Laksh's each and every word was ringing through ragini's ears, Laksh left her like that an hour before and his last line claiming her to be his only made her to sob miserably,there was a time when she wanted him to claim her as his...but now,it's all different...she didn't want things to be like this,she didn't want anyone to get hurt...but everyone got hurt..that too because of her,it was all her fault! Why didn't she just couldn't understand a simple thing that love can't be forced!only If she loved Laksh truly , she should've let him go .but she did love Laksh truly and she did let go..but destiny had other plans...everything changed..she changed ...and now Laksh changed!she laughed at herself , now she knows she was the reason...!she destroyed him...his life...his dreams...his l..ove...ragini cried bitterly, " but it wasn't even love...it was just a childish crush and laksh's stubborn ness ,what Swara and sanskar have..it's called true love and what I have for Laksh it's called true love..i know..i know...what i did in the name of love was wrong..may be it's me who don't deserve you Laksh...may be it's me who don't deserve you ".
Ragini slowly stood up from the ground and wiped her tears,she took the photo frame of Laksh from the table,she smiled at his face. " I promise you Laksh,I promise you in the name of my love for you that if I ever loved you truly ..I will make everything fine,I know you are playing a game with me..with everyone but Laksh you forgot before all this our story started ! friendship ,love,betrayal,hate,revenge !,everything is in our story and I was the one who started to play games ,you are just continuing it,but what you forgot is Laksh those who started the game should end it, I will end this game Laksh,and no one will get hurt this time . I will give back this family it's happiness,I will give back the son to his parents,a brother to a brother and a brother to his sister...this family's youngest son will go back to them Laksh..and I promise you before all this I will ensure your happiness and then ...and then..I will end this game and with that I will end our story too". A lone tear escaped ragini's eye and she wiped it with a sad smile.
Ragini was coming downstairs ,she need to talk to everyone...by everyone she meant everyone.and everyone was there on the hall .suddenly the door bell rang startling her,swara went and opened the door and was engulfed in a hug by a crying sharmishta,dadi stood there with eyes searching for someone and shekhar was standing there without any emotion, a bandage was on his head. Ragini stood there...composing herself, "laado..". daadi's broken voice made her look to their direction,now every eyes were on her, they were expecting her to cry or may be break down but instead of that she softly smiled at daadi and engulfed her in a hug.when she broke the hug everyone looked at her in surprise,all ladies were crying including uttara and swara looking at her.she slowly went towards shekhar and hugged him and a small tear drop escaped her eye. Hugging her back and kissing her forehead shekhar told to ragini " it's all okay ragini , I am here to take you back..I won't let anyone to hurt you come let's go back home ". But ragini's reply shocked everyone " I am home baba".
"What?" Shekhar looked at ragini in disbelief,"baba,I said I am home...I am married now...as dadima says after marriage for a girl , her husband's home is her home ,but I will do come for visit with swara for sure ".ragini said with a smile but no one smiled with her,they all look her with confusion,suddenly Swara started to ask questions about what Laksh did to make her say this ,Ap started to assure her with teary eyes that she will do anything she can but won't let Laksh destroy her life..all were saying something..asking questions...but she was looking at Ap and Dp ,they were the parents who were holding their head down in shame because if their son.. Ragini's eyes welled up when AP fold her hands in front of daadi apologising for everything Laksh did.
" I want to tell you all something ." Ragini's voice made everyone turn their attention towards her. " I am going to give Laksh a second chance and I am requesting you all to give that to him ,I know so many questions are there but let me tell you all one thing...you all are saying that we lost our old Laksh,but he is still there..that son ...that brother ..that friend is still there and I promise you all to give him back ". Swara interrupted ragini " But...Laksh himself doesn't want the chance,he don't want to change even badima has given up on him then why are you taking this risk ragini ,I don't want to get you hurt he already hurted you enough ".
"No swara, I won't get hurt and I promise no one will get hurt this time. And about giving up on him...no mother can give up on her child and I know ma is still waiting for him to comeback to her". Ap wiped her tears when sujatha consoled her with teary eyes. Ragini continued " And Swara how can we all give up on him so easily ? Even after an year ,after a lot of mistakes you still didn't gave up on me...each and every second you waited for my comeback as your old ragini. Then how can we all give up on him in just few days? I know in our marriage day he insulted me,confessed that he was faking love to me and was just using me for what I did to him ,made all the properties on his name, pointed gun on pappaji when he questioned him ,he ignored his mother's tears ,he raised his hand on baba and insulted swara ..all this are his mistakes and I will never say to forgive and forget so easily,all I am asking is to give him that chance ,so that he can repent his mistakes and after that forgiving him or not is in all if your hands. Even I made mistakes which was forgiven so easily before I could even apologise properly...even sanskar made mistakes ,his redemption made everyone forgive him... And all I am asking that is one chance...in the sake of our old Laksh ".
"But ragini...". Swara tried to say something but it was cutoff by sanskar " No swara, ragini is right ,when I and ragini got a second chance then why not lucky? I am sure he will realise His mistakes soon and will comeback to us ,as our lucky!". Sanskar looked at ragini and smiled assuringly ,ragini smiled back at him but a flash of memory made her eyes fill with guilt and she looked away. Sujatha hugged Ap happily and said "see jeeji,everything is going to be fine,our Laksh is going to be like before ,I already forgave him ". Ap smiled at her and Hugged ragini "you gave me a hope ragini...!".Ragini smiled at her DP and Rp gave her blessings,uttara was jumping and talking excitedly to Adarsh and pari that how she was sure that everything will be fine soon.ragini looked at daadi,daadi blessed her wiping her tears,when sharmishta hugged her saying your mother is always with you. She went towards shekhar " Baba, even I haven't forgiven Laksh for what he did to you and I am not asking you to forgive him ,all I am asking is let him have this chance". Shekhar looked at ragini and nodded and engulfed her in a warm hug.
Ragini was in the room,it was past 8,the day have been long ...but after days she saw everyone happy,there was a hope in everyones' eyes. After what happened in morning laksh never called ..he must be here anytime. Ragini's thoughts shifted towards swara ,she was with her all day assuring her that she will be with her on every step.ragini smiled at the thought of swara and then laksh's words rang in her ears.whatever she did to swara flashed in front of her eyes and she closed them tightly. A knock in the door made her open them ,she wiped the tears quickly and turned around,it was Sanskar!
"Are you okay ragini? Why are you not meeting my eyes?is everything alright?".care and concern was in his voice,ragini closed her eyes,the images of she accusing sanskar of trying to rape her flashed in front of her. " I am so sorry sanskar". Ragini spoke with a broken voice,sanskar was taken back. "why ragini?Why are you apologising ?". " I blamed you for...I ...no girl should do that...but I stooped so low...you were my friend...but I...I am so..sorry". Ragini tried to control her tears, " Hey...ragini..look it's all OK...it's all in the past...even I took advantage of our friendship...I showed you the wrong way and I failed as a friend to lead you to the right way...I lose my innocent friend in all this...and I know I am the reason for all this,I am sorry ragini ". "What are you saying?please don't say sorry ,it's me who should apologise...please forgive me sanskar...please...". Sanskar stared at ragini and said "OK,I will forgive you in one condition,you have to..." Ragini looked at him with questioning eyes ,sanskar continued " you have to give me my 'duppattewala dost back ".sanskar smiled at ragini ,ragini smiled back at him through tears ,sanskar took her for a friendly hug ,hugging him ragini mumbled "thanks a lot for forgiving me sanskar...thanks a lot ". "Thanks to you too ragini..not just for giving my friend back but for also promising to give me my brother back ".
"What the actual hell is happening here ? " sudden voice made them break the hug and look towards the door and
there stood 'Laksh maheshwari!'
