I am so thrilled to read your comments and promise to reply to each one as soon as I get home. I have been sneaking time off from office work to read (while my spreadsheets give the message "processing %"). I would have to complete all those calculations and reconciliations so that I can take the weekend off.😊

love you all,
Nyna

Hi Nyna,

First of all, thank you so much, Sweetie for dedicating something so beautiful to me. 🤗I feel really special right now😳😳, even more than how I felt before reading it, to know that you have dedicated this story to me. I'm glad I could help you by writing those short pieces I've titled SwaSan today. It is because I know you would be waiting that I sit to pen down one, even after an episode that emotionally drains me, so you can claim all the credit of being my inspiration on that front.⭐️

Saku, you deserve it, I wait for those updates from the moment the clock strikes 10 and you have never let me down. and the @bold above, I now know I am loved❤️

Now, although I embarked upon writing a revert, I'm not sure what to say anymore. The perfection of this piece of writing is so overwhelming that it left me wordless. I'm so glad you decided to share this on the forum with everyone, (Unlike some stories I have closed firmly in my PC) It is very generous of you.😊

and bold above☺️☺️☺️. Generous of me? No, darling, if did not, how I get to read such a beautiful comment. (Psst... what stories have you been hiding - and what do we do to get a chance to read them?😲)

The childhood sweethearts concept is so sweetly used here. I could literally imagine kid Swara following a slightly older kid Sanskar everywhere he goes. And needless say, the imagery is enough to keep me hooked on reading.😳

I do like the concept of childhood sweethearts, and when applied to SwaSan - an d yes, a kid Swara following a older kid Sanskaar is uber cute.

It's so good to hear the same tale repeated from both points of view. One confused and the other regretting. I felt for both and especially my heart wrenched for Sanskar. His account felt so humane to me.

The same tale but different emotions and different memories - Swara's is more of anger and present confusion, Sanskaar is regretting wondering if he had not kissed her, maybe things would have been different. But then nothing would have changed his love, and Swara had to go down the path she did to realise how much she loved him.

Then the gift opening, I had a knot in my throat and my eyes teared up. That was so poignantly beautiful. Says a lot without saying much. And oh yes, she had to go right then, running as the story demanded.

Absolutely, she wasted 2944 days, 😉she could not delay a minute longer, not that her family would have allowed it. They were quite tired of seeing her deluding herself and being friends with Sahil.

Now the main story is done, let's discuss side facts.

Mr.Wood, you did have to get him in here right? Well, as long as he remains a passing by reference I don't mind.
😳That is the lazy me, I would have to think up a new name. And yes, he is like the passing wind in the trees rather than a rooted one.😉

I'm very glad that the two families were so understanding. Loved Suju she is awesome, that danced half way to her room thing cracked me up😆

If you remember, Sujata always found Swara cute and was actually planning their wedding for the past nine years. I could not resist, I love the comic side of Sujata (it is so grossly misused in the serial) - she was practicing the sangeet and the baraath steps😆

Lakshya is good too😊 So is Ragini😊

Yup, I wanted to include a sort of their love story but then it would have complicated the whole story, so just had passing references to them.

What I loved the most,

The start lines of yours, about how earth and sun love each other ached my heart. They were so touching, deep and hauntingly beautiful. So true when it comes to SwaSan and also on what I personally believe about love. Everyone has a different intensity, a different way of loving, no one's love can be identical to another's but satisfying in its own precious way. Those words brought that out so wonderfully.

But most do not get it right, we all wanted to be loved the exact same way we love another, not realising that we are all different and expecting such a reciprocation is foolishness. As Shomi says, why care about the quantum and the manner as long as our love is reciprocated? But in life it is not easy, we measure other's affection by the ways and means with which we display the same and that is where all our troubles start. Part of this philosophy (if I can call it that) is due to something my Dad had told me when I was a school kid, I would cover all the notebooks in that brown paper (I so miss my school days), both mine and my brother's, and had once complained that my brother never seemed to be thankful for what I did. My dad's reply was that you do that because you want to not because you expect reciprocation. I have never forgotten those words. It is with such small actions that large expectations are set and relationships are ruined.

That borrowing a kiss theory is so tantalizing, I knew as soon as I read it these are going to be the end lines.

I am a little proud about that borrowing and repayment of that kiss (I actually calculated the repayment amount😆

The double infinity symbol: I was sixteen when I decided I would have that on my wedding ring, never mind whomever I marry. It is the ultimate symbol of love that lasts forever. Thank you for adding that here, my favorite symbol in a story dedicated to me is really something😳

The double infinity symbol- how can that not appeal to the die-hard romantic that I am. Though my prince charming has either been run over by that truck or (I read somewhere) has taken a wrong turn and is too ashamed to ask for directions. Waited a little too long, I think I shall buy a double infinity symbol bangle for myself.😉

I could go on, but the chatter that lead to this line must be telling you how much I love this one. So I stop here. This means the world to me, thank you for writing it.

I loved writing it, loved having you read it and loved your comments.🤗

Loads of love,
Sakura

I just loved your story. ( this is an understatement but I don't know how to put it in better way.)😳 the whole story is magical.

And I love that you love it😳

I just love the childhood sweethearts stories little swara running behind sanskar and sanskar kissing sixteen year old swara...aww how sweet...😳

Oh, yes! a little Swara following a not so big Sanskaar, they truly must be adorable. Sanskaar kissing Swara - but that did not turn to be quite sweet😭

but this one broke my heart too...when I read sanskar's POV and about those gifts... I was just thinking that how can someone love so much without even asking for tiny bit in return...? but than I realised that when you love, you just love...there is no other way...❤️

That is how Sanskaar and only Sanskaar can love, just love and be happy loving someone even if the person does not reciprocate, as he said, he can love even more because he has nothing to lose by loving Swara, he has given everything he had. And that is how love should be.

swara well I would really thank that truck driver to jerk her up from her blindness... it was so beautiful to read how she overcomes her fear and sees what was in front of her since forever and runs to get what was always hers in the middle of the night...!

Sigh, she almost had to die to be alive. She had to go, right, she has already wasted more than eight years.

that double infinity symbol I liked that in the past but I never knew that it have such deep meaning...! (again a beautiful thought i came to know by your story 😊 and that SS symbol I cried I literally cried... nobody can love like sanskar...!

The double infinity symbol - is what defines romance and romantic symbols. And it so fits in with our SwaSan. So glad to know you liked it.

and finally the happy ending...they got their soulmates...and its payback time...just perfect. beautiful story once again.. !

Payback - for once both the one demanding and the person paying are happy, 😉

lots of love,
Helee.

Just adored you perspicuously and elloquently woven story impeccably blended with serene and sublime emotions in a mesmerizingly rudimentary manner.

Thank you!😊

I really appreciate the way you dilineated the grandiloquent concept of true , deep , fathomless love and brought it to a vivid , ground level...a level we ordinary mortals could relate and comprehend to.
I have always believed that sanskar 's deathless love is beyond human comprehension and is something too magnificent to be encompassed in mere words and like you mentioned in your introduction , even I am among those who believe that swara's love falls short of the dedication he showers upon her.

Absolutely, I still find it unbelievable that men like Sanskaar exist and that the ability to love like him is present in the men of the real world. Swara loves him, though not as fathomless as he does and somehow, willingly or unwillingly she always ends up hurting him. She invariably realises her mistake and then gets hurt because she has hurt him.

But here comes your brilliant concept of equal and equivalent , and the analogy you drew between swasan and the sun and the earth. The sun is endowed with imperishable intensity capable of both illuminating , sustaining and obliterating the earth , while earth willingly endures both laughter and anguish which sun sprinkles upon her.

True, deep and fathomless love always does appear to be such grandiloquent concept, but then...have you read The Alchemist? - where the alchemist says that all things (referring to the secrets of the universe) are so simple that they could be written on the face of an emerald. So I tried to extend this philosophy and alongwith Rumis's quote it was easy - the sun and the earth and their different ways of loving each other, but always constantly loving only the other.

Irrefutably the allusion to the double infinity was sheer brilliance and the concept of a scintillating love story that started right after birth is so divine and substantial.

The double infinity symbol - my favourite symbol and such a hopelessly romantic one. Sanskaar being who he is, really hit on the best gift - a double infinity symbol (two figures of eight), for her sixteenth birthday (two times eight) which symbolises the promise he made of always being with her, not realising that he was there with her almost from the time she was born.

Beautiful os dear..you are truely one of those prolific writers who have a distinctive command over both words and ideas , and they never fail to create a magical paradise with it.

And that makes me absolutely happy and ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️
Love,
Sanjana❤️

And that is swara- no matter with whom she roam or be with, deep inside she belongs to sanskar and at the end be with him.

This story is amazing the emotions were awesome.
The gifts were so meaningful. Infact i can try that double infinity to give someone.

Love
Kiara

Dear Kiara,

You got it perfectly - Sanskaar will always be there for her and Swara will always belong to Sanskaar, though she may sulk and turn away from him. There love is as immortal as the sun and earth.
Those gifts - Sanskaar really knows Swara and so they were special as each was a promise - of the times to come and a memory - for the days gone by.
Double infinity - It has to be for someone very very special😉

love,
Nyna
