This was the city which Lord Krishna had submerged when he got all the Yaduvanshis killed by making them fight with each other so as to finish the Yadu vansh. It was first to save them to keep the honour and respect of the Rishis whom Jarasand had left behind to sit in a Puja for his victory when he came back to conquer Mathura for the 18th time after he had lost to Lord Krishna 17 times before. This time Lord Krishna took all the Braj vasis and everyone along with him to Dwaraka which he got made overnight by Vishwakarma to take all the Braja vasis there so that this time Jarasand wud win bcoz he had left the Brahmans behind and since Thakur ji wud never allow the loss of any Brahman he left Mathura. And hence one name, Ranchor Rai 😳

Well, today it has been found again!!! :D

On 16th August I think I will go to Vrindavan and Govardhan ji., I ll try and get lots of pictures and videos for everyone. Someone had actually PMed me and asked for Giriraj ji videos so I ll get that too!! 😳

on aaj tak news channel i saw this news

as they show all the mytho documentary on aaj tak show dharam

its really great

when i went to dwarika ,i saw the remnants of this baint dwarika (the original dwarika which LORD KRISHNA himself submerged)

even the pillars of this baint dwarika were kept

it will b great that u wud b going to VRINDAVAN & GOKUL !!!

wud love to see great pics clicked by you !!!

I also went last december to Dwarika, Somnath, Amba jee, Shrinath jee...it was a beautiful experience..worth visiting..i had a beautiul darshan in dwarika...and went in boat to baint dwarika to see the original temple...

Yes i remember your mentioning that you went to some pilgrimage. I hv never been there, Its really my great desire to visit that sacred place someday😊

yeah !!! it is said before doing darshan of the dwarika temple one shd always visit the beent dwarika

the beent dwarika is very far from the dwarika temple (which is considered the main chaar dham temple)

its very very old & there r many precious idols of LORD are kept there

it is said that the yatra of the great dhamm dwarika is incomplete without doing darshan at the beent dwarika !!!!

ofcourse the beent dwarika (the original dwarika) is awesome !!!!

i remember when i entered the beent dwarika there was huge sacred i guess banyan tree or some tree was there & the preist asked all of us to do pooja of that tree first !!!

a platform was built all around that sacred tree !!!

i went to DWARIKA around 7 years back !!!!

& last year only i visited SHRI JAGGANATH PURI twice !!!

so all the dhams of LORD KRISHNA def gives solace to mind & soul & its always a pleasure to visit these great dhams of LORD KRISHNA !!!!😛😛

THE PREIST there at beent dwarika told a story that LORD KRISHNA himself submerged the dwarika in the sea just to break the pride & arrogance of the ppl of dwarika ,dwarika ppl became very greedy & selfish ,so LORD TAUGHT them a great lesson & submerged the beautiful DWARIKA with his own hands !!!!

Awww!!! Yess, I know. It gives great peace to our mind and soul. Till I was in Delhi I did make it a point to try and go every 2-3 months. Now I ma here in Maharashtra. So I try and go to Tirambakeshwar alot :) and I just went to Panchwati, Nasik a few months back. Shri Rams place u know. It was nice.

But one thing I dont like. These ppl hve made everything sooo into construction. Sighs! If only they did leave religous places the way they are supposed to be!
