I was watching the old episodes and I found Malhar was extremely toxic and harsh to our little kalyani. His betrayal made him punish her in the cruelest way . In compare to that Sampada did not get punished much . Now when Kalyani sometimes violates him., misbehaves with him or push him aside for Moksh and Anu. I do not find it wrong . Rather i find she do nothing in compare to what he had done. Sehban 's brilliant acting is responisble that he makes the scene so realistic but It was unfair to the innocent girl and Malhar now a changed man despite his genuine love and concern is suffering for his past deeds. I hope i have not hurt anyone.

I 100% agree with you... this still bothers me,thou I'm a fairly recent viewer.

Sampada was treated like a princess by him when he was under the impression that she, too, loved him... but when the truth came out and she accepted that she married him because AS forced her to do it and that she was betraying him throughout their entire marriage,he didn't do half the stuff against her that he did to Kalyani right after fake death of SamTharva.

Plus,he repeated the same mistake twice afterwards and once left her.

Kalyani really didn't deserve any of it and I wish she had remembered the things she used to try and teach Anu about self-respect, loving yourself and women empowerment.... letting Malhar treat her the way he did for a good amount of their marriage isn't something the original Kalyani would do... she's been butchered along the way to justify and sweep under the rug the awful things Malhar did to her in the earlier days of their marriage.

I wish they'd have opted for a nicely done redemption track for Malhar, instead, where he not only realises his mistakes but does everything in his power to make it up to her and win her back, with her not making it an easy task for him.

Unfortunately her love for Pillu probably got in the way and for that reason alone she'd forgive him anything, which is sad.

Now he showers so much love. The man has sacrificed his uniform, his baby .He had done a lot for her but once they could have shown a proper apology .Even the confession was not the up to the mark atleast not up to the standards of Kalma 's sensual chemistry . Cvs ko todha sochna chahiye !

Exactly... he did apologize, but what's the point if he doesn't even remember doing it, was still mourning his relationship with Sampada and affected by her to a degree and later repeated the same mistake of doubting Kalyani's honesty and words? They could have at least shown Kalyani giving him s hard time after he realized his mistakes or at least after the whole Swara/Anu incident fiasco, giving her an opportunity to point out how she's been patient and understanding even when he's done awful and cruel things to her for stuff he believed she did with no real proof except the letter of a double faced woman, and that she's sick of being his personal punching bag.

Why aren't women not allowed to stand up for themselves on THR? First Anu and the treatment she accepted from Atul and his family, tgen Kalyani following the same example.

I love Kalma.... but the issues listed above will always bother me,unless properly addressed and resolved.

ikr. especially the scene where he made her run on the roads by tying her to his vehicle that was a too harsh thing to be done to an 18-year-old even if she had really done something wrong (which she didn't) and that doesn't end there he torture her at home the same day my put some weights on her foot I think even if Kalyani really has done something wrong like helping samthav escape malhar should be mindful of the thought that she is just 18 and teens do make mistakes. even Kalyani was going through a difficult phase in her life at that time like she lost her mother, her father was in jail and she got to know some bitter truths about her parents past and also she was adjusting in a household where literally everybody hates her and call her najayaz. it was very wrong for him to marry an 18-year-old when he was sure that he wouldn't be able to love her give her a good life. He took out all his anger on that 18-year-old and tortured her so much when people try to justify his acts talking about the phase he is going through in his life and his anger and revenge and stuff, let me tell you all one thing that no one has right to spoil or torture someone else's life just because u are going through some shit in your life. so in my opinion what malhar did was completely wrong and his behavior didn't change much even after he discovered the truth that was totally unacceptable for me.

one more thing, I saw many comments on insta where we find people saying kalyani doesn't deserve malhar. to be honest, in my opinion, its the other way round. am saying this as an individual I don't support kalyani here as well. even she has done a lot of stupidities but what malhar did was against his own profession, torturing an 18-year-old who is his so-called wife was domestic violence according to me. if i was in place of kalyani i would never look back at him no matter how good the person (malhar) is, these serials nowadays are very far from reality. they pass the wrong message to the audience showing this kinda shit where husband tortures the wife and disrespect her a lot by throwing her like a piece of furniture from here to there and never even trust her after all she has done for him, his child and his family and always make her prove her innocence and the girl always fights to prove her innocence and never stand for her own self when she takes stand for others in her life like her aai etc just because she is married to that guy calling him ji ji is next level stupidity. i have a lot more to say but typing is so boring so yeah hope u got my point.

last point i would like to bring up is that whatever malhar may do in the future for kalyani's sake he cant ever wipe out what he has done to her in the past that was inhuman I would say.

Setting aside our love for Kalma as a couple, It's absolutely true that Kalyani is the most unfortunate 18 year old. She lost her mother and found that she had a family. She had just begun developing a bond with Anupriya when Atharv and Sampada hit hard on her craving for a family and ran away leaving her to bear the brunt of everyone's anger.

Aao Saheb wanted to clear her name and satisfy her ego suggesting marriage to Malhar as a punishment. Malhar held on to Aao Saheb's decision and blackmailed her to marry him hanging Anu as a carrot in front of her and tortured her to satisfy his wounded ego.

Again Atharv enters, this time Atharv and Atul both dangle Anu as the carrot again.

Rachit enters, he dangles Moksh as the carrot.

All of them used her weakness, her unconditional love for Anupriya and Moksh.

Malhar and Atharv were not related to her but I did not like it one bit when Atul used her love for Anu and agreed to divorce her if Kalyani married Atharv. Even if he thought that her future would be secure with Atharv's richness, he was wrong. How can a father who claims to love his daughter so much, push her into a marriage with a man who he knows has already betrayed the family.

Other than Anupriya and Moksh, everyone who is associated or related to Kalyani is a culprit.

Literally whichever marriage Kalyani had to go through was only by blackmail not by her choice. She was never given one.

Though Ausahib did it for herself , once she had called the NGO women and charged him in a case of Domestic violence . But kalyani stopped him. Sehban himself said that it was the hardest part for him to enact such cruelties . May b this has made Kalyani sceptical to Malhar and now she takes things in her own hands without informing her. The viewers had to complain against this and then they wrapped up the things and made things sorted. When he made her stand on the slab he was looking literally guilty . He filled Kalyani ' pot of virtue with mud and later he break the pot of sin . He even said sorry but in a drunken state . While confessing his love he did apologise to her , but it was the wrong time. The makers are very bad at executing such things . Ek proper heart felt apology dikhana kaun sa rocket science hai. Subtility dikhane mein ye log mahir hai.... once Malhar was feeling that he had impsed himself to kalyani when he heard Rachit was confessing his love . He had been shown guilt ridden , pained but the makers made no ground of showing a proper apology . Neither they had shown a proper apology nor a proper confession .

This is the reason why she always choose Moksh and her Aai bcoz their love for her is unconditional.

Even Sehban said that it was hard fir him to do so. So now its the payback time . Despite loving him so much she prioritize him last and think about him after she sorts out things with Anu and Moksh .

The Atharava Marriage track was till now the best where they show how much he loves her. Actually Malhar had also given huge sacrifices for her. 1. He lost his child " s custody twice for her 2. He sacrificed his uniform. 3 . He saved her life ( Though it indeed his duty ) for almost every ocassion . But actions are not enough sometime .A proper heart felt apology should have been shown .
