Dear wonderful forum writers,
I have been stuck at airplanes and lounges for the past 30 hours. Instead of going home for the holidays as I had hoped for, I have been asked to continue for the next few days. Haven't had much access to the internet, just got thru.

There has been many wonderful write-ups and a number of stories updated, I really need to catch up. Will do so soon. As I had time in my hands without internet connection I decided to put it to use...

Haven't written in ages and seriously I don't have ideas the way Viji or Saku or Medha do. I just fall flat on the inspirational zone. However, while sitting and watching the rain wash off the dust and grime from the tarmac, an idea floated through...

So, I'm writing it up, nothing fancy just a flow of feelings. ...

All of us are governed by Karma, good or bad, each action will generate a reaction. According to Newton's 3rd law, for every action force there is an equal in size and opposite in direction reaction force. The forces always come in pairs..

So, my take starts after the kidnapping fiasco.

Not proof read. So, excuse the grammatical mistakes...

KARMA

Karma (car-ma) the result of a person's actions as well as the actions itself. . It is a term about the cycle of cause and effect. According to the theory of Karma, what happens to a person, happens because they caused it with their actions

"Is Fate getting what you deserve, or deserving what you get?"
Jodi Picoult, Vanishing Acts

She had spent the last 30 hours on planes and airline lounges...countless faceless people; the busy travelers, the harried mothers, the ever joyous teenagers, the holiday makers... Numerous nationality, ethnic group...the colorful attire, somber business suits, casual thongs, Jimmy Choo fashion footwear...what a time to travel. Wonderful feeling but for her it made no impression. She just stared, eyes glittering like diamonds, face emotionless, not reacting to any of the overtures of the cabin crew of Singapore Airlines. Her tapasya of 3 years..the aim that had kept her sane in her insane world was about to me fulfilled...She is going to meet HIM

Uttara being the darling of her brothers had taken the blame on herself to save one of them from the kidnapping charges. However, the truth could not be kept hidden for long...Swara managed to flush out the actual culprit. Yes, Laksh was accused and charged with the kidnapping. Then, the whole Maheswari clan just disintegrated. No one could save the family. The shock of knowing that Laksh had turned into such a deplorable character had made Annapurna suffer a heart attack. Everyone in the family agonized due to Laksh except for Laksh himself.

Lakshya Maheswari did not repent. He was still the cocky, pampered young prince of the Maheswari clan. There was not an ounce of remorse on his actions. His colossal act had triggered ignominy and fragmentation of the family.

End of flashback...

Present...

She rested her weary head for a while on the plush cushion of the business class seat, drifting away into infinity, letting the locked away memories of joyful times spent with HIM steal into her dreams. A drowsy smile which had been missing for eons played on her lips and she floated into slumberland. She saw HIM standing in the centre of the large vale, laughing at the autumn sky which was as bright as Zeus's eyes. Narry a cloud blemished the bliss-blue complexion and the sun was like the glowing medallion pinned to a sheet of white paper. HE stood in the midst of nature's Jerusalem. Man and Nature were attuned to each other. Then, his complexion changed, the pain and disenchantment crept in; the clouds started to gather, as black as the devil's soul. Doom-black clouds, pregnant with malice, churned and roiled. The world became cellar-dark and the heaving sky collapsed down drenching HIM and the whole valley. There was nothing friendly about the terrawatts of violence the lightning unleashed, just like there was nothing friendly about the man who stood underneath all the flashing lights... Nature and Man became one. Ready to strike havoc at everything and everyone who stood in their way...She woke up with a start, just in time to catch the sight of a branched lightening lit up the Stygian sky. Her breath crept in and pounding of her heart was like a clanking church bell...The past 3 years has been excruciating. A life full of drama and portraying a faade of happy go lucky attitude was slowing eating up her soul. She needed closure. Meeting HIM and making him responsible for all her heartache was the only way out...HIMMAT...

The pilot announced the imminent landing of the aircraft. She buckled her seat belt and mentally buckled her mental anguish to face HIM. Paris...Land of romance, land of lovers. The recent bombings and shootings at Paris and Saint-Denis were the deadliest in France since World War II. A state of emergency has been declared in France. Even at a land renowned for lovers, the atmosphere was gloomy just like her mood. She took a taxi from the Charles De Gaulle airport to Quatrime (4e) arrondissement. A traditional Marais neighbourhood. An elegant old neighbourhood on the right bank, the 4e includes the le de la Cit (home of Notre Dame Cathedral) and the le Saint-Louis. An address on either island has an amazing cachet but then, HE always chose the best. His apartment was situated at the central and well regarded area with a busy street life and nightlife. Nothing but the best would suit HIM..

She breezed thru the apartment lounge. Mrs. Maheswari', she identified herself to the security personnel at the lobby. They looked at her with bleary eyes, full of distrust. After all, this nation had just been stricken by terrorist attack. She showed her identification and based on the database, he had registered (all family members, which included her). She was treated like a loyalty. Mr. Maheswari was an affluent and well know figure. His charming nature, devil may care outlook with killer smile made him a popular figure with the residents of the apartment.

The apartment was just like him...Classy...Minimal furniture without any frills but very striking. Waterfront view surrounded by city skylines. Definitely HIM! She showered, dressed for the drama and then waited for HIM. A selection of light music was playing in the background, Straussian waltz had just started when she felt the frizzy feeling. HE was home..She could sense him even with her eyes closed. 3 years of waiting! He padded through the room like a panther in slow motion. She opened her eyes are stared directly at him.

She stared at his millpond round, effulgent, molten-brown eyes, the portal to his soul. Hello Swara!', he didn't sound surprised. She looked at the face, which has been hunting her for the past 3 years; he had hirsute bible black eyebrows on an artist's face; his face was quizzed with manlike, five o'clock shadow. She was absorbing every aspect of him like a person craving for water at the desert..

She sauntered to him gracefully and stopped him from saying the next sentence, the way she had been dreaming for the past 3 years. Her lips touched his and all the pent up emotions broke free. She devoured him like she had not seen food for ages. His arms circled Swara's waist possessively. He became the aggressor. Swara hugged him tightly. She slid her arms around his neck and pressed closer, the soft curves of her body fitting perfectly against his harder angles. He groaned, his arms tightening. His fingers fisted into her long glossy hair. The pressure of his mouth forcing her head back, her neck arched for him to devour. The kiss was turning hotter, feeding the hunger that grew with leaps and bounds. The silence of the apartment was broken by the sound of moans, passion filled atmosphere.

Finally they broke apart, both gasping for breath...'SANSKAR' was the only word Swara managed to utter before he hauled her back to his arms and carried her to the nearest armchair...

Ah! I'm really honored that you liked the visualization... I tried not to reveal the identity of the characters till the end, not sure if I managed to pull it through...I wanted the reader to keep guessing the identify... Was it...Swara or Ragini...and the guy was is Sanskar or Laksha?

It worked miraculously! I was thinking all through who could it be... Swara going to Sanskar or Ragini going to forgive Lakshya...once or twice in the middle suspected it was Swara, but still the curiosity was intact. Good job really. ⭐️
