actual blackmail will surely bring Shagun to her knees... and Ishita is still rooted in her morality. She just wants what is best for the kid!!!
- I can see KP enacting this "As soon as she is done so shocked is he by her conclusions that he almost jumps off his chair in his haste, making the chair tumble down with the movement."
- Whistle bajaao moment "Next, I will not ever cheat on you or even divorce you no matter how much you drive me up a wall, I might strangle you one day but never divorce you. "
- ""Save it Raman, just because I understand things doesn't mean I am in a forgiving mood."" >> I obviously LOVE you for writing this line. My Ishita and yours are 'connected' too 😉
- Idhar bhi leke aa gayi tum Subbu ko? Desperate much Aani 😉 😆 Jokes apart, yes... Raman would have actually strangled her if she'd gone to Subbu for comfort!
- "You, your blind love is as much damaging to Adi Raman as is Shagun' ego here. " You said this in reponse to me yesterday too... perfectly placed in your story here!!!
Finally Aani, you shouldnt say you aren't proud of this one. I have told you before (in one of the stories you wrote during the Perv track I think) of a quote that goes something like "an author needs inspiration, perspiration or desperation". Aani, Any story coming out of any of these is worth writing, and worth reading. This was another fine piece from you, and I am glad you wrote this. OK, I will stop preaching now, before you get annoyed at me too :)
Here goes... this one can be interpreted 100 different ways, but I look at it for the inclusiveness in the first line and not the literal words of the other lines. Hope it makes sense to you as it did to me?
"Yet each man kills the thing he loves
By each let this be heard
Some do it with a bitter look
Some with a flattering word
The coward does it with a kiss
The brave man with a sword"
- Oscar Wilde, The Ballad Of Reading Gaol
