Sonu, this one is for you !!! š
Introduction:
A man, who looked like he was in his early thirties, casually walked towards the bar. He seemed rather elated, and each stride that he took exuded a kind of intangible confidence. It seemed as though he had recently won a jackpot. The restaurant authorities were esctatic. They knew he would get drunk to celebrate his victory, whatever it was, consequently helping the restaurant to make large gains.
He indicated the barman to prepare him his customary drink from a distance, and before he could take his seat, a woman bumped into him. She staggered a little, and he placed his hand on her shoulder to steady her. She balanced herself on her feet and smiled, "I'm so sorry. It was my fault...I should've seen where I was going.." she said in an apologetic tone.
The man was determined not to spoil his mood that particular day, so he smiled in return and said, "No problem miss...We all have our clumsy moments" He began to move forward from the right side, but fate had no plans to seperate them so soon. The woman began to move forward from her left side ( Which would be his right side ), thus blocking each other again. She broke into a grin and mumbled, "Oh damn..."
She placed her hands on his shoulders to steady him so she could move past him first. He nodded in consent as she walked past him and out of the bar. The man shook his head and finally made his way to his seat...
Sonia walked out of the bar and took a deep, satisfying breath. It had been a pleasant day. More pleasant than she had expected it to be. She now had enough oxygen to last her for another 2 weeks, and she could already picture herself dining in an expensive restaurant. Her life was like a roaler coaster, she never knew what turn it would take the very next moment. But it was exciting, it was exciting in an addictive way. She could never get enough of it.
She pulled out her mobile phone from her jeans pocket and dialled a number, "Dude, Come to the Hyatt Regency for dinner in 20 minutes. My treat" she smiled as she recieved a consenting 'Ok' in return and disconnected the line.
She smirked inwardly as she extracted a heavy wallet from the other pocket in her jeans. She opened it and flipped through the notes with her finger. This was big money. She deduced that it contained something around 30,000 rupees, 3 credit cards and an ATM card. Lovely, she thought. I can even make a short holiday trip to Rio De Janerio or the Bahamas with this kind of money...This is awesome.
Pickpocketing was an art she had mastered as a small time con artist. She had expertise in some of the regular ways to pickpocket, and had also invented some of her own.
Looks like the man's happiness wasn't meant to last for a long time afterall..she thought to herself as she recalled the events of the bar she had just exited. The man genuinely seemed happy. Alas, he won't be able to pay for his drinks.
The 'bumping into someone' idea had done it's trick...
