Part 4:
Taani: Anuuuuuu......
The whole college looked at Taani but she didn't feel embarrassed. Anu was her best friend, the one she loved all her life. Taani noticed that Robby and Mauli were running behind her. She finally reached Anu, who looked surprised. 😲
Taani: Oh my god, I can't believe its you! You've become so thin. You didn't write me a single letter. I've still got your fat angel, and it has taken very good care of me.
Tears rolled down Taani's cheeks. 😭 Anu looked confused, but his face broke into a smile.😊
Anu:Taani?
Taani nodded her head and they both hugged each other. Taani thought of all the childhood memories.
Robby: Dada....
Robby hugged Anu, while Taani drifted away. Taani was just about to go when Anu held her hand. She smiled at him.😊 After eight years, Anu and Taani had finally re-united.
Anu held Taani's hand and walked outside the college. All the girls were looking at us, but still, Anu held my hand. Taani got into his car and they drove off to Taani's house.
Taani: Maa, look who's here?
Laboni: Who's he?
Taani: Yeh aapka motu hai.
Laboni was overwhelmed. 😃
Laboni: My motu. Come inside. You've come to our house after so many days. Here, take this. It's your favourite ladoos.
They went inside and Anu sat down.
Taani: Maa, why are you feeding him all this?
Laboni: He's come home after ages. 😕
Anu stuck his tongue out at me. 😛
Taani: Well, what if he becomes 99 kilos again? 😆
This time Taani stuck her tongue out. 😛
Anu: Taani ki bachi, tu mujhe motu bhula rahi hai, abhi dekhta hoon.
Anu chased Taani around the whole house.
Suddenly, Taani couldn't move. Someone was holding her dupatta.
Taani: Dekh Anu. I'll say sorry if you let go off my dupatta.
Anurag appeared in front of her and started to laugh. 😆
Taani blushed and quickly turned around. 😳 Her dupatta was stuck on the table. She pulled it off and rushed to help her mum.
The next few days were fantastic. Every time they had to pair up with someone, Anu would go with Taani. All the girls would be jealous.
Today was a big day for Taani. It was the finale of the singing auditions. Taani was going to sing to 'Ek Paaye Nupur Amar'. Anu was with Taani backstage.
Anu: Taani, you have to win this for me, Laboni Maa and Neelu Maa. I'm going to be watching you.
Taani: Promise?
Anu: Promise
Taani's name was announced and she walked up to the stage. Anu smiled at her and disappeared. Taani went to the stage. As Taani was singing she couldn't see Anu anywhere.
Taani had finished her song, she still couldn't see Anu. For the first time, Anu had broken a promise. Taani was so upset. She was just about to go off the stage when a voice boomed off the speakers.
Voice: Taani Banerjee, you are the new talent of this college. Congratulations!
The audience applauded.
Taani was so angry. She had to speak to Anu right now. Taani ran down the corridors, asking everyone where Anurag was. Then she finally found him.
Taani was shocked. She felt as if someone had slapped her face!
