Chapter 19

Kanak congratulated and left from there Uma couldn't say anything. He came back ved said here are all the evidence and I think your guess is right. He said this is the pen you have asked for keep it. He put the pen in the pocket. Seeing Uma quite he asked what happened did she denied. Uma said no we didn't get a chance. Ved asked didn't she turn up. Uma said she did and she was listening to me but Massisa called and told about my pending marriage and this has upset her and she left. Ved said and you let her go. Uma asked what should I have done. Ved said you should have stopped her and explain her everything see you always say that she left you but have you ever thought why she left you because you were not standing with her she did everything in your relation but when you didn't stand for her didn't utter a word for her in front of your Maasa and Massisa what you expect from her. She did broke the engagement but you are also equally responsible for it. Uma listened to ved and just give him a punch. Ved said now what I have done. Uma said can't you tell me this before when I was blaming her. He hugged him and thanked him and left from there. Ved thought this is the disadvantage of having the best friend he will thank you in his way. But be happy buddy and checked the file.

Uma went to Kanak house he knocked but she didn't open it. He said I need to talk Kanak please open it. She said I am alone right now and it's not right to let you in so please leave. Uma said Kanak I know you are upset and I am really sorry but I was never intended to marry anyone else but you. When gaurav told me that he is your fiance I was angry and I said yes it's nothing that. I still love you and want to be with you trust me. She opened the door okay I do but tell me did you ever try to search me . Uma said I will not lie I didn't maybe that's my mistake to let you go but now I don't want to repeat it. Now I will be with you. I still love you please Kanak. She didn't say a word. Uma said okay I will leave just say that you don't love me you never missed me. I will leave from here. She didn't know what to say. She said but it's not about us it's about your family. Uma said it's not about them it's about us. We want to be together and that should matter. And as far as this case is concerned once it's cleared I will talk to Maasa but be with me I have not been happy since you left me Kanak. With you I can do anything but without you nothing is possible. She thought for a while and tears busted out. He hugged her and said I missed you. He kissed her and she kissed him back and said I love you Uma and can't live without you I will be always your.

After sometime he made her sit on his lap and was kissing her neck and shoulder. She said Uma I do agree that we have met after a long time but don't start it now. Let me go. He said do you want to go . she nodded and said no. He said so if you don't want to leave so why you are. She said because Uma you are so handsome that sometimes I forget everything and that's not good. So want to go. He said same here when I look at you I also forget everything but I find it's good and you know that. Uma pulled her closer and touched her face her lips her neck. Her phone ranged it's her uncle. She picked up the phone he asked her where are you. She said I am at home studying. He said it's good that you are diverting your mind take care and I will be back after 3-4 days she said okay and Mahesh disconnected the call. Uma said that means for next some time you are mine. And hugged her from back. He put on the music and asked her for dance. She said only on one condition you will leave after dance. He said okay I will and they dance together . He asked Kanak I doubt you will leave me she said and what made you think like that. He said because I know how much you love me and I still remember the time when we make out for the first time. It was you right. She said absolutely right but the circumstances were different I was scared that I will lose you. He said and at that time it was our break up. She said Uma I had not realized that how important you are for me but when you were hospitalised it was a deadly moment for me. And I understand that I can't lose you. I love you I knew that but how much I realized that moment and I still do. She kissed him.

Chapter 19

Uma put on the music and they both danced. Uma said do you remember that I have slapped you I am really sorry about it . Kanak said Uma it's not your fault I had broke our relationship that had hurted you and because of that you slapped me. I don't say that is right but if a girl can slap a guy if he had hurted her so the same applies to guys as well. I mean the emotions are same both the sides. Uma said yes you are right. He remembered that after breakup they had separated their ways she had gone to panchgani and he left for Delhi for other case. Ved was not with him he was working alone. And he wanted to be alone. After some days when Uma had solved the case he started getting threatening calls but he didn't care about it. Ved said you should take this calls seriously. Uma said I don't care about it and anyways what will they do just murder me and I am sure it will be less painful. Ved said why don't you call her maybe she had changed her mind. He said I will not I cannot live my life according to her mood swings and she has decided so why to beg again I can live without her. He was on Mumbai airport when someone shot him bullet. Ved rushed him to hospital.

Next day Kanak read on the newspaper about this incident. He called ved to check. Ved said yes you are right he is serious and why you care for him now. She told that she wants to meet him once. Ved denied saying that he doesn't want to meet her and here all his family is there to take care. She was crying so ved said don't worry I will keep you posted about him. Next 15 days were very hard for Kanak she keep on calling to ved atleast 20 times a day and at last ved had given her news that Uma is out of danger and has gained consciousness. Kanak thanked him and said that she wants to meet Uma once. Ved talked to Uma about it. Uma said that he doesn't want to meet her she has decided so what is remaining now and he doesn't need her pity. Ved said the same to Kanak. Kanak still pleaded to meet once so Uma said yes I can but only once. Tomorrow I will be discharging so we can meet day after tomorrow. Kanak asked where. Uma said you decide you have all the decision making powers. Kanak said it's not like that Uma please you tell me . Ved said why don't you both meet at my house anyways I live alone and day after tomorrow I have a night shift so you can talk. She said okay send me the address. Ved said okay I will and disconnected the call.

Ved said to Uma don't be so harsh to her she really care for you and if you want to end this relationship than end it on a decent way. Uma said I will try but ved this is not anger this is my love and pain that we will not be together anymore and I don't want to show her how much she has hurted me so I am showing my anger to her. It will help me to get away from her. Ved said whatever the reason is just try to be calm and sort out the things amicable solution for this. Uma said I will try. After discharge Uma was getting ready Maasa asked where are you going. He said I have some very important work Maasa please let me go. Maasa said just now you have discharged you will not go anywhere. He said Maasa I have to go please understand and now I am fine nothing will happen and I promise you that I will come back soon. Maasa said okay I will be going out I had prayed for your well being so will come by tomorrow morning . He said okay and left to meet Kanak.

Ved said okay I am leaving she will be here any moment just think before you say anything. He said I will. When ved was leaving the house Kanak entered. Ved left. Kanak saw Uma and just ran towards him. She stranded for a moment than hugged him tightly and kissed him. She was crying she said I thought I had lost you thank God you are fine. She again kissed him. And was saying that I love you Uma I really do and can't live without you. He also bursted into tears and said that than don't leave me. She said I will never I promise I will be with you always. He kissed her back. That night her emotions were not in control her mind had lost the control of her heart and body. They both were in other world where apart from them no one exist. It was Kanak who has initiated the move. She laid him back and removed his shirt. There was a mark of bullet on his chest she kissed it. She asked is it paining. He said no infact I don't feel any pain now. She again kissed him. She was over him and the armour of his anger was melted a long before. He was himself in front of her who love her very much. He removed her top and unhook her bra. She laid next to him. That night they became one. Love itself is a promise to be together and they both loved each other surrendered to each other. It was peace for them after so hardships. They were inseparable nobody wanted to leave not even for a moment.

Next morning Uma waked up. Kanak was sleeping next to him. Her face looks more beautiful in sunshine. He smiled and again kissed her but she was in deep sleep so he doesn't wanted to wake her up. He looked around there clothes were lying on the floor. He collected them put her clothes aside and got ready. Ved called to him. He was happy and in a chilled mood ved said I have just finished my duty and will be there in 15 - 20 minutes. Uma said you don't need to come I am fine here. Ved said don't lie to me I know you are very upset and need me I will be there. Uma said please ved try to understand you don't need to come here infact don't come to house today. Ved asked why so. Uma said Kanak is still sleeping and if she see you around she will be embarrassed so please manage today. Ved was shocked Uma you are trying to say. Uma said yes we were together and we will be together forever and thanks buddy for everything. Ved said Uma just think I have done a night duty and I am tired where will I go and if my landlord come to know about this he will throw me out. Uma laughed and said don't worry it will not happen again not atleast in your house but please manage today. Ved said okay I will check in to nearby hotel or lodge. Uma said by the way where do you keep your breakfast table. He said I am preparing something for her. Ved said till now you have not offered me a glass of water and for sister in law you are preparing breakfast go and search yourself I will not tell you and disconnected the call.

Uma prepared the breakfast and take it to her till Kanak was asleep he tried to wake her up she covered herself with a sheet and looked around Uma offered her breakfast on bed. She said thanks but first I need to freshen up Uma left from the room.

Chapter 20

Kanak get out of the restroom and Uma offered her breakfast. She smiled he gave her a peck on her cheeks. Uma said thank God you are not guilty for last night. She said I am happy I was with the person whom I love so why should I feel guilty about it. They hugged each other. She said I think I should leave now ved can be here any moment. Uma said he will be not as he has some important work so he will not be returning by evening. He hold her hand and kissed it. She said still you are not done. He said no I am not how much I had missed you I can't say you. She said I am sorry Uma but understand it's not that uncle doesn't love me it's just that he wants me to focus on my studies and career. And it was my mistake as well that I neglected my studies now it won't happen. Uma asked what do you mean. She said it means Mr Umashankar that you are important for me and uncle as well so I just need to balance between both of you. I have to excel in my studies as well as I will be your girlfriend I will meet you at weekends holidays but during my test and exams please give me a break and once my studies will be finished I will tell uncle about our relationship and I am sure he will accept it. Uma said it sounds good so that means you will be leaving now. She kissed him and said that's true but I will be back on weekend till than wait for me. He said don't need to come I will come to panchgani and will make plans accordingly. She agreed.

After that they keep on meeting each other their relationship grow stronger by the time and their love was deep. Once Uma had taken her to Goa for a holiday as after some days there will be exams and she won't be able to meet him. They make up for most of the time made love to each other. And Uma popped her question for marriage which she responded yes and Uma presented her same bracelet which she had returned earlier but this time she accepted it and promised that she will never remove it.

Kanak waked him up and asked were you asleep. He said no I was remembering our beautiful memories. She smiled and said yes our memories are always beautiful. He said I was thinking to make some more but I think you are not in mood today. She felt shy. He said I mean the way you take me in your room laid me back it just remember me of our holiday in Goa. That time on beach resort you did same but the only difference was we continued our love making and this time not. Kanak said Uma last some days were very harsh for me. I know you love me but give me sometime to overcome from this I too want to be yours but before that I want to forget everything . He said Kanak I was kidding I know that what phase you are going through and you can take as much time as you like. And you know I can wait for you till my last breath. She hugged him.

They both had dinner while having dinner Uma asked is there someone else in the house. She said no but what's wrong. He said nothing I mean it's such a large house and you live here alone. She said yes you are right it's a large house and that's why I use to live in hostel but you know after rahul's murder I am not able to face them hence I am shifted here and it's just a matter of few days uncle will be back soon. He asked any maid or servant. She said yes but they are here only till afternoon. Once all work is finished they leave. But why are you asking about it. He said because I want to stay here tonight. She said Uma you are kidding again. He said no I am serious maybe you change your mind and will come close to me I don't want to miss my chance. She smiled and said there is no chance here nothing is gonna happen so don't build aircastle you can leave after dinner. He said no I will be here. She said as your wish.

After dinner she gave him a blanket and pillow. He again said are you sure you are not coming to me. She said no and closed the door. They both sleep in different rooms. Next morning she waked him up and gave a good morning kiss. He got ready and at 9:00 am maid arrived. Uma asked the maid when you will leave she said around 5 . He said to Kanak okay I will be here by 5. She kissed him again and said now time to leave. He left.

Ved asked last night I was waiting for you where were you. Uma replied I was with Kanak. Ved raised his eyebrows and said really. Uma said to your surprise nothing happened between us she needs some time and I am giving her that. Ved said if you are giving her time so what made you stay there. Uma said last night someone attempted to murder her I was there so he couldn't hence I was there I saw someone there who was trying to enter from backdoor. And I am sure today again he will try but to his surprise I have made arrangements for him.
