As most of you know The Breaking Dawn teaser trailer was released today. Its amazing, I know. So the problem is ... For the past few months I have been glad that Rob is moving on from Twilight and doing awesome movies. I was all "Edward Cullen is ruining him." and then today I see the trailer and I am back to square one. DAN DAN DAAAN! Seeing Edward groomed and in a tux just does things to me that I don't wanna even explain. Its so freaking annoying! Water For Elephants was making me believe that Rob has moved on and he isn't gonna be the 'Twilight' guy anymore but NO!!!! It took me months to bring my Edward crush down a bit and after seeing the 17 seconds clip I am back to where I started. I see an image such as this and...I'm back down on my knees worshiping at the alter of Edward Cullen. He truly is an angel. And it just hit me that when I'm sitting in the theatre watching that final scene in part II, knowing that this is it, I'm gonna break.I get all upset the things they've lost in their lives due to all of this...all of this exterior bullsh** surrounding them and then...just seeing an image I realize, the bullsh*t really doesn't matter because it isn't real and it will die...to some degree. But his portrayal of the iconic, archtypal Edward Cullen will live on. Even beyond Rob. It's the work that matters. That is what lives on. The bullshit fades away and is forgotten. I'm gonna try to remember that.
I don't know what I'm gonna do when these movies end , all i know is that Edward Cullen will ALWAYS be Robert Pattinson and when I'm married with Kids and they make a Twilight re-make I will be the pissed off mother who screams about 'ruining hollywood with new bad acting.'
