Either you are going to post updates before 1.30 IST or make it No Copy but not members only or you are gonna WA me chapter as and when update!! Every other time I try to read update my chrome crashes and phone hangs and it's really frustrating 🤬

😆 😆 so much love I am inspiring 😆. See it was going to be only no copy and then I wasn't sure it worked as although it's on first page, it seemed like I could see the no copy tag so got confused. That feels so good to read:) I am still in slight shock that you guys seem to like this so much, never imagined it when I started writing.

Your next dose of medicine? 😆. See I have just spent ages with my friend discussing what is going to be in chapter 10 and I have also thought through most of 11 I guess. So it's now starting to write. My weeks with work at the moment are gruelling and I have certain responsibilities there I can't mess with so I will aim for Friday:)! Love you too xoxo

Heyaa Shrutii...your updates are like a sight for the wearied brain and the eyes *especially since i want to gouge them out after watching the show* !!

What a beauty of a chapter !! So happy you chose to make this SwaSan centric 🤗

Back on the road...I can feel Swara's weariness and also sense Sanskaar's urgency to get to his destination. That entire paragraph did well to establish the effect of nature on a long journey but also briings about the strength both the characters show to not succumb to it. Swara displaying her grit and earning his respect, making him further resent his own behaviour but being cognizant enough to recognize it wouldn't do to dwell too much on those feelings. The fact that he's concerned for her safety and hence putting them through this frenetic pace is total heart melt moment !!

The description of the mansion and how they found it, it almost reminded me of safe houses from Harry Potter...hehe only he who knows the secret can discern it :) It seemed like a mirage that they stumbled upon. Have to give points to Swara for unrelentlessly trying to leave...and Sanskaar's response is pure gold :) Blunt dismissal of her unvoiced fears - loved his fiestyness !! Her subconcious has done a better job at assessing his character !!

Swara getting a chance to see him in his element, a glimpse of what the prince might have been before all the treachery was amazing ! Each of these moments will make her realise what the old man said (just like you said they would :))

He senses her and puts on the mask of the ruthless prince again...waiting for the relationship to grow to the point where Sanskaar sees no need to wear a mask in front of her. Where she's privy to his unbridled laughter and joy :)

Lol@ her attack. I'm seriously chuckling on how she doesn't give up !! And I have to agree with his reaction, but he has to know stupid or not, she won't stop trying !!

Was totally expecting PKJ to appear...and good naturedly rib his friend about the princess. Sushena (interesting name) the loyal. I'm totally loving this entire side of Sanskaar's life. His friends, his team, his army. That kind of respect, loyalty and camaraderie is hard to come by. Their interaction with Swara brought that out perfectly. The ability to check their emotions and give S enough respect that she deserves as a princess, it comes only to the best !

PKJ captured...nahiii...You brought out Sanskaar's pain very well...that which comes only for best friends and brothers. I think its not a wonder Lakshya hated PKJ...maybe he stole all of Sanskaar's affections.

Coming to Lakshya and the others. Yaar 3rd person mein bhi disapponiting :) How quick to judge and disown. DDD and Sanskaar I guess pegged him correctly. Tsk. Heartbreak galore for Swara !! not that it mattered what L thought, but the rest...poor thing.

Question : Why did Sushena think Sanskaar's reaction to Swara's plight was surprising (and also his decision to take her along to save her life) ? Is it the level to which it impacted him ? Because surely anyone as noble as Sanskaar would feel for someone's genuine pain and would want to protect someone from an unjust fate. Maybe he's reading between the lines...

Question 2 : Does Swara hear Sanskaar's exchange with Sushena regarding his plans ?

Swara and Veer...hahaaa (btw have to tell you this...my godsons are Veer and Vayu...you've got an element of both here ❤️). The horse also recognizes his future mistress, though he's probably testing her grit...Sushena quick to recognize the behaviour. That makes two he doesn't understand :P

And finally the icing on the cake...the conversation ❤️.

Nothing does it like a conversation. I guess she recognizes the vibrations in his voice, that tell her all will be fine. He'll make it alright !!

Loveee this truce they've agreed to. Iske baad it'll only be progress :) Swara discovering mroe of her handsome prince, the prince discovering more of himself. Additionally what they have to contend with, half siblings, impulsive cousins, the cavalry !! Can't wait for this weekend when I'll get to read all of that. Woot !!

That was a really good description of the desert landscape & climate & how it will tire out anyone, especially a Princess used to Palace luxuries. Aww Swara is just so tired. I am sure she surprised Sanskaar by staying awake for the entire journey. And she never doubted you of harassing young maidens Sanskaar or else she wouldn't have given in to sleep while you were still in the room. Even without her realizing it she trusts you on a subconscious level. A girl does not sleep in a strange place in front a stranger unless she feels safe😊

I was so sure one of these days Swara is gonna be using one of the many knives Sanskaar had tucked in on his person 🤣 Good girl😉😈 I really really like this Swara. Even after going through so much physically & emotionally she is still fighting with her mind as well as strength.

Pawan I thought we would finally meet Pawan today...but you got him arrested?😭 😡

Sushena seems like a good man as well. I liked how he shut up Swara & also thank you for not having Sanskaar interfere there😆

Ragini is such a 🤬 To spread such filthy lies about a totally innocent girl🤬 And if we ever question Ragini she might simper & tell us that THAT was why she wanted her sister murdered, so she didnt have to malign her🤢 Pathetic creature. Shekhar & Laksh of course reacted in the most predictable of ways🥱

Poor poor Swara Though even here she surprised me. She didnt get too very carried away & claim that Sanskaar should have just killed her as Ragini wanted. The girl is quite practical & not much into drama👏 You are doing an excellent job with Swara Shru 🤗

Why does Sushena think that Sanskaar saving Swara was unlike the Prince he knew? I think it is very much in character.

I wanted to show exactly that- the pride and strength despite physical limitations that Swara has and as you said, Sanskaar does admire the true grit in her- I love the phrase true grit- just something about it no?

😆I like the thought of Sanskaar carrying her over his shoulder but yes, I am making him a true knight so let him grit his teeth and get on with it 😃. Haha, yes, Swara asking what are you doing in such puzzlement and also not getting why a flowerpot?! I had read that in another book- a key hidden in a pot, which I thought was so funny! Weird I am!

I love what you picked up there- exactly- her subconscious trusts him totally. I had actually spelt that out but deleted the line as it was so not needed to be stated!

You were sure of the potential knife attack- you said it on chapter 7 too and I wanted to utilise that somewhere so here was my chance! It just felt right that Swara would try, even if it was doomed to fail, it would not be natural to me that she sat there and just cried and feared him.

Oh I think Priya has asked me the same question. See, I meant with that comment that Sushena thinks it odd that the Prince he knows got side tracked from his main mission, gathered an inconvenient responsibility and said his reason was to save her etc. He knows that had he really really wanted, Sanskaar could have found some other solution perhaps? It was meant as- this seems rather an extreme reaction and the attempt to justify it as the only natural course of action open to him, seemed odd for the usually single minded Sanskaar. Hope that makes sense?

Veer did let her at least mount him and didn't totally throw her off either but stopped from of course letting Madam ride away on him! Wasn't that truce just needed?! The desert heat was not only physically draining, Swara's conflicting emotions were also burning her inside out - so she is still to accept the extent of Ragini's deceit and comprehend the outcome of the same.
Loved the name of the place too - Ehsaas nagar - a place which so aptly describes the location where so many emotions come to play - Swara still reeling with swirling emotions - disbelief at Ragini, missing her family, anger at Sanskaar, frustration with her current situation and still gritty enough to attempt to escape by trying to attack him with a knife (guess desperate time call for desperate measures - but this was a little too much- she really thought she could get away with it?😲) Her attempt to escape on horseback was a little more well though out (but for one with a great skill with horses, she should have known their loyalty to their masters) - Sanskaar - his concern for Swara mingled with anger and understanding!

When Swara refered to Pawan as a traitor friend Sanskaar's reaction initially surprised me (he was inflamed - he should be used to called a traitor) - but then I realised, he does not care what he is labelled as - but woe betide those who think they can get away doing the same with his friends and loved ones. It took a lot of control on his part not to unleash his fury on Swara when she labelled Pawan as a traitor. Who by the way is in predicament - please he sounds interesting - do not finish him off (I get upset when authors kill the interesting characters - 😭😭😭)

And finally, she reluctanly agrees not to escape - despite her reservations, he seems to be making sense, guess that is partly because the enormity of whole sequence of events is starting to sink into her. Well, at least Sanskaar need not worry about watching out for her- trying to kill him and /or escape, for some time at least.

The end was -such a serene moment - Sanskaar holding his 'mermaid princess's' hands, both unaware of it and Veer contently nuzzling his beloved master's shoulder (guess Veer's horse sense seemed to pick up their vibes better than these two) a gentle prelude to their tumultuous journey ahead (right? - we would be having battles of wit, emotions, schemes, one-upmanship - simply drooling anticipating the possibilities)

Spot on about Swara- the mental turmoil is even worse than the physical . Ehsaas Nagar was deliberately chosen for the myriad emotions to be felt there:) Oh you thought her trying to knife him was much? She may not succeed but (part) Rajputana blood runs in the girl so try she had to 😆. She is well versed with horses and skilled too so thought she might get the loyal beast to still ride to her command- after all most horses are not as intractable and will respond to a good rider but our Prince's horse has to be as stubborn and loyal as him eh? 😉

Ah for Sanskaar- I agree that he usually doesn't care what people think of him, BUT he does re Swara. As I showed before her reactions are already affecting him and also I think to these men, any other insult is ok but being branded a traitor is worse than those horrible whip lashes and then of course you are right, the insult to his loyal friends cannot be borne. You like the sound of Pawan aka PKJ? And uh oh- you don't like characters being killed off? 😲 Do you read/ watch Game of Thrones? I love that series and if you are familiar with it- you will know that almost everyone that you start bonding with is polished off, usually in a terrible fashion! Not that I intend to unleash mass murder on my characters so rest easy but a few casualties in a tale like this cannot be a surprise?! 😉 Oh and PKJ is very interesting! 😃

Yes, temporary truce has been called! Veer is indeed in tune with the subconscious of both of them! Which is why Swara even managed to mount him 😉. As for a prelude- yes, probably right but you might enjoy the next stage of the prelude too! Ahhh- thank you for this and for the on-going anticipation, it keeps me excited too!
