Res 😊 you are on a roll Viji! And I am loving it! 😊
Dear Viji,
Apologies for this late unres.
This absolutely awesome five shot was utter brilliance! The idea of memory loss happening to Sanskaar was an ingenious idea. Role's reversal! Atleast there was no khooni-khooni' showdown happening! Small mercies! 😛
Chapter 1 - The Man with No Name
This chapter was methodical, from what happened to how he was saved to his amnesia and his recovery. Logical and something that makes sense, like a breath of fresh air in the absolutely unbearable drama called SwaRagini.
Viji, whenever I read your stories your awesome description of Sanskaar make me want to swoon! 😉 This man is something out of dreams. Sanskaar's feelings and memories - all hazy and jumbled along with that desperate feeling of missing out something - or rather someone- very important was so brilliantly written down. I could literally feel that whatever it is, is within grasps yet out of reach.
Ofcourse he has to remember Swara, after all the mind may not know but the heart belongs to her. 😊 The way you have shown the near death experience, his mettle in recovering and the fabulous way he does recover - systematic events written so, so very wonderfully. I really liked how you brought his memory back, and the grim smile, and fury blazing through him on realizing his name and what his family had done. Man! this guy has some serious intensity thing going on here and I am a complete fan!
Chapter 2 - Of remembered hate and forgotten love
The title was so apt. And goodness, we have the Sanskaar that we fell for back. I swear after these terrible 6-7 months I wish we had the days of semi-negative Sanskaar and Ragini back. *sigh* Anyway, Sanskaar Ram Prasad Maheshwari...
This chapter took my breath away for the sheer fact that it was so perfect. The emotions going through Sanskaar on remembering the memories was brilliant. His vindictive side soaring up again along with the desparate confusion of not knowing exactly why Swara shot him, or why her thoughts were bothering him so much, the final realization of who she was exactly and the possible conclusions and reasons of why she must have shot him, his trying to contact Nakul Mehta, the need to figure out exactly what had happened with his plan, did he succeed?, the extent of hurt and want for revenge had lessened considerably and his confusion not knowing why, it was all so well thought out and you wrote the words so fabulously. The chapter was extremely gripping.
I loved him as a ruthless villain and this gave me a dose of the same - after all I did start watching it regularly after his entry, before that I just followed the storyline.
I really loved how Sanskaar so cleverly made sure that his being alive and well not be told to any of the family members as he wanted to tell them in person. And the reunion! My heart was pounding while reading it. I thought you might put in some absolutely dramatic twist and leave us with a cliff hanger but instead I wanted to hug you tight for that utterly awesome reunion of SwaSan. ❤️. The feels in my heart while reading the whole reunion scene Viji... Have you seen IPKKND? The patent dhak dhak feeling of that show, I was feeling the same. The reaction to and of the various family members, especially Sujata and Ragini was ah-mazing! And that line you wrote about Sanskaar feeling incomplete and his hand unconsciously rubbing his chest, woman, I want to stand up and applaud you for the whole scenario. SwaSan Hug ❤️.
Ragini, the dupatte wali dost, definitely spotted what others could not. Though she was happy and relieved for her sister, she sees and understands the rest of the implications - these two characters give takkar to each other like no other, one of the reasons I was a hardcore shipper of RagSan friendship. Take a bow for this! 👏
Chapter 3 - Homecoming
Part A - Swara
Another carefully thought out and penned part. Right from the zoo to her reasons for irrevocably being in love with Sanskaar, her heart breaking yearning for him and the absolute determination of his being alive, it was a captivating read. Especially now we finally know how exactly the events of the cliff played out in this other scenario that you so ingeniously thought of.
Part B - SwaSan
I am absolutely willingly spell bound while reading this part. The feelings you have shown in your writing cannot help but grip me. I cannot say more. Just understand that I truly understand the love between SwaSan so, so much better now. That utter confusion and chaos in Sanskaar's mind conflicting with his heart and Swara's careful consideration towards the love of her life who does not remember their love, was so brilliantly displayed. Viji, if you ever, ever, in your life write a book, you have a fan waiting here in the wings.
Part 3 - Ragini ❤️
I have always liked the different shades of Ragini. This woman was a brilliant character till the episode her secret came out and she left MM. After that the CVs could have made her so freaking brilliant, but everything obviously went spiraling out of control. I always liked Ragini more than Swara - guilty here! - upto the aforementioned episode, then I stopped considering her and focused on SwaSan.
I adore stories where Ragini is shown exactly as she is, incredibly intelligent almost like her pretend-mad-friend. The turnabout in the show, showing her as innocent all over again was an absolutely shitty decision. This Ragini, that you have penned, stole my heart all over again. This was the Ragini I wanted. She is smart, and intelligent enough to realize the implications of the memory loss. I loved how she is disgusted with her past - what she did to Sanskaar -her friend, what she did to Swara - her sister, what RagYa did to each other. This thought process was awesome. This third part of the chapter was in no way insignificant and I absolutely loved it!
Chapter 4
Your impeccable attention towards each and every detail of the story has always amazed me. The smallest of things in your story have a background. Absolutely loved imagining Sanskaar working out. ;) His brain is trying to figure out his further strategies and his understanding and frustration regarding lack of information. I was grinning while reading the whole HUF partition petition plan. Oh this man, he can find holes anywhere in order to take down a rival. I loved every single detail you doled out here regarding the whole plan for throwing the Maheswari business for a spin.
Ragini is giving Sanskaar the uneasy feeling and I am loving the fact that both understand that the other person is upto something or onto them. Man, I am salivating this Rag-San takkar as much as the SwaSan love. Also loving the fact that it is not Swara upto her detectivegiri here. :P Ragini joining the business or plain coming to the office was rather a master stroke from your part. Sanskaar's thought process here was enlightening. He wasn't Ragini's guru for nothing.
You know, I love how you show that Sanskaar's thoughts starting from anywhere end up coming back to Swara. 😆 That exquisite description of Swara and his feelings in those moments, reminds why I love this couple so very much. I was grinning really wide while reading about Sanskaar's sensual torture in the bed room. Bwahahahah. Khush kar diya Viji tune. 😃
RagSan confrontation was another ah-mazing part. Sanskaar is her master at working out plans, so him realizing that Ragini was behind the contingency Thai project plan was a given. You're five shot makes me want more and more of such awesome RagSan scenes. They have the devious brains, and for one love it when it is put to use (at present, in the show, it seems to be gathering dust). This confrontation was out of the world. Give yourself a pat on the back for it. I thoroughly enjoyed this ruthless Sanskaar. And the parting line of part 2..She had a plan brought a smile to my face. Damn Viji, this is probably your best writing till date. I want to thank you sooo much for this.🤗
Ragini's palat vaar. Oh, I have been grinning like an idiot from the start to the end of part 3. You have shown the Ragini that could have been so clearly. That awesome SwaSan terrace scene.! ❤️ The kiss... I want to literally gush about it, I want to go all fangirl here. It was so passionate! You have written out that scene so bewitchingly. *standing up and applauding*. The description, the feeling!!! I am spell bound!
CLIFF HANGER!!!!🥺
Chapter 5
Finally, Sanskaar talks to Nakul, realizes the truth and repents. But what I loved was the fact that he realized he loved her before he came to know about the truth. :D Nakul's revelation, the guilt stabbing Sanskaar, each and every tiny detail was -quoting Ron here - bloody brilliant.!
The SwaSan scene was perfect. Bas. Aur kuch nahi. Their love, their understanding, their friendship, their laughter, their smiles, their romance, everything is just plain perfection when you write it. ❤️
Viji, loads and loads of hugs for this absolutely marvelous piece of work. Thank you for writing this perfection. Will read the epilogues, still have to read it and will comment as soon as possible. 😊 This comment is late se bhi late when I had reserved in the first few pages. I am so so sorry about it.
I haven't had a chance to check out your newest SS. I have sort of stuck to the SwaRagini forum just for you beautiful writers' ka stories. The show has gone completely for a toss and the fandom wars are not something I am going to comment about. I think if I watch the show anymore my love for SwaSan will start fading too. So have already withdrawn from the forum, but for you awesome writers. Anyways, will come back to comment on the two epilogues soon. 😊
Love,
V😊
