I know I'm yet to revert on both your comments: on the lovely comprehensive one on Chapters 1 to 5, and then the second on Epilogue 1. Will need to just clear some work today, and will do my best to reply on both, later today or max tomorrow.Sweetheart, take your time - just do not stress your self out. I am happy you read and liked them (makes me feel a little less guilty for the delay - though at the rate I do get around to comment, I appear to have elevated tardiness to an art form😆I need to budget enough uninterrupted time on lappie, for a comment as insightful, analytical and perceptive as yours. You know how much your feedback means to me. 🤗I saw your post in the Sweet Deals thread about your young nephew? So cute...give him a hug and kiss from me. 😳❤️ He must be the cynosure of all the family members' eyes no? 😊Oh yes, will do that, he simply loves being hugged and cuddled. He is the centre of our world, he is already aware it and shamelessly takes advantage of it.😳Loads of LoveViji
Dear Viji,
My Dearest Nynu 🤗🤗🤗
I am in a real bad mood - I typed a long comment and my laptop swallowed it and had the temerity to say - "aw snap, something went wrong with this page"😭😭😭 (I would love to fling it across the room at times like this😡)So I am redoing the whole thing in a notepad and saving it every one second. I hope I do get everything I wanted to say. Well, if I remember, I shall give it in a separate comment.😊
Yeah...it happens. 😕 I mentioned in my earlier brief revert on this lovely comment, that it's happened to me while I was posting an OS. 😡 I nearly fried my lappie too, at the time. And yesterday, it happened when I was commenting on a fic. I was reminded of your hilarious para in this comment. 😉 I'm really touched that you sat and typed it all over again. Means a lot, made me feel very special. 🤗🤗 😳Anyway back from my ranting. The epilogue as usual was beautiful and lovely. It was indeed a time of healing and recuperation as Sanskaar decides to make amends rather then spend time in remorse (which unless accompanied by remedial action could end up in self pity). And he does so admirably, with Swara by his side.
Thanks so much Nynu. It made my day that much brighter, to know that you found this epilogue so beautiful. 😳 🤗 Yes, indeed, that was what I was wanting to portray---a time of recuperation, recovery and healing. Sunny coming into his own, under the sheer warmth and adoration of his wife's love for him. We know that Sunny is such a rational, purposeful guy. He isn't going to waste time wallowing in futile self recrimination and idle remorse. He wants to make amends for his misguided actions by doing something constructive---and that is, by taking their firm to ever greater heights.I did like his acknowledgement of Ragini's high stakes game as well as the fact that though they still had a long way to go before they could be truly comfortable with each other, they were well on that road. And finally Swara is able to completely forgive her sister, as this time Ragini truly worked her way towards her redemption.
We've discussed this before I guess on another thread---the fact that I SO wanted to see a rational redemption track for Ragini. We never really got that in the serial. I am so happy you loved that angle here---the fact of her complete remorse and regret for what she did, her quest for expiation, for atoning to the very best extent she could.
Sunny does feel admiration and respect for the high stakes chess game Ragini unleashed on him. 😆 The fact that she had matched her wiles against him for good, really impressed him. But he is very realistic---it will be some time before they are completely at ease with each other. But in the meantime, there is that mutual respect between them. The quartet's visit to thailand was a time for enforcing the sibling bond and then they parted ways for the much need couple time (Thank you - I was a trifle upset that you would have them have joint honeymoon - I do not like foursomes, any way you see it😉).
😳 😆 He he...Yeah well, the joint plan was just for the Bangkok leg of the trip---since anyway SanLak had to go to Bangkok on work related meetings. While the quartet had a good time taking in the sights of Bangkok, the real, enchanting part of the Honeymoon was with the respective couples on opposite sides of Southern Thailand. 😆 😉 SwaSan in Koh Samui, and RagLak in Krabi. 😊Sanskaar checking out the villa - well Sunny boy surely is a very focussed asanskaari man here, I am sure he had his blushing wife turn many different shades of coral and pink and scarlet. And madame does not let him complete his plans with a very practical demonstration of how to interrupt one's husband's dreams of seduction. Sanskaar must have loved this side of his wife.
😳 ☺️ He he...yeah Sanskaar certainly is meticulous and focused in everything he does. And this project is certainly the most enjoyable, the most tantalizing one he has ever undertaken, the one he has most looked forward to. 😉 As you know, I think the mischievous, flirtatious, slightly brazen Sanskaar is absolutely cute! 😆 Swara can never resist him----and she decides to interrupt her husband's dreamy plans of seduction by providing the best possible demonstration that he has already well and truly seduced her with his charms. 😉
I just SO enjoy the terms Asanskaari/ Sinskaari for Sunny when he is all naughty with his biwi. 😆 One doubt though...considering they are well and truly married---in their hearts and souls, as well as legally by vows, these activities, are strictly/formally speaking, Sanskaari, no? 😉 😆They understand each other so well, they speak the best when they say nothing at all, Swara promising to be a witness to their love, their marriage and a keeper and seeker of their memories till he manages to remember. Which much be why their lovemaking was so ethereal that night, it was a reiteration of all their vows and a thanksgiving for having found each other again. And the magic of their absolute surrender did in part help unlock one of the most precious memories that Sanskaar could have, of that celestial proposal. And their joy when they relived that moment again, yes the heavens and oceans did rejoice with them. How could they not.
Thanks so much Nynu. I literally lost myself in SwaSan dreamland when I wrote those scenes, and I am so very glad to know you loved reading them. Yes, with SwaSan, they do speak volumes just by sitting in contented silence together, just exchanging tenderly affectionate glances. Swara understood Sanskaar's distress, his pain very well. And that was immensely moving for him, to hear how she would always be the keeper of their memories, how she would always be his witness for the events of their marriage. Till he remembered, he could see and relive all those ethereally lovely moments, through her eyes. 😳
That dreamy proposal is one of my most favorite moments from a bevy of favorites. 😉 I really wanted to put that in here---as the first amazingly precious memory which Sunny recalls. So very glad you loved this, dear. 🤗🤗love,Nyna
Darling Viji,
Hey Nynu Dear🤗🤗And am finally back - Such a dreamy epilogue to end the very dreamy 5S - very very soothing.
😳 So happy to hear that Nynu. Thrilled that you loved the epilogue and the entire fic. Your feedback means a lot to me, as you know; so I was pretty much floating on air when I read this. 😳So Sanskaar would rather take his beloved glowing wife for a romantic stroll and preferable only with him (the word glowing had been thinking it could be Swara who was pregnant but when I read that she was directing the household staff into plastering the walls, I knew it was not her - I am sure Sanskaar would have felt that the mere task of directing itself would be too strenuous for his expectant wife, which would have lead to another wonderful lively argument). 😆😳
😆 😉 Yeah---there were clues planted that it wasn't Swara who was really pregnant. 😆 I did want to keep that wee bit of confusion/ misdirection though, so initially it did seem that it was Swara who was pregnant----and then it was RagLak who were expecting, after all. 😉Swara has only the best intentions in mind - she does not want the child to feel safe and secure and warm in bright soft light - she did go a trifle overboard in her enthusiasm.😆
That's our Swara right there. 😆 Warm, affectionate, so very involved and innocently exuberant! She would want to ensure the baby felt all warm and secure in the glow of soft light dissipating the darkness of the room at night...but of course, she literally plasters the walls and ceiling with the glow in the dark stickers, ensuring that the room remained in perpetual light. 😆 Kiddo would still manage to sleep of course, if later than she/he normally would have fallen asleep. 😉 But RagLak would need eye masks for sure! 😆That scene between Ahir and Sanskaar - a beautiful little piece - I could almost see the toddler reaching out to be picked and cuddled by his favourite adult.
Awww...thanks so mych Nynu! 🤗🤗 I am so very glad you loved this part. I was recollecting how my kiddo would ask to be picked up, when I wrote that stretch. Means a lot to me to know that you could picture the scene.Swara research into the reason was partly true, she missed out that even adults find symmetrical faces irresistible, and when she has her own personal symmetrical profile who is absolutely smitten by her, it must be indeed difficult to get used to the tantalizing effect they had on each other. (I need a cloning machine - like right now - maybe we could all clone the asanskaari versions for ourselves😉) And good thing they have the door bolted (if not, maybe we should gift a automatic /timer lock).
😳 Yeah, that's certainly true. Sunny's symmetrical and chiseled features. No wonder Swara can't resist him, and loves the effect they have on each other. And yes, they better keep the room door bolted when they are in such an amorous mood. 😉 Cloning machine! 😆 😆 Now that would really be a find, if you manage to get your hands on one. 😉Lakshya has matured but still retains his impulsiveness and has not lost the habit of blurting out whatever comes in his mind. But the conclusion of that conversation was absolutely on the mark - both of them have willing allowed themselves to be wound around their respective lovely wives' tiny little fingers. A beautiful and apt surrender, as their wives do consider them to be their world.
😉 Yeah, Lakshya certainly has matured as an individual, has become more conscious of the consequences of his own actions. And is a far more responsible person, as a result. But his fundamentally happy go lucky, cheerily insouciant nature still remains---that is who he is, after all. But now, tempered by his greater responsibility, and with his far more perceptive wife by his side, that cheery, high spirited casualness is probably one of his greater strengths. And SanLak certainly have allowed their respective wives to wind them around their shapely little fingers. 😆 As you put so well, that is beautifully fitting, since their respective wives do consider them their very world and more.It is tough and not fair to pick one scene as my favourite but I will still do - the final scene when all the four are in the den, absolutely happy and in eager anticipation of the intended arrival (agreed they have to wait four months more, but still) and this time as a very peaceful and hopeful echo of their earlier conversation, both Sanskaar and Ragini decide that the earlier decision of having the arrival address Swara and Sanskaar as Badi Maa and Bade Papa was the most suitable one. I loved it, it was a silent declaration that finally both Ragini and Sanskaar could actually be friends now, a reiteration of the love that Ragini and Lakshya now shared, a much matured and deep founded one, a re-enforcement of the love that Swara and Sanskaar have for each other mingled with a soft and better understanding between the respective siblings. I loved this scene the best - also because of the hope that the every new arrival portends - a common place miracle, but a miracle nonetheless.
🤗🤗🤗🤗 I am just so very touched by this Nynu. How beautifully you analyzed this scene. I always cherish your comments for their superb insights, the depth of your perceptiveness and analysis. And here, I felt simply humbled and blessed that you distilled the meaning, the nuance I wanted to endow that scene with, in such a lovely manner.🤗🤗 And yes, the anticipated arrival of a little bundle of joy---really is a magical, miraculous period, no? A hopeful, loving, tender time of anticipation and warmth. 😳And also for the dreams that it causes Sanskaar to have - so much so that he decides that they should practice - starting with the warm shower to revenge for the cold splash. The practice sessions indeed do promise to be tantalizing and productive too - maybe sometime in the not too distant future.
😳 ☺️ Yeah well---that was naughty, slightly brazen Sunny boy there. 😉 And yes, the numerous, repeated practice sessions promise to be highly tantalizing and intensely enjoyable. 😆 😳 Starting with the Warm shower revenge for cold splash.☺️☺️ Yes---indeed!! 😉love,Nyna
