My grouse is with Babita. She's also getting 30k when any pretty and well educated Mumbai girl could play that role while Iyer gets only 23k. Maybe we should really discuss this. I know some production houses where new lead actors get 7k a day and when they demand more, are replaced by other newcomer actors at 7k a day.

Perhaps it will give Miss Munmum some jitters and help her get off her high horse. Insulting well-wishers on your Insta is such a petty thing to do.

Babita's character is more important than Iyer all thanks to jetha's infatuation for her.I think after Daya,she's the one lady who got most number of tracks and almost all the tracks revolved around jetha and babita relationship.

Iyer has hardly anything to do in the show apart from feeling jealous,embarrassed when jetha flirts with babita and sometimes mocking jetha.Apart from that he has nothing to do in the show. After 8 long years he got one big track focused on him whereas babita has got lot of tracks.Babita deserves to be paid more than him.Plus it also depends on number of working days.Munmun works more days than him so she's paid more.

Dilip joshi is an experienced actor and he is earning only 50k per day.😳Mohit Raina earns 1 lakh per day.Ronit roy,Ram Kapoor earn more than him.It's so unfair that he is paid so less.

Same with Disha.She is working 24 days and dilip working for 25 days and getting 10k less than dilip.Not fair! She should be paid at least 45k.

Yeah but his show has been on continuously for 8 years and seems to me it will go on forever like CID while Mohit Raina ka show khatam ho gaya. Aur agla pata nahin kab milega. 1.5 crore a month is some cool cash. ⭐️

He is already doing Ashoka serial on colors channel. He's playing the role of grown up Ashok in that.I am sure he must be charging nor less than 1 lakh per day

There is no doubt that TV shows is good source of income for actors. Entertainment business itself is rolling in money. Even though there is more money in films, the risk factor of fading away is more as oles may or may not come for all.

On TV you get a good monthly income at the end of month and maintain a certain lifestyle, especially to people who don't want to take a risk and go for films. Most of these actors from TMKOC must have come from humble middle class background and this is a steady income which gives some sort of financial security.

Dilip Joshi prefers to do this show than do films as he gets everything here. Good money, fame, yearly leaves, friendly work atmosphere and a lead role. So do the other actor. Asit Modi appears to be a good producer as he keeps his actors happy. Even that Hong Kong disney track must be a gift holiday for them and may be (?) for their families. Just imagine how much the producer must be earning if actors earn this much !

First of all, I dont think movies can be compared to TV shows. Lets not put them as examples.

22k for an actor is not much considering the success of the show( and also if she is working exclusively for the show). Any other actress would have charged more She is good looking and knows to stand in a semicircle and blabbers those dialogues quite efficiently thanks to her lineage. She also dresses well during the society functions and that's really important thing for the TMKOC ladies. SHe also knows how to show excitement for almost everything that is happening in the society. To become a TMKOC lady its more than enough you know.

Shows mostly have Gujarati, Marathi , Rajasthani etc as the background of the story.Its so much done to death that even we understand some amount of these languages or even their customs. In this regard TMKOC was unique thing in the television. First it taught unity in diversity and second it was not OTT. TMKOC producer has used one simple logic to show the diversity of the society. He chose a Bengali to play Bengali, Maharastrians to play the Maharastrians role and a Sardar to play the role of a Sardar and so on . Fayda ? They can speak a few dialogues in their own tongue and no serious research is required in this regard. The Bhides for instance speak in Marathi without any effort and Babita ji speaks a few lines in Bengali when required. Whenever its an actor like Tanuj , a Maharashtrian, doing the Tamil character, you will at best hear Aiyyo that too in the background.😆

Isiliye toh, when the old Sodhi couple left the show, the makers brought another Parsee woman and a Sardar as replacements. Leave this new Roshan, the other Sodhi was a horrible choice.😆
