Here's part 5:
Anurag Ganguly was hugging a girl, who Taani had never seen in her college before. Anu even kissed the girl's hand. Taani thought Anu had loved her, but he was never her's.
Taani thought: For eight years, Anu didn't remember me. He was never mine.
Tears rolled down Taani's cheeks. 😭 Anu saw her. He was about to call Taani, when she ran away, away from the whole college. Taani rushed home and ran into her room. Immediately, she locked the doors and cried. She got under her duvet and fell asleep.
Taani woke up bright and early in the morning. At least it was Saturday, she didn't have to go to college. Taani opened her bedroom doors to find Anu sleeping peacefully on the floor.
Laboni: He was here all night.
A smile crept up on Taani's face but then it disappeared.
Taani thought: Anu is doing this just to let me forgive him.
Suddenly, Taani couldn't move. She knew that this time her dupatta could be stuck to the door hinge, but she was wrong. Taani's dupatta was caught on Anu's watch. She tried to take it off but it wasn't moving. Then, Taani tugged it a bit too hard, which made Anu fall to the floor. Taani was lauged and Anu grinned. He had brought the smile back on Taani's face.
Anurag kept saying sorry that he couldn't come to Taani's singing audition, but she said that it was fine. Taani felt like asking him who that girl was, but she couldn't. Anu was taking Taani to his house, when Nilanjana Ganguly (Anu's Mum) appeared.
Neelu: Taani, kitne din baad aaye ho. Andhar aao.
They both stepped inside when Taani stopped. All the bad memories came into Taani's head. Laboni and Shekher's heated arguments on Ritesh.
Anu: What happened Taani?
Taani: Nothing.
Anu saw the worried look on Taani's face and lead her inside.
Everything was the same. The red velvet sofas, the grand staircase, the kitchen. Everything in the right place. Taani was so happy as she came back to this house after so many years.
Suddenly, a girl came running down the stairs.
Girl shouted: Anu!!!
She reached the bottom of the stairs and hugged him.
Girl: Anu, I'm sooo happy. I've got my approval from the fashion designers!
Anurag looked overwhelmed.
Anu: I'm so happy for you Nupur. Finally your dreams came true.
He hugged Nupur as if they were all alone. Anurag saw Taani and released Nupur.
Anu: Nupur, this is Taani, my one and only best friend.
Nupur hugged Taani.
Nupur: I'm so happy to meet you Taani. Anu told me all about you in America.
Taani: America? 😕
Anu: Oops, forgot to mention. Nupur is Arindham Uncle's daughter and the girl that I'm going to marry.
Taani was shocked. She realized that the girl who Anu was hugging, was Nupur. Taani was completely heartbroken. 💔
Taani quickly made up an excuse of going to the washroom and ran to the balcony. She cried and cried. 😭
Taani: Why did I have to love him? I even said to him that I would let him marry someone else in childhood.
Suddenly, someone touched Taani's shoulders.
