PART 3
"She's in"
He smirked to himself and disconnected the line. The fish had fallen for the bait. he had been trying to nail Sonia for a long time now, the vixen was smarter than he had anticipated. He had a personal vendetta against against this woman. She had destroyed everything. Everything.
His blood began to boil in rage as his mind recalled the time when Sonia had betrayed his trust. He had considered her to be his best friend, and she ditched him. His life had been a blur since then. Humiliation, pain, embarresmant, anger..revenge. He wanted retribution, and he would get it.
He dialled another number and said in a sharp and strong voice, "Well done"
He smiled inwardly once again and congratulated himself on the success of the first phase of his plan. Camouflage always helped.

Sonia checked herself in the mirror once again. Everything seemed fine, yet she had an uneasy feeling that something about the way she looked was not ok. It was the first time that Sonia was dressing up professionally, and it made her nervous. When she was about to pick the comb up again, her cell phone rang.
"Hello.."
A female voice spoke, "Where are you ? Hurry up dude...it's 7:45 am! You have to be here in 15 minutes" It was Aditi.
Sonia swiftly glanced at her wristwatch and mentally kicked herself, she had completely lost track of time in her desire to look good, "I'm so sorry yaar..I'm on my way..Hang on" and with that, she disconnected the line.
She quickly took a last look at herself in the mirror, picked up her hand bag and dashed out of the door.

"Where is she?" he asked impatiently. It was 8:00 am and she still wasn't here. He hated latecomers. They radiated a feeling of carelessness which he absolutely despised. Time is wealth. And it is running out.
The woman who stood infront of him said, "I just spoke to her. She should be here any moment"
He snorted and mumbled something under his breath which sounded like, "Careless idiots"
The woman simply sighed, wishing that Sonia arrived before her boss kicked her out for vouching for her.

Sonia's car came to a screeching halt. She ran out of it towards the call center. The board said, "Wipro BPO" - She was in the right place.
She dashed inside, her speed jarred by the pencil heals she had worn for the first time. Aditi came into view as soon as she stepped inside, "You're 5 minutes late! Go in. Quick. He's waiting for you"
Sonia nodded and walked inside the boss's cabin. A tall, lean, middle aged man looked up at her, he had intelligent, calculative eyes. It was not until he started eyeing her attire that Sonia realized that her look had been completely disheveled. She suddenly wished she had a comb with her.
"Sit down" He said, gesturing her to take a seat opposite him. Sonia took the seat and waited for him to continue.
"Let me make this clear. You're here because you were recommended by Aditi. Otherwise, I have no particular interest in interviewing people without a degree" He said in a levelled, toneless voice.
Sonia flinched momentarily as she heard him say 'people without a degree'. She fought the bubbling anger within her and kept a straight face. Mustering up her courage she said, "Sir, I think I can be of great advantage to this Call center regardless"
The man did not seem to notice and continued, "How can you convince me to give this job to you if you don't have a degree ? What skills do you have ?"
Sonia tried to keep her cool and focus all energy on thinking. The man seemed indifferent and it looked like he wanted to get this done quickly so he could go back to what he was doing. She looked him in the eye and said, "It's business. At the end of the day, it's about generating money. I know I can do that"
He seemed to scrutinize every word that she said mentally. He evaluated her response for a moment and said, "Are you capable of handling insult and people slamming the phone down on you?"
Sonia paused. She was defenitely not used to insult and people slamming phones down on her. She was unsure of how to answer the question, then she remembered Rahul's challenge, "Yes. I'm capable enough" she finally said.
He nodded slightly and started writing something on a paper. Without looking up, he said, "Monday morning. 6 am. Sharp. I don't like late comers."
Sonia stared at him, dumbfounded, "You mean..you mean I have the job?"
He continued to scribble something on the paper, "Yes" he said absent-mindedly. Sonia stared at him for another moment as the reality dawned on her. She had the job. She had A JOB!
She smiled and fought to control her excitement, "Thankyou sir..Than-"
"6 am. Don't be late" He finaly looked up. Sonia nodded, "Yes sir, I shall take special care of that"
He nodded and said, "You may leave"

"The game begins" He said to himself and Sonia walked out of the Call Center. He was going to destroy this woman. She would beg him for mercy and all he would give to her is hatred. It had been mounting since 3 years and finally he had cornered her. He looked at his partner, sitting right next to him.
"Your friendship ties with her helped me alot man. Thanks"
He smirked, "Anyday dude. Our plan is finally into action."
"The end of Sonia has begun"
