I think if that was the intention,it failed.

Like... the scenes were cutely inacted by Sehreem as always,but otherwise I felt they were forced and pointless from a SL pov.

The real test for Malhar would be if one of his own family members or someone he deeply trusts accused Kalyani of something and he still stood by his wife,unlike the previous times.

When the whole 26th July secret revelation happened,he didn't even bother properly confronting all of his family members about the whole planning they did of using his home to hide, have inside knowledge about the case so they knew how to destroy proofs against them,etc, whereas Kalyani got months of tortures for nothing.

I am quite sure that if presented with a situation where someone from his own family or a close friend accused Kalyani of something, he'd at least at first believe them.

And he is injured during mission but nabs baddies

and then in hospital for 2-3 days

recovers

receives bravery award👍🏼❤️ and thanks and appreciates Kalyani, Anu, Kaka for their strong support

The Atharava Marriage track was till now the best where they show how much he loves her. Actually Malhar had also given huge sacrifices for her. 1. He lost his child " s custody twice for her 2. He sacrificed his uniform. 3 . He saved her life ( Though it indeed his duty ) for almost every ocassion . But actions are not enough sometime .A proper heart felt apology should have been shown .

The Kaltharva marriage track was indeed the better executed one but I preferred the interactions they had during the Rachit mess,minus the whole rest of the SL, because this is where Kalyani became aware of the depth of her feelings for Mallu... just wish they'd gotten more time for romance instead of problems all the time.

Even the actors seem to agree on that and want their characters to have more romantic moments... they've had enough angst!
